Northernpilgrim
We had an almost perfect January, winning every league game, but exiting the FA Cup in Round 4 and that left us 9 points clear of Sheffield Wednesday in second, and 24 points ahead of third placed Leeds Things could have been different though, as we were down to 10 men after 15 minutes against Notts County
Northernpilgrim
There were two loan signings, and three departures, in the January window. Dwight Jackson provides experience which will be invaluable in the run-in and Joshua Peake is a youngster, but already good enough for the first team Edited October 25, 2019 by Northernpilgrim

Northernpilgrim
February was our first perfect month since August and we're now 30 points clear of third place, with only 11 games (and 33 points) to play for Almost there, but not quite. Champagne not open yet, but there is definitely a bottle of something expensive in the fridge in PL2.
Northernpilgrim
The Champagne can come off ice. It's only the 10th March but
Northernpilgrim
And the board have decided to increase the capacity of Home Park. Not by much, but it's a start Our current capacity is 17,
Northernpilgrim
According to the club page on FM19, our average ticket price in 2042/43 is £27. If that stays the same in the Premier League, those additional 1882 seats could generate a revenue of £50,814 per game, so £965,466 per season. So the payback period for the expansion is 39 home matches, which is approximately 2 seasons.

Northernpilgrim
Time to round up this epic season, beginning with the records set by Argyle this season ^This is also an all time Argyle record, beating the 102 we managed in winning League 2 in 2001/2 Our club awards night has been held, and the winners are and here are the stats behind an incredible season. Here is a quick review of the season, which shows we were top for 45 of the 46 matches The board have decided to further increase the size of the stadium On to player awards, and Saraki won player of the year while Warren Butler finished third in the Golden Boot and we totally dominated the Championship Team of the Year, with 9 players making it The final award was for Manager of the Year. I'd have been surprised if anyone else had won it, but it's nice to have it officially confirmed
Northernpilgrim
During the summer, a big vacancy came up at a club I've already managed, and I got an interview
Northernpilgrim
I got the job They offered me a 2 year contract, I tried to negotiate it down to a single year, but they refused. My initial plan is to take the job and if I win the Champions League in my first year, I'll retire. If I don't, I'll carry on for a second year, and I'll retire at that point anyway, as I won't get that far before FM20 Beta release.

Northernpilgrim
A reasonable preseason at Barcelona, although I'm bitterly disappointed not to have picked up my first trophy of the season And there were three signings Right back Ribeiro joins on a free from Man Utd Right winger Ferati arrives from FC Bayern And left winger Lemarchand joins from Angers This is my squad for the season at Barcelona

Northernpilgrim
A perfect start to the La Liga season and we are top of the early table
Northernpilgrim
The perfect start continued through September but remarkably, we are only top by virtue of goal difference, joined on 18 points by last season's Champions, Celta Vigo Our position at the top of our Champions League group looks much more secure though
Northernpilgrim
October wasn't as good, and our unbeaten record is gone The defeat to Celta Vigo is a massive blow, and we're 3 points adrift of them but still on course to top our Champions League group
Northernpilgrim
November was better, but still one short of perfect but we have gone back to the top of LaLiga and qualify from our Champions League group as winners
Northernpilgrim
We finally had a perfect month in December, despite losing our goalkeeper in the final match ending the month 5 points clear, albeit having played a game more but we have gone through to the knockout stages of the Champions League as winners
Northernpilgrim
January wasn't too shabby either and we have a five point lead over last season's Champions, but they do have a game in hand In terms of transfers, there were no arrivals, but Raul Clotet is loaned out for the rest of the season, so is very unlikely to play for me again
Soviet
Interesting career! But now, with FM20 on the horizon, there can be only one question: did you achieve your goal and restored your enjoyment of FM19?

Northernpilgrim
With the news that the Beta landed while I was at work, I'm going to wrap this save up as quickly as possible, and move on to FM20. Northernpilgrim
We did lose the game following my announcement, but February was otherwise perfect Amazingly, we've conceded just 7 goals all season, but the league is not entirely in our own hands. If Celta win their games in hand, they'll go above us. We play at Camp Nou against them on 13th March, and that could well decide the destination of the title. Northernpilgrim
This is the final Youth Intake of my career. I'm not allowed to deal with contracts or transfers now, and I won't get to find out how these guys get on
Northernpilgrim
We followed a nearly perfect February with an absolutely perfect March and we now sit 11 points clear, having played 3 games more. For the first time, it's in our own hands, but we have no margin for error. 8 wins from 8 and I'll end my career with another LaLiga title Edited November 1, 2019 by Northernpilgrim
Northernpilgrim
There will be no farewell at the Bernabeu in the Champions League, but it was a perfect month in LaLiga but Celta Vigo aren't done yet, although they're 12 points behind, they have 2 games in hand
