James Knowles continued his fantastic start to his international career, now standing at 5 goals in 5 games, winning the 3rd Division with ease and sneaking into 10th place in the overall competition. He will be a force to be reckoned with next season when he gets a full season's worth of games and probably the EURO 2012 Finals games as well.

He could be a great bet to become the 1st non-Premier Division player to win the Eurovision Soccer Contest next season!!!

My Thoughts

Congratulations to Diego Polo, who not only has won the Eurovision Striking Contest 2010/2011 with a record breaking points total, but has also broken the San Marino goalscoring record and looks set to take it to new heights over the next decade. icon14.gif

Well done also to Brendan Petersen who broke the Liechtenstein goalscoring record, and to Magnus Donaldson who but for the record breaking bonus for Diego Polo would have taken the title this season.

Congratulations to In Der Van Dude, who's victorious season in the 2nd Division has helped Slovenia stand a chance of qualifying for EURO 2012. Well done to James Knowles as well who won the 3rd Division, he's certainly one to look out for in the future and could be an indicator of the success the big nation players could have once they start playing regularly.

I predicted at the start of the season that this season would see an increase in goals scored by the superstars and this has been the case, with the number of players who broke 100 points (which I think in future seasons will be the signing of a decent season) going through the roof. In fact I'm predicting before too long that the 200 point barrier may be broken in a season (especially when its a World Cup of European Championship year). icon_cool.gif

I also predicted at the start of the season that there would be an increase in debutants this season and there were, just one in season 2009/10 compared to eight in 2010/2011. As the players pass their 22nd birthdays on Jult 1st, hopefully the remaining 10 players without an international cap win will them this forthcoming season. I already know a few of them have sat on the bench or been in the senior squads so its only a matter of time. icon14.gif

The Race to 100 Caps

In a new addition to the end of season summary, these screenshots show who is leading the race to become the first Eurovision striker to earn 100 caps for his nation. Diego Polo has opened up a gap over his rivals and now leads by 2 caps from Robert Dillon:

Earning some great money, it'd be interesting to see all of our CA's.

Ummm, I've weighed up whether to let people know their CAs or not and I think I'm only going to announce when someone has reached their PA of 195 (or are pretty much are).

Current Abilities

The lowest CA currently is 123.

The highest CA is currently 172, with 2 players on 171.

The average CA of the 53 players is probably around 153-158, a rise roughly of about 10-15 over the past season.

I seem to have improved very little since last year, i think its time that i moved on to a bigger club. And also at some point i became co-owned with udinese which i missed, hopefully i can go to them and try my hand at a higher level.

If this is possible to do in the game could you see when the decision on my ownership has to be made???
