Northernpilgrim
Not a great February, as we bow out of the Champions League, but we remain unbeaten in La Liga which means we end the month 16 points clear at the top

Northernpilgrim
We went through March unbeaten, though we did throw away a 3-1 lead against Real Madrid but it doesn't look like it's going to be costly, as our lead at the top is still 16 points
Northernpilgrim
We've done it, but you'll have to wait for the monthly update
Northernpilgrim
April was absolutely perfect, and the league was clinched in hammering Las Palmas. The gap now stands at 19 points. I'm not sure it isn't a chasm rather than a gap and with two games to play in the league, plus the Copa del Rey, there are still things for us to play for: An unbeaten season (we're only 2 games away, so I can think about it now with the title already won) The La Liga points record (it's currently 100, so we need 1 more win to break it) The domestic double. We face Celta Vigo in the final
Northernpilgrim
No unbeaten season, but we did get the points record and the domestic double ending the season with 101 points

Northernpilgrim
A quick summary of our performance across all competitions this season and the La Liga awards, beginning with Goalkeeper of the Year Manager of the Year Player of the Year Team of the Year, with TEN Barcelona players in the Starting XI the Golden Boot. Won by the only player in the above XI not from Barcelona and the Top Spanish goalscorer. That was ours too

Agreed, but gutted we were denied the whole season unbeaten by a red card after 2 minutes. Northernpilgrim
Bayern said no. They went for Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez instead. Northernpilgrim
We made five signings, with 5 players leaving over the summer Goncalves adds depth in midfield Dos Santos will be a backup striker Weah will be a backup AML Chibante joins Barcelona B as a goalkeeper and Petit replaces Ter Stegen as first choice keeper and that leaves our squad looking like this
Northernpilgrim
Just the one league game in August (ignore the Supercopa, which was in the previous update) and we're in the group at the top, second only on goals scored

Northernpilgrim
We went through September unbeaten but we were 3-1 ahead against Real Madrid, and Espanol scored with their only shot of the match (not even only shot on target, but their only shot) to take the lead, and it took until 6 minutes from time to equalise. The table now looks like this although we did get off to a positive start in the Champions League, and we're top of our group, with a trip to Anfield up next
Northernpilgrim
October was also unbeaten, but there were more disappointing dropped points against Getafe as we end the month second in La Liga and top of our Champions League group, with Basel at home our next game
andychar
Losing the final game was very harsh. And Bayern what were they thinking. A manager who has just provided a 101 point season...or Rafa Benitez. Yeah ok!

To be fair, Benitez has done really well over the course of this save, he's won all of this since the start of my career I can't really blame them for opting for virtually guaranteed success

Northernpilgrim
November was one match from perfect, but the defeat was a shocker and we remain second, behind shock leaders Real Sociedad but we need a win over Liverpool to top our Champions League group

Northernpilgrim
May wasn't as good as I'd hoped, as we came up short against Sociedad, but we won the Copa del Rey and the win over Athletic Bilbao means we also secured the La Liga title again I will post a full season roundup later.
Northernpilgrim
Right, time to round up the season just gone, and it's La Liga awards time, starting with the Goalkeeper of the Year, our very own Edouard Petit Player of the Year was Fernando, also one of our players None of our players made the top 3 in the Golden Boot, but Pau Gil did in the Top Spanish Goalscorer eight of our players made the La Liga Team of the Year, with two more on the bench and I was named Manager of the Year

Northernpilgrim
I can't believe I'm writing this, but here we go. I've applied for, and got an interview, at a club I usually swear I'll never join. There is only one reason why I'm doing it, and that is because I want to add the Champions League to my trophy collection, and the two Manchester clubs represent the best opportunity to do that right now. Jose Mourinho has just been sacked by United for the second time. Diego Simeone is at City, and his status is 'Very Insecure'. My hope is that this interview might push them into sacking him, and I can then join City rather than United. If that doesn't happen, and I'm offered this, I'll take it

Not too sure, as I don't have the Scottish League loaded and playable. Have checked Rangers and Celtic's histories, and neither has had a tycoon or consortium takeover, but Rangers have increased the capacity of Ibrox to 120,000, which can't be doing them any harm. Internationally, Scotland have made the quarter finals of the last two World Cups (2026 and 2030), they won Euro 2020 and were finalists in Euro 2028. Northernpilgrim
September wasn't great, as we failed to win either of our away Bundesliga games which saw us lose top spot, and with the start Dortmund have made, possibly the title already At least our Champions League group is going to plan
