What a start! Where are you expecting to finish this season? Gotta be pushing for Europe with that early form?

Hopefully somewhere in the top 6, our form is inconsistent at the moment, we'll win against Liverpool or Arsenal etc 1-0, then go on to lose 4-0 to Norwich. Or 3-0 to Southampton. I'm thinking anywhere from 4th-2nd if we keep up this kind of form or improve on it. Neto has been a bit hit and miss though, and Armstrong has been really great for us, despite only being a squad player.

Around the top 6 first season is great! You’ve got a lot of young players there, they’ll have game time and be developing!

This was a really bad month for us, seeing us drop to 12th! I ended up changing tactic for home games, a more attacking 4-2-4 set up.

Our board isn't happy with us, and another month like this = I could get sacked.

What are the thoughts behind the huge amount of mid-season friendlies? Are these to improve tactical cohesions etc?

Surely the fitness levels must be taking a hit?

I've spaced them out enough that fitness shouldn't be an issue, but the main thing is to improve cohesion, morale, and match sharpness in general - usually taken over international period with a 3 day gap between each, with easy opposition to bring up morale after a loss to make it easier for us to win.

On a free fall at the moment, hopefully you can turn things around. well hopefully you get chance to.

Yeah, I really hope so. Probably a month to do so, at the least. Maybe they'll wait till the end of the season, heh.

With a better month comes us going up to 11th. The board is slightly less disappointed now, going from an E rating to a D rating.
