They kinda allow for the game to use alongside the hardcoded stuff, or replace them completly (override) as far as i know.  I use it as i make USA database and some of their rules are a pain.  This just guarantees the game ignores them for the created

I can remember seeing this on last years editor.

What does each set of rules do?

when you want increase or decrease number of teams in some league, you need this option set for flexible rules.

Where do you put the file?

Assuming you're on a PC -

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2020\data

I've backed up the original - but expect that verifying files via Steam would replace it if needed

The downloaded file needs to have the underscore between comp & editor replaced with a space

Using the config file in this thread renders FM21 editor unable to start - would it be possible to get an update or otherwise an explanation of how it was enabled? I expect its something to do with the dates being off.

Hi.

1. Put the original comp editor.fmf from the game.

2. Extract this file in the skins folder in the documents.

editor.rar

3. Clear editor cache.

4. Launch the editor and enjoy.

I'm making a USA pro/rel database as well - to clarify you're using the "Override Rules in Code" option?
