Also good to keep in mind that a lot of African regens don't enter the game at African clubs, but rather at European teams (especially French ones). Bought for € 13,25M from Atletico Mineiro in season 2024/25. In the meantime he played 99 games and scored 85 goals And this is his striking partner..... Hernán González. Bought for € 5,25M form Tigres in 2026/27. He played 48 games and scored 50 goals Philip Dolling, a midfielder I bought for €105K from Hansa Rostock in season 2023/24. ThomasDoBonfimSantos Posted March 10, 2021 Share Posted March 10, 2021 hey! through my time in FM i have had some impressive players but none like my iconic striker 'Thomas Do Bonfim Santos' with roots in equatorial guinea he chose to play for England and brought about immense success at both club level and internationally and being the no1 recognised player in the world for a decade sadly being on FM on the switch, my save file ended as he hit his 30th birthday. he is a legend winning the premier league 11 times with Chelsea along with 4 FA Cups 3 European champion league titles, 5 Carabao cups, 3 European super cups, 9 charity shields and a Europe league title. he also won 2 European championships and a world cup in 2046 ending England's world cup drought of 80 years. definitly without a doubt my best regen. his career began at a time where i had broke the world transfer record signing arsenal striker 'scott edge' he had been the driving force behind arsenals revival and nearly brought arsenal a premier league win in 2033/34 but with 3 games to go they emploded and gave the title to manchester city. i had made him my main target for a number of seasons but he was never able to join. at chelsea my strike force was not strong enough and it was costing me title races so i broke the bank and signed him for £176M in the summer of 2034 this was a perfect fit or so we had thought. he started very well hitting 24 league goals in the 2034/35 as i won a league and cup double without any real challenge that season, the next season thomas do bonfim santos came through my academy as a promising prospect but due to being at the time scott edge was at his peak this time hitting 27 league goals and helping me to a european title and premier league double he made only 3 starts all season and only scoring in the champions league once. the following season a descision was made to loan him out to gain experience and improve his skill and he went to crystal palace it was the start to a legendary career. at just 16 he was a mainstay in the side and was their talisman helping them to premier league promotion and saw his stock rise. in the following season he starred again for a struggling crystal palace helping them to stay up. by this time at age 17 he gained his first england appearance. the following season chelsea decided to loan him to tottenham and it was another amazing season helping them to a champions league place finish and showing himself to be an elite player at just 18. the following season i made a big descision to sell my talismanic striker scott edge to rivals manchester city for £150M as i believed he could lead the line for chelsea even at his tender age. boy was i right. the rest is history.... 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have been having fun playing a low block this year but it would be a crime to not utilize this guy in a high press. Been experimenting with different roles up front - he plays equally well as AF, F9 , I play 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 with 2 deep defensive mids. I would love to see how this guy gets on with a poacher type partner up front. He's late in his career now but have won Ballon d'Or 9 times in a row and scored more than 900 goals during his career.
