Colonel Getafe
I was wondering when you take a new job and the board have a requirement of "developing youth players" do they mean just the players who get brought through the academy organically over the years or would it count as fulfilling their request by buying 17-19 yr olds and developing them into first teamers, even though some may not eventually count as 'club grown'? Thanks.
zlatanera
I believe it does count if you bring them in before age 18...or 21...not 100% sure. It should tell you on your scout report that a player "matches a signing philosophy" or something like that.
Snorks
Yeah, you should see it on your scout report.
Flashman
Buying young players and eventually getting them into your first team definitely counts towards the philosophy. Not quite sure how it differs from 'signing young players for the first team' but I assume the latter would include slightly older players.

Signing young players for first team means exactly that. You sign players 22 or younger (I think) who feature a lot in your first team and get plenty of game time.
