My club was making unexpected financial losses, and I suspected it may have been because of loan player unused monthly fees. If I have understood correctly, these fees should be paid out only if the loan players do not play in the first team? My loanees had been playing every game.

To test the hypothesis I created a new save and loaned a player using ridiculous £5M unused monthly fee. Lo and behold the club is making an extra deficit of about £5M a month, even though the loan player has played every game he has been available for.

 

Loan player contract and match activity.

 

Club balance has taken a nosedive, but I cannot see it being shown in expenditure.

 

The loaning club appears to be receiving the money however.
