Oxslow
I am play as Fuerteventura after a few season I managaed to get promoted with 500k in the bank. Then the board spent 6 million on expanding the stadium by 4700 seats (Maybe for league rules? My average attendance last year was less than 800 and I had a 1300 capacity.) Now the board have given me the objective of to fight bravely against relegation for the season and the 3 year plan is to do what I can to survive. So now I don't know what to do should I blow my wage budget trying to stay up because I really need the TV money? Or do I just sign players to help me bounce back next year and save on the wages? I wish the board did not put me this far in the red.

Wee Aja
Fill your squad with loads of loan signings this season. Offer to pay 50% of the loanee's wages (or less if you can get away with it). Ask for a parent club if they'll (your club's board) allow it, it'd be nice to get a rich EPL team to borrow players off.

Some Guy!
Fight to survive, there should never been a reason why you can't in football manager! Try and find good players on frees, but it takes a long time to find good ones (physical time, and game time)...
Oxslow
Thanks for the advise everyone. I have signed some good players (none of them asked for relegation release clause). Got a few more on loan. Just wish I could find a decent keeper my one from last year is 37 and his stats are dropping like a rock.
Heartwork
Try to buy some young talented players and some very good experienced players (that are willing to join) to try and fight relegation. If it fails, try to develope your young players into good players for if and when you bounce back.
pelicanstuff
look on the transfer list, you can often loan players on there for 0%. There must be some keepers at least. Edit: keeping the wage bill down is a must to avoid going bust.
