FourFourTwo
been a while since i played the game and it seems the learning o education technology has advanced through video content creators using football manage as their foundation. which one do you follow so i can hook them up for a quicker more efficient learning curve to get back at the game...back then it was so dependent on these forums and boy, some of the contributors were so passionate, ever so eager to assist with their own experience and ideas beyond going out of their way to help... ive check out football manager content creators and its great there are a lot of them but there lies the problem too hence this topic, which one? the fundamentals im look at is, value for money players, training and tactics...thinking of managing a team that is estimated to finish bottom of the english premier league, classical football manager battle with frustration right there...thanks in advance for any given advice

michaeldawson75
Not a massive fan of any to be honest, Rashidi is probably the best. He certainly knows how to play the game, but struggles to communicate his ideas. Zealander is style over substance, and I sometimes find myself questioning how accurate some of his assertions are or why he made certain decisions. I'd agree that Rashidi knows more than anyone, but moves from point to point very quickly and often at tangents - his videos are good though if you can follow them. His written work is excellent, however. Zealand I watch less for tactics and more for the peripheral stuff - maximising transfer negotiations, scouting, morale, stuff like that. Also, his quality of video is excellent, so I also watch them for entertainment purposes.

MessiMessiMessi
Zealand is the worst, look at his streams he's shouting and praying for 5 minutes at a video game. Unbearable. BustTheNet is the goat, i don't know if English isn't your first language or why you don't understand him?
johnnyyakuza78
Zealand’s videos are entertaining but I find myself skipping to the bits where actual information is contained instead of him making jokes Bustthenet should be great, there is a deep level of knowledge there. Unfortunately I find Rashidi very rambling, and really struggle to pull apart the thread of what he’s trying to say. I’ve found that an issue with all his content for years. I like the guy but I don’t think he is very good at communicating his ideas in a simple coherent way, instead he tends to jump across topics and start talking about the thing that comes into his head next. Maybe it’s one of those things where he needs to just script everything. I watch tutorials and YouTube videos for lots of other games and there are some fantastic creators out there who I think FM creators could learn a lot from
samwilzrhcp
In all honesty I love listening to Miles. He did a live stream with Lollujo I think it was & he went into detail about tactics, it helps that he’s got a soothing voice that you could listen to for hours! Al Bundy
I don't agree about Zealand, he is funny and puts a lot of useful information. Especially for beginners.
