I wouldn't class him as a Trequarista or an advanced playmaker ... he had far more mobility and variation in his game than to be static or operate in a particular third of the pitch. He would have pretty much free run of the entire opposition half, from the centre circle to the corner flags or penalty spot. I don't think a 'roaming playmaker' with get further forward cuts it Possibly a trequarista with a PPM 'likes to come deep to get the ball' ... but ...
