shaunvamos
April 2022 Some results go our way, and we've snuck into 2nd and therefore a promotion spot. Can we hold on with 4 games to go?
shaunvamos
May 2022 Topped the group and we are promoted There's still one more match to go, the final against the 1st placed team from the other group. It's pretty pointless, but to be promoted as champions of the 4th division has a nice ring to it.

shaunvamos
2022 Preseason Cleared out pretty much the entire team to build for the Portuguese division, and went to town on the transfer market, signing basically a first team and reserve team in the one go. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Wing Backs Central Midfielders Strikers A strong preseason against inferior opposition. Hard to know what to make at this point. The Portuguese third division is split into 2 groups of 12, and we have a tough group with Porto, Braga and Vitoria Guimaraes having their B teams in it. We're predicted quite low, but before the signings we were predicted last with much higher odds. I just want to consolidate our position here.

shaunvamos
September 2022 Tough going in the league as we play two B teams, but we've been outstanding in the cup, defeating 2nd division side Caldas and top tier team Gil Vicente! If only we could translate that form to the league. National Team An excellent win against 107th ranked Kyrgyzstan.
shaunvamos
October 2022 Slowly rediscovering our form in the league, but the big story is the win over Tondela in the cup, another top division side.
shaunvamos
November 2022 We're edging closer to being competitive with the top four as we enter the return legs of the regular season.
shaunvamos
December 2022 We are on our way up the table, as everyone in the first XI is now comfortable in their playing position. A poor preview, but we aren't relying on our academy just yet. World Cup 2022 This was one weird World Cup, with Argentina, Croatia, Colombia, Mexico, Portugal, and USA failing to qualify for the knockout stages, while nations such as Australia (who somehow won all their games), Hungary and South Korea did. It got even weirder, as Poland ended up winning the whole thing!
shaunvamos
January 2023 Finally out of the cup, but not before giving Sporting Lisbon a bit of a scare in the quarter finals, and we are now within striking distance of the top 4.
shaunvamos
February 2023 We forced our way into the top briefly before Canelas smashed us. With one game to go, we have a chance to seal a spot in the promotion group. We just have to beat Varzim at home, or failing that, hope we draw and results go our way elsewhere. shaunvamos
March 2023 We've qualified for the Promotion Groups, and we got off to a good start as well. The top team in each group (there are two) gain promotion to the Portuguese second division, and the second placed teams play off to qualify for another playoff against the lowest unrelegated team in the second division. Pretty confusing, but I'll get there. National Team An excellent win over 107th ranked North Korea before we do the job over two legs against Sri Lanka, a team ranked lower than us for once. We now qualify for the 2nd Round of FIFA World Cup qualifying. It's a group that could've been a lot worse, but I like our chances against Yemen and Turkmenistan. Qatar is almost certainly winning this group, and we could push Vietnam. But we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, friendly results are nothing compared to competitive games. shaunvamos
2023 Youth Intake Afonso Vasconcelos 2A Our intake is extremely terrible, but we're playing the long game with the youth here. shaunvamos
We stormed through the promotion group, earning promotion, and were even crowned champions! shaunvamos
Preseason 2023 Two guys that didn't feature in our plans leave for clubs that are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things Another splurge in the transfer market as we attempt to not be outclassed in the Portuguese second division. We're still a semi-pro club so it will be difficult, but we'll do our best. Goalkeeper Centre Backs Right Wing Back Defensive Midfielder Central Midfielders Strikers A short preseason, but a strong one. As I said, I'm hoping to not get outclassed, but odds seem to indicate we will.
shaunvamos
August 2023 We had a great start, but then Estrela Amadora brought us back to earth with a crash. Still, it's encouraging so far. National Team Forgot to include this earlier, but the loss to Macau is worrying ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.
shaunvamos
September 2023 If you had told me that 6 games into our second tier debut we would be top on our own, I would've laughed at you. After two consecutive promotions, mind you. But here we are. National Team We get off to a good start in the World Cup qualifiers, and have continued our upward trajectory in the rankings as a result.
shaunvamos
October 2023 Reality is beginning to set in in the league, as we drop two top fixtures and move down to 5th. At least we're still in the cup. National Team A gruelling travel intensive month for the national team, but we leave Ashgabat with the draw and only lose 3-0 in Qatar. shaunvamos
November 2023 Mixed fortunes this month, but we're still in touch with the promotion spots. shaunvamos
December 2023 All of a sudden we've hit consistency, and we're joint top of the league with a game in hand. Poor, but not for long. shaunvamos
Three seasons, three promotions We're all set to turn pro for next season, and have a huge increase to the transfer and wage budget. shaunvamos
Preseason 2024 Another busy transfer window in our quest for survival, and for the first time I think in Portugal all the new players won't feature in the first team. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder Central Midfielders Defeat to Benfica B aside, we beat two top division sides in the League Cup which is very encouraging. shaunvamos
November 2024 Mixed, but an important win in the league. National Team We get off to a great start in the AFF Cup, in a group we can definitely qualify from. Speaking of qualifying, if we finish top 2 in this group we go to the Asian Cup. It's certainly possible, as we avoid the traditional powerhouses.
shaunvamos
December 2024 An excellent month, where the only game we lost was in the League Cup, and we actually have a shot at the top 6 if we win our games in hand! We'll wait and see what we get from here, but I'm not expecting much. National Team Look, Thailand are way to good for us, and we did better against them than Singapore did. I'm still happy with the semi final spot, and we're now up to 176th in the world. Nobel - Dom Braz - Georgino Mendonça Where the Best XI are Playing East Timor (18): Benfica Laulara (8), Assalam (3), Karketu Dili (3), Lalenok Utd (2), Atletico Ultramar (1), Boavista (TLS) (1) Benfica Laulara still dominate the side, despite finishing out of the top 3 this season. shaunvamos
February 2025 Estoril give us a rude awakening and jump above us, and it looks to be a tough fight for the last two spots in the top 6.

shaunvamos
April 2025 A brutal run of games, but we still have a shot at the top 6. shaunvamos
We scrape into 6th place and a Conference League spot, but only because everything went our way on the final match day. It definitely helped that Vitoria and Feirense were playing Sporting and Braga respectively, but we also had to win. In our debut season in the top flight we already have European qualification Cracking the top 4 will be tough though. shaunvamos
2025 Preseason Ten players join us, and most of them will have first team roles. Goalkeeper Central Defender Wing Backs Defensive Midfield Central Midfielders Striker We just weren't prepared for Elfsborg in terms of match sharpness, as they're about three quarters through their season while we're barely starting ours. shaunvamos
January 2026 Southampton met Paulo's release clause, so off to the Premier League he goes. shaunvamos
February 2026 A tough month against strong teams, and Benfica remind us how much more ground we need to cover to even get close to them.
