GIMN
I have some suggestions for improvements building on the Touchline Tablet feature brought in this year, but would be keen to see what others think in terms of a broader discussion Touchline Tablet Option for full sized tablet with only 1 panel Analytics data available during game This appears to be in keeping with FIFA rules on touchline tablets Highlights/replays available through tablet Only Data Analyst camera available Argument for this to be the only way to access replays Updates to be "live" A slight delay between events happening and being available for you to use (time for the analyst team to get it sent to your tablet) If you want the game to stop whilst watching the highlights you'll need to pause the game On various highlights, it would probably need to change to full-match highlights in background, similar to tactics & subs screen Simple mock below, with selectors for panels & highlight type (if in highlight section), which then provides something akin to the old match reports. There would then be a filter for event type to allow you to look further. Dugout/Assistant Advice Add option to view dugout during highlights or in full-match highlights mode Add option to solicit advice from your assistants/coaches Improved feedback, for example: "Ollie Watkins has lost possession a lot. He appears to be quite isolated." (indicated by multiple occurrences of losing the ball with no players within 5 yards of him) "Jack Grealish has lost possession a lot. The opposition are restricting the space around him." (indicated by multiple occurrences of losing the ball with 3 or more players within 5 yards of him) Supplemented with an option to go to relevant highlights in touchline tablet Bring back assistant advice settings Another mock below. A simple indicator to show that the coach has something to say - clicking on the button will give you their advice, perhaps timestamped. Also an option for requesting advice, which could be more granular. For example, you could have a player with a poor rating, and ask the coach to provide insight as to why. There may be no advice ("nothing stands out, boss", or equivalent) or, depending on coach attributes, it might be a case of them not being observant. Instead of coaches listed, types of advice (tactical, defending, attacking, etc...) with which coach asked is based on staff responsibilities (and you might choose them all to be the same person).
