Start with the 2 extremes in goalkeeper; Aslan is a giant with excellent ball-playing skills but a little weak mentally (though brave a lion, obvs): And at the other end of the spectrum, Ronning is dominant and a fine traditional 'keeper but a bit lacking with the ball at his feet: Teammate Okumu looks a decent defender too: And a couple of wildcards, Iranian winger Ghaedi has excellent flair, dribbling and balance but perhaps isn't the most reliable when possession is lost... Till then: Astrit Selmani: great bargain and very good mentals, had him on FM20 for smaller and mid-table teams and on FM21 seems to be even better. I've been following him ever since IRL and he just had a great season in Allsvenskan, he's about to secure a move to Malmo. Fernando Costanza: starts the game as free-agent, very decent right wing back and holds an italian passport. IRL he's a good prospect as well, but left his brazilian team Botafogo on bad terms and has yet to find a new club, such a shame. I started my journeyman save at this club and he has won top scorer in the 2nd and first division by a mile in my 2 seasons at the club. Just got called up for the Russian National team for the world cup. Play him with a role as a pressing forward, and his is just unstoppable! I his the reason my Winbledon got promoted in the first season, even when media guess we would end as 23! First season 36 games and 27 goals! Im in the end of january of the second season, and he already in the championship played 28 games and scored 29 goal, WOW!!!! I bought him for 2M from Elfsborg but I think you could pinch a bit off that amount. He could easily do a job in both the Championship and a lower table team in PL. Tom Lowery - Another gem coming through the ranks at Crewe. He's got some nice attributes and could do a decent job in at least the Championship. Ludcinio Marengo - Signed for free at the start and I would say that he's a decent gem for League One. Playing as a RM Winger attack for me. Andy Lonergan - The 37 year old was signed for free at the start of the season as a backup keeper to Will Jääskeläinen but the stats suggest he could even challenge for the first spot. Abu Ogogo - Bought him for £45k as a replacement for Ryan Wintle that went to AC Fiorentina for £1m (huge money for us). He's adding some much needed experience and leadership to a very young squad. Sam Lavelle - Bought him for £300k from Morecambe as I needed a CB. Already scored two goals in four games from corners. Could do a job in the Championship I reckon. Yassin Fortune - Even though the former Arsenal academy player is on loan at the moment I just had to mention him. Playing as an Advanced Forward he has scored six goals and provided one assist in seven games so far. He starts the game on loan with Belgian first division team Mouscron, but I don't think they ever activate the optional fee they negotiated. RANDY SCHNEIDER - I've seen him around on FM20, still a good prospect on 21, shouldn't cost much. ZELJKO GAVRIC - Cheap serbian winger, should help small-mid clubs CARLOS ALCARAZ - Amazing gem. Dont know if he came this good only on my save, worth to check. This year's version of "Zaracho", who got a transfer IRL and now is mad expensive. ELIAS MESONERO - Good and young ball-playing defender, they are asking for 4M here. I see a lot of potential to be even better than now. ALBERT BRAUT TJALAND - Haaland's cousin IRL. Albert reminds me a lot like that promising version of Haaland while on Molde on FM19, very exciting. Got him for 2M, why not?! ALDIN TURKES - Seems like a solid backup striker for small-mid clubs, starts cheaper. IRL was having a great season but seriously injured his knee. YOUSSOUPH BADJI - Very interesting striker, solid attributes and I've seen him score a lot of goals in my save. Starts way cheaper, one to buy early if you can. WAHID FAGHIR - Lots of potential, but his team plays hard to sell him, needs some negotiation. VICTOR BONIFACE - Bodo Glimt has been a story to follow IRL and in my opinion they achieved so much without even playing their best striker, which is remarkable. Needs work on those mentals. GABRIEL MENINO - Legit player IRL as well and high hopes for Brazil national team. Starts the save in Palmeiras and cost way less than now. Scout early or the big clubs will snap him for sure. PATRICK DE PAULA - Another promising player from Palmeiras, I believe he has a release clause around 8-10M if you can afford it. Very well-rounded midfielder, has a great life's history IRL. JEAN N'GUESSAN - A lot of people already know about his original teammate Ouattara, but I also like to credit N'Guessan. Cheap and solid mentals to develop everything else needed. j IVO MAMMINI - Last player that debuted under late Maradona spell as a manager in Gimnasia. Needs development on the mental side, but has that poacher's face. DION BELJO - Following his FM20 exciting appearance, I think Beljo is developing even better this year. BARTOL BARISIC - At 20y, screams danger and goals. Hard to get later on the save, now definately labeled as wonderkid. EDVARD TAGSETH - We all love a scandinavian prospect and Tagseth sure looks promising. HAVARD HETLE - Since FM20 I've always questioned myself why Hetle was never mentioned on threads nor shortlists, at least i've never seen him mentioned before. Starts at Sogndal very cheap and can develop into a solid GK. HRVOJE SMOLCIC - Good CB that can play as a defensive WB on the left, starts at Rijeka and has a release clause of 6M I reckon. MOHAMMED DIOMANDÉ - IRL Nordsjaelland dont mess around when scouting and bringing young african talents to Europe and Diomandé is a good point on that. Can be better. SYDNEY VAN HOOIJDONK - Son of the great Pierre (!), shares his father's love for curvy freekicks and develops very well playing as an Inside Forward or Pressing Forward. I was at Metz and got him from NAC Breda for 3M first season, he gave me +50 goals and assists in two seasons in France. FILIP BUNDGAARD - Cmon, look at this kid. Babyfaced, immense attributes for his age and a release clause of 10M if you can pay it. He seems to be one of those PAs that change from save to save, I suppose. Only just started playing this years game properly.. here's a keeper i found to kick my findings off with... your very own lower league Neuer, reflexes, jumping, one on ones... he does it all.. for a measly 13.75k Sticking with Germany, has this guy been posted yet? Not very pacey, but has the mentals and the technicals to take him far... also either footed.. reminds me of a german Huntelaar actually... I'm sure someone has posted him somewhere, but one of my all time favourite underrated lower league stars is back this year looking as good as ever... it's the Finnish Gylfi Sigurdsson ...
