Ayal
Goal-line technology seems a bit lackluster in FM21. There are old FM19 old screenshots that show a proper view of GLT (here) that shows a close-up top-down view of the goal-line. At the moment in FM21 there's only view which doesn't actually show if the ball has crossed the line or not (seen here in Dave Azzopardi's video: https://youtu.be/47cR55YF2Oo?t=446). On top of that, the crossbar and goal posts dissappear for some reason during the replay. Shouldn't they remain during the entire replay unless the camera does indeed need to do a close-up top-down shot which it doesn't at the moment.
Robbie Hood
Totally agree with this. I can not understand why they would want this in the game the way it is now....The whole point of goal-line technology is to see 100% if the ball has crossed the line or not. It`s like showing close offside calls but only from a camera at the middle of the pitch. Hopefully this version of a non-working goal-line technology is upgraded or not included in fm22. SI Staff Michael Sant Posted December 6, 2021 SI Staff Share Posted December 6, 2021 There have been some changes with things in FM22 and so it would be good to hear if you have feedback or thoughts on the series moving forward. We'll consider this thread to have been reviewed based upon the time you made it but of course that doesn't prevent any additional requests in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
