Is there a way of improving a goalkeepers bravery through training? 
As surely this should be one of their key traits

There is not. Not sure how'd you go about that one, throw heavy things at them?

In fairness though it is something that should be able to be improved... surely if one keeper is braver than an another it will make them more successful at diving at a players feet/coming for crosses in a crowded box etc. 
And so it should be a trait that improves as a keeper gets better at those skills.
