The Eurovision Striking Contest - The Battle Begins!

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the double post. I put my text in the quote by mistake. Oh man, botched up posts, failure to read reports to the end, own goals... I'm just gonna give up for today!! icon_razz.gif

Quick query WW - in the September update my player (Jason Demir) had a goal credited but in the November update he hasn't icon_confused.gif Could you check again to see which one is right? Cheers

He did indeed, but if you read the bottom of the October Update you will see he scored an own goal, so instead of adding another column I netted the 2 goals off (an own goal counting as a minus goal). </div></BLOCKQUOTE> </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Sorry mate. I zoomed in on the update and wrote my post without reading on... (Retreats cap in hand and red-faced)

A lot to catch up on so I'll post them in order that I see them.

icon14.gif Doubled my value, icon13.gif still in Hammarby.

icon14.gif Was Second in the overall table with another goal for the Faroes icon_smile.gif

icon14.gificon_cool.gif Premier Division winner. Damn straight. Respect the Faroes!

icon14.gif Hammarby doing well in at the midway point. Addition by subtraction, I guess. Hopefully another fall isn't in the cards!

icon14.gif Not around for the finally as I've finally moved. PSG, eh? A nice team, I think I can help pick them back up into the upper echelons of EURO football. icon_smile.gif and a nice3 pricetag to boot.

icon14.gif Making some money.

icon14.gif Great start in the third year, only the mighty dafuge and the EURO host's star ahead of me.

icon14.gif Still in third, but we definitly need a keeper. And the mighty Birdy is apparently striking the lights out.

icon14.gif Not injured for once.

Hopefully I don't go a similar stretch not being on the net and don't have to make such a long post. KUTGW, Dub-Dub!

Not a lot of action this month due to a lack of players playing the friendlies. However, it was the ex-champs that showed they still have the ability to perform - goals from Robert Boyle & Paddy O'Furniture improved their situations in the Premier Division.

In the World Cup Playoffs Pablo Gonzalez came on as a 2nd half sub in the 2nd leg and set up the goal in the last minute of extra time, when penalties were looming! Lets hope the Swiss take note and play him more often!!!

Eurovision Striking Contest Roll of Honour

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">

2007/08 - Robert Boyle / Estonia (73 points)

2008/09 - Paddy O'Furniture / Finland (94 points)

And Greece got knocked out... Here's hoping they sack the manager!!!

Just had a look to see if any of the int managers had been sacked after the end of the qualifying campaign... no!

Greece changed their manager only in June 2009, so the current incumbent could be here for a while.
