I'm sure I've missed this and I'm about to get shot down, but just so I can check...

The winners don't also count as semi-final/final picks do they?

So we're allowed 2 winners PLUS 3 players from semi-finals/finals?

Max 1 player per nation

Max 2 players who won the EURO

Max 3 more players who appeared in semi-finals or final

It's like Blatter's 6+5 rule. 6 mere participants, 3 semi-finalists that never won + 2 who won the thing.

I was hoping to sneak in a Srna pick somewhere in the middle rounds damn, guess it's nice to know that there are other appreciators of his skills out there though

Hoping it won’t come to that until at least pick 7-8 :(

I have a long list of over 100 names :D

Keeps getting shorter though

I think 2 hour slots would be pretty difficult for most people with work, different time zones etc. It’s only taking so long because there’s double the amount of people than in a usual draft :D

A problem is that people are actually active but they don't bother to pay attention that they may be up soon.

I'm not sure if @sjg11 will make any picks for example, he's been in this thread whilst he was up and also when he was one pick away. Should I have to wait 3 hours for example? If I'm not gonna be around, I will probably send a list to Gunman anyway, but the current rules place no obligation on me to care about the draft order.

I think notifying 3 people that their turn will be up is sufficient and they should come up with a list if they are online at the time. Four hours each means we'll have just 1/3 of the people picking every day and by the 5/6th rounds half the people will not even bother.

Have you played one of these before?
That’s normal :D

I don't understand people's eagerness to fly through the draft.

4 hours is fine. It's even quicker in this draft compared to others because everyone is picking 2 players at a time and therefore everyone has less turns than a normal draft.

And I thought that I maybe made the topic too early. :ackter:

Don't be harsh on yourself, you made this topic the day the Euro subforum was launched. The number of participants is the time killer but makes it more unpredictable :D

Rio Ferdinand (amazingly) never made a Euro's squad @sjg11

Not called up in 2000, drug ban in 2004, England didn't qualify in 2008 and he wasn't called up for "footballing reasons" in 2012 even though we all know it's because Roy wanted Terry.

Keegan didn't pick him in 2000, banned in 2004 for missing a drugs test, didn't qualify in 2008, and left out by Hodgson in 2012 as he was getting old and slowing down... brutal.

For the 1st time in draft history, it was definitely better to be lower down the order :D :(

Oh definitely.

Having 3 picks in is an advantage.

Yeah, leave it to the end and then call Gunman a bellend for not keeping on top of his draft.

Go away, this is a proper draft with top tier organization.
Until shambles happen, don't post here.

Btw, I'm not home tonight so when Citizen Kane's 4h are up, Haguey can do the honours.
