Guy Bar Posted October 31, 2021 Share Posted October 31, 2021 In one of my saves in FM20 my club’s president, who has been in the position since 1992 and loves the club, has left the club in my second season for a takeover. I think that it’s really not realistic especially since I won the league title the season before and the financial situation has never been better. Now, I don’t know if it has been improved in FM21/FM22, but if it hasn’t, for FM23 I think it would be nicer if board takeovers happened far less often when the club is successful and the owner loves the club. SI Staff Michael Sant Posted December 6, 2021 SI Staff Share Posted December 6, 2021 Owners leaving clubs is something that can be guided from a data perspective so we would typically suggest raising issues like this with our data team. Keep in mind however, that at a certain point the game does have to retire ageing owners so if the person is in their 70's or 80's then the chances of them effectively retiring are quite considerable.
