shaunvamos
2022 Preseason Transfers (In) Made a whole host of additions this season, due to our wage budget being doubled. I managed to get virtually an entire team of players as their contracts expired, and then used the extra money to snag some loans. We have an entirely new look squad, and one that is far stronger than what we had last season. I just hope they can gel quickly. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Bamba is Angolan/Swiss and therefore qualifies. Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder Central Midfielder Strikers Transfers (Out) One player leaves along with about 12 releases. An unbeaten preseason, but it was against lesser opposition. Still predicted quite low, but the odds are a lot closer.
shaunvamos
July 2022 What started off well then capitulated, as our lack of depth was found out against Viktoria.
shaunvamos
August 2022 We've had about 5 or 6 players recalled from loan which is frustrating, even though they're playing in the right position but a different role Transfers (In) Witek was recalled, so we took him back in the role he'll be playing in. Vujinovic is also someone playing in a correct role.
shaunvamos
September 2022 A terrible month, as we lose another loanee due to not being used correctly.

shaunvamos
January 2023 It's gone from bad to worse, our lack of depth is really showing. shaunvamos
2023 Youth Intake Tobias Spiegel 2A - Dardan Caca 2B - Erik Schützeneder 2C A strong intake, but it remains to be seen if any of them will make the cut. Cool to see all the new nationalities though, Kosovo has appeared more than I would expect it to.
shaunvamos
March 2023 One of each, and the win against Magdeburg shows how good we can be, but also how inconsistent we've been.
shaunvamos
April 2023 As if to prove my point about our inconsistency, we beat the top team in the league before losing heavily to a team that is now relegated. We've avoided relegation again, but we've done worse than last season despite having a better first XI on paper. The depth has got to be there when I make my signings next season. shaunvamos
A good ending to the season, but I was already thinking about next season as soon as survival was secured. shaunvamos
2023 Preseason Brought in a few players as their contracts were expiring, as well as a loan that I hope will not result in another recall. The options for bringing players in were limited as the board have slashed the wage budget in an attempt to stop the financial bleeding. Centre Back Xavier is a huge pickup for us, as he is a former Barcelona and Chelsea youth player. Their loss is our gain, and I hope he has a good season. Right Wing Back Mateusz slots straight into the RWB position, moving from Ekstraklassa cellar dwellers Lodz. Central Midfielder One half of the middle is exciting prospect Stensgaard, who looks particularly strong, and at only 17 has plenty of growing to do. Striker Tattevin comes back for a second stint that will hopefully last longer than the first one. We didn't play anyone of note, but going unbeaten is always nice. Still predicted last of the non reserve teams. Hopefully we can prove them wrong. Edited February 8, 2022 by shaunvamos
shaunvamos
July/August 2023 A very mixed start, and one I was hoping we would avoid. It was always going to be tough having Bayern II and Dortmund II in the first 4 games. Hopefully we can turn it around. Transfers (In) Paulet is going to play RWB, he's far better than Bakowicz. shaunvamos
September 2023 A sandwich of two losses between two wins, and we're already losing touch with the teams above. shaunvamos
October 2023 Another sandwich, but a better one as we get important wins that puts us within range of a top half spot.

shaunvamos
December 2023 We do quite well with a tough draw, and we're still within reach of a top half spot. A third straight strong intake preview, but again I won't expect too much.
shaunvamos
January 2024 A strong month, and we're up two spots to 12th. Transfers (Out) We lose a youth product that wasn't really doing anything despite his high tag.
shaunvamos
February 2024 We keep our good form up, knocking Duisburg off top spot, before new top team Kaiserslautern pummelled us. But we've moved into the top half, and I'm hoping momentum can move us further up.
shaunvamos
2024 Youth Intake Tevfik Mutlu 3A - Hacı Usta 3B - Michael Denker 3C Not as strong as the previous two intakes, but there's still 7 players worth bringing in.
shaunvamos
March 2024 We've caught a rhythm, and we've somehow jumped to 4th, two wins away from a promotion playoff spot. We have 7 games to go, but St Pauli are in great form, as well as us.
shaunvamos
April 2024 The dream run continues, and we would've been perfect if not for a 92nd minute equaliser against Viktoria Koln. We've made up some ground against St Pauli, and now need them to slip up in order to pass them. Two of our last three games are at home, and are against lower half teams Osnabruck and Energie Cottbus. Our second last game? Away to St Pauli. Meanwhile, they have two away games against 8th place Waldhof Mannheim and top team Duisburg. It's all set up for an incredible finish!
shaunvamos
Well, I didn't think was possible heading into the second half of the year, but it's happened. We are into the 2. Bundesliga for next season. Our win at St Pauli was the final nail in the coffin for their manager, who got the sack after he failed to get them back up. We held on for dear life against Rostock, and we're now going to reap the financial rewards of being in the second division. Our wage budget has taken a massive jump, with around 120k a month to spend on new transfers. shaunvamos
Preseason 2024 A pretty active transfer window, which is to be expected given our promotion and new found wage space. Mbuyamba was sold under my nose as the offer was "too good to refuse", but he was getting replaced anyway so the money was a welcome bonus. Paulet was unhappy as soon as he was brought in, and was injury prone so I was more than happy to move him on. There will be a replacement for him in the near future. Centre Back Arabat was a player I think I brought in during my time in Spain, so it's nice to see him helping me in another country. Clinton is someone who's bounced around some good clubs, but hasn't really featured. He gets a chance to show what he can do with us. Defensive Midfielder Appearing for us in the 22/23 season, Jakub is back on loan to run things from behind the midfield. Central Midfielder I initially wanted to bring in Marcin on loan, but apparently we have major issues with the staff at Lodz and they wouldn't let me do it. So I matched his release clause and they had no choice but to let him come to me. He's set for a big season, and he already has U21 caps! Strikers A new look pairing up front with Dutchman Thijme and half Polish Lucio. Plenty of pace and a decent Holy Trinity for this level. Another unbeaten season, but worryingly the only decent opposition we come against we draw with. Clearly we don't belong here. Or so the bookies think. shaunvamos
July/August 2024 We won our first game, before expected results resumed and we haven't won since. But we've performed really well. Transfers (In) Replacing the outgoing Simon Paulet at RWB is fellow Belgian Jay-Dee Geussens, signed from Belgian top flight side Charleroi. shaunvamos
September 2024 An astonishingly good month, defeating then-top Fortuna Dusseldorf in Dusseldorf, before beating Duisburg with a depleted 2nd team in a quick turnaround and then rescuing it late against Kaiserslautern. I'm not expecting this kind of form to last, as injuries can and will expose our depth problems, but I'm enjoying it while I can.
shaunvamos
October 2024 It looks like we may have come crashing down to earth, but we kept it close against 3 of the top 4, and drew with the team on top.

shaunvamos
February 2025 I thought the loss to Nuremberg was going to take the wind out of sails, but we smashed Darmstadt and then absolutely destroyed Heidenheim in a performance I was not expecting. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This second half form we seem to pick up is insane.
shaunvamos
2025 Youth Intake Andrew Lomeli 4A* - Roy Altrock 4B - Niclas Todt 4C A pretty disappointing intake, in terms of the fact that the hype from the preview is nothing near what we got.

shaunvamos
A wildly successful first season in the Bundesliga 2, but with that now comes the expectations to match or better our finish. shaunvamos
2025 Preseason Thanks to the substantial prizemoney the 2. Bundesliga grants, we were able to spend some money when bringing in new players. The guys we've brought in are extremely young, but ability wise they're more than capable of doing the job. I'm excited to see how they'll develop this season. As for the player leaving, we just can't say no to an offer like that from a club like Feyenoord. We have a 40% of the next sale when he moves, and at present he has an upper value of 6.6m. Centre Backs A new look backline, all under 20, and all with space to grow. We're still a selling club, and I expect to make profit on these guys. Left Wing Back Blazek is a born and bred LWB, a rarity which means there is no extra time needed to adapt. Defensive Midfielder Atef is a bit of a steal, coming from a club like Auxerre, but he needs time to adapt to DM. Central Midfielder Yanick is another player set to make us huge money, with several U21 caps already for Switzerland. Striker The young Austrian will try his hand at striker despite having no finishing skills, but I'm hoping his other attributes will make up for it. It's hard to read too much into these results, as most of our team wasn't signed by this point. We aren't predicted last which is a relief, but our odds are still quite long. shaunvamos
January 2026 A beautiful start, and we've opened up a 5 point lead on top. Transfers (Out) Youth product with no potential leaves before his contract expires.

shaunvamos
2026 Youth Intake Jozef Nagy 5A - Nico Dorneth 5B* - Noel Schock 5C Can't help but feel a little disappointed here. shaunvamos
April 2026 Our aim to completely bottle this continues against teams not in the relegation zone, as we blow a 2-0 lead at home to Furth after a 90th minute equaliser. To finish, we have 5th placed Dresden at Dresden, 2nd placed Regensburg at home, and 3rd placed Fortuna in Dusseldorf. You couldn't have asked for a worse run home when fighting for promotion. The bright side is we probably have secured at least a playoff spot.
