shaunvamos
February 2032 We're a win away from the top 6, but it remains to be seen if we'll be able to get there. We get past Marseille, and are rewarded with a more difficult challenge in Lyon.
shaunvamos
2032 Youth Intake Filipe Bondoso 11A* - Daniel Kasungu 11B - Tiago Guerreiro 11C* Another very strong looking intake, with 5 players probably considered promising by the game once they join. shaunvamos
March 2032 Finally drawn level with Famalicao! An excellent 2 leg performance against Lyon sees us achieve a club best quarter final appearance, where we'll face Everton, who are currently 11th in the Premier League. National Team A loss to Holland in a friendly, but there was some heavy rotation.
shaunvamos
April 2032 Losses to Benfica and Boavista move us 4 points away from 6th. We may miss out on Europe for the first time in 7 seasons. Everton also demonstrated superior quality as we were swiftly eliminated from the Europa League. National Team We have a tough group in the form of Italy, but 2nd place should be easily achievable. We also have our work cut out to repeat the Euro League semi final appearance, as we'll have to get through France.
shaunvamos
We scrape into the Conference League on the final day, a massive sigh of relief. Best XI Iván Ortiz - André Dias - William Felipe Record Breakers Award Winners Progress
shaunvamos
Euro 2032 Review We managed to beat Italy and topped the group! Not too many surprises here, except maybe Israel qualifying at Croatia's expense. Bulgaria also were flogged 8-1 by Scotland and 5-1 by Belgium. A semi final spot is a fantastic achievement, and we were quite unlucky to lose to England on penalties. But at least we beat Spain.
shaunvamos
2032 Preseason Even though we have more money to spend on transfers we were still able to find some bargains and some immediate contributors. Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder Struggled through our Conference League qualifiers, but we survive for now. Top 4, the expectations are finally on par with my own. shaunvamos
August 2032 It's been a decent start so far. I expect to breeze through our group. There are some pretty cool teams too from Lithuania and Latvia, just to name a few.
shaunvamos
September 2032 An unbeaten month, we can go top of the league if we win our games in hand, and we get off to a flyer in the Conference League. shaunvamos
October 2032 We beat Porto for first time in 19 attempts! National Team We've beaten France, so it's in our hands to make the semis.
shaunvamos
November 2032 The unbeaten run continues, and we're safely through to the Conference League knockouts. shaunvamos
December 2032 The back end of the month saw some fixture congestion and our depth was exposed. That being said, we seem to be a comfortable 3rd at this stage. Another excellent preview. National Team A relatively easy WCQ group, with only Croatia having the potential to trouble us in my opinion.
shaunvamos
January 2033 Transfers (Out) We sell our starting striker back to Brazil for 4.5m more than we bought him for, and Vermudt had his release clause met by Villarreal so off he goes for 3.4m profit. Transfers (In) Initially brought in as Mauricio's replacement, he is an excellent mezzala so he's been slotted into there. Another extremely busy month as we catch up on all of our games in hand, and we're comfortably top 3 at this point.
shaunvamos
February 2033 A win and a loss, and we're 8 points clear of 4th.
shaunvamos
2033 Youth Intake João Santos 12A* - Aristote Andre 12B - Nuno Pereira 12C* João Santos 12A* is quite possibly the best player I've ever had come through an intake. He's already rated 79 as an AF, which is enough for him to start for the first team. Due to registration he can't play in the league, but I might include him in the continental games and see how he goes. Not detracting from the overall quality of the intake though, as everyone except one will be signed.
shaunvamos
March 2033 We still have a decent gap to 4th. After defeating one Dutch team, we now face Feyenoord for a spot in the last 4, a team we have never not defeated. National Team We get off to a dominating start in the WCQ. shaunvamos
April 2033 We're back in the Champions League next season We also have a chance to make the Conference League final after new youth product João Santos 12A* scored a hattrick against Feyenoord, breaking the club's youngest scorer record as a result.
shaunvamos
Incredibly positive signs at the end of the season with a thumping win over Benfica, and we are robbed of our maiden European title by an 88th minute goal by a 36 year old before going on to lose 7-6 on penalties. Painful, but positive. Best XI Iván Ortiz - William Felipe - Javi Record Breakers Award Winners Progress
shaunvamos
2033 Preseason No Champions League last season meant we were operating with about half the transfer budget we had for this season. Only the loanee from Benfica will feature in the first team, with the others hoping to develop into fringe players. Central Midfielder About as perfect a preseason as we could've asked for. Predicted a clear 4th, but I want at least 3rd again. National Team Portugal were absolutely dominant in June, winning the Nations League with ease and moving us up to 4th in the world
shaunvamos
August 2033 We haven't beaten Famalicao in 2 years, so why would we change that now? On a more positive note we're back into the Champions League groups. Chelsea will be a step too far, and probably Dortmund as well, but I fully expect to beat Bohemians. Nice to see Larne of Northern Ireland qualify, and Benfica and Porto can potentially qualify from their group. Transfers (Out) Our backup Libero leaves for a tidy profit, and our new purchase from Morocco steps up in his place.
shaunvamos
September 2033 If we win our games in hand we go top 6, so it's not as bad as it looks. We also draw Dortmund and Chelsea in two huge results. National Team The winning streak continues, and qualification looms.
shaunvamos
October 2033 We're back into the top 6, and we hold a slim lead over Dortmund in the final knockout spot. shaunvamos
November 2033 The win over Sporting was really crucial, and we need a win at home against Dortmund to progress to the knockouts. Even if we don't get the result we want we're in the Europa knockouts. National Team World Cup participation secured but Croatia won't be happy missing out. shaunvamos
December 2033 It looks like we'll be fighting it out with Sporting and Porto for the Champions League spots. We get a terrible draw, but Liverpool haven't made the final for 10 years. It's good to see Porto and Benfica both progressing, and they definitely have winnable ties. Another strong preview. National Team We get a group we can definitely qualify from, and there are some interesting teams here with some notable omissions. Just take a look at these African qualifying groups: Then there's this one: Some definite corruption somewhere

shaunvamos
March 2034 With 6 games to go we still have a sizeable lead over Sporting, but could have been easier if we didn't lose those two games. We did the unthinkable and held on to beat Liverpool, and now we have an even tougher task in Real Madrid. National Team Easy friendly wins.
shaunvamos
April 2034 Champions League qualifying secured, and although we lost to Real Madrid in the quarter finals we did really well, and the money we're getting from it is going to fuel our transfer efforts next season. shaunvamos
2034 World Cup Squad Goalkeepers Central Defenders Wing Backs Defensive Midfielders Central Midfielders Strikers It's a squad that has the same average age as the World Cup, influenced as such because I refuse to pick anyone 34 and over to try and simulate some realism that FM may have gotten wrong based on my experience with France, where everyone in the squad was pretty much over 33. Experience wise we are below average in terms of caps, but I believe we have the ability to at least reach the quarter finals as we usher in the new generation of talent. Proposed Best XI It's a damn strong XI, and the ages are ideal. Special mention to LWB Traore, who has been in the senior setup since he was 18. Who Produced the Players? Portugal (21): Benfica (7), Sporting CP (4), Porto (3), Vitória de Guimarães (2), Boavista (1), Braga (1), Famalicão (1), Feirense (1), Paços de Ferreira (1). Brazil (2): Fluminense (1), Santos (1). shaunvamos
2034 World Cup Warm Up Matches A baffling loss to Ecuador, but then we absolutely smash Venezuela to head into the group games with some optimism. Group Stage We are less than convincing in the group stage, but we get through unscathed. No real upsets here, except maybe Australia knocking Colombia out. Saudi Arabia top their group in a surprising performance, but that's the only notable result here. Bosnia top a group that pretty much every team would want to play against in the knockouts. Mexico joins Colombia as the biggest eliminations in the group stage. Second Round We dominate Ukraine, but only have 1 goal to show for it. In other notable results, Denmark knock out hosts Japan, France bow out to Ireland and Romania beat Uruguay. Third Round We've hit our pre tournament target of reaching the last 8, but we were made to work harder than we should against the United States. We next play Brazil, who needed extra time to beat Chile. No real upsets here, but Belgium and Italy are out. Quarter Finals We finally discover how to score again, but needed extra time to beat Brazil in the game of the tournament so far. We now play Spain for a spot in the World Cup final. Semi Finals An 89th minute penalty knocks us out, while Germany flog Argentina. Third Place Playoff A loss to the defending champions, but 4th is still nice. Final Germany never looked like losing this tournament, running the gauntlet of Italy, England, Argentina and then Spain pretty comfortably. Two hattricks ensure that Goncalo Ramos wins Golden Boot, Best Player and a spot in the Dream Team in what will more than likely be his final international tournament. I may consider raising the max age to 35 though, but we'll see. Edited May 23, 2022 by shaunvamos
shaunvamos
2034 Preseason We spent a lot of money on players unlikely to feature for us on a regular basis at this stage, but at least we made a decent profit on Manuel Jesus Ruiz. Central Midfielder A very depleted side lost to Konyaspor after our Super Cup loss to Benfica, but we stormed back to destroy them at home, which is very encouraging. Edging ever closer to the top 3. shaunvamos
August 2034 It's been a perfect start to the league, and we're safely through to the Champions League groups again. None of these groups are easy, but we should be a clear 3rd at least. Porto and Benfica both get terrible draws, as the Europa League knockouts become a very real possibility. shaunvamos
September 2034 Gaston Sanchez was in an absolute mood this month, with 8 goals including a hattrick against Leicester which sends a strong message in the competition early on. National Team A good start to the group, but the big matches against Italy loom.
shaunvamos
October 2034 We beat Benfica which is awesome for our league aspirations, but our cup defence falls early with a loss to a non-league side. Haaland continues to be a pain wherever I go as he bangs in a hattrick for PSG, but we're currently 2nd in the league. National Team Two great results, and a semi final spot beckons. shaunvamos
November 2034 We lose our first game in the league, funnily enough by the same scoreline we lose to PSG. shaunvamos
December 2034 We end the year joint top with Benfica, and at present it looks to be a two horse race. We also scrape into the Champions League knockouts! Inter is definitely not the worst team for us to play, even if they haven't finished below 3rd the entire save. It'll be interesting to see how good these guys will be. Edited May 23, 2022 by shaunvamos
shaunvamos
January 2035 We've pulled ahead and now have a 6 point lead Transfers (Out) After 124 games and 64 goals, Carlos Garcia leaves us and we make a nice profit on him.
shaunvamos
February 2035 After a slow start we pick things up, and the lead can blow out to 10 points after Benfica's capitulation. shaunvamos
March 2035 A win and a loss in the league, but we can still extend the lead to 10 points. zethani
Your average rating is edging closer to the 80s, which is definitely Champions Leagu winner material, at least judging by the previous campaigns. shaunvamos
April 2035 We're so close to a maiden Portuguese league title we can taste it. 3 games left, 7 points ahead. Unless something goes horribly wrong, it's ours. We scrape past Sociedad on penalties, and we have a semi final date with Liverpool. We did beat them in the round of 16 last season, but the pressure of the occasion might be too much this time around.

Yes, I don't think we're too far away, but I think we need to change our recruitment policy from depth to strengthening the first team if we are to make that final step. shaunvamos
2035 Preseason No, we didn't really spend 52m on a player. I just bet heavily against the future success of the club by paying Angers 40m over the course of the next 3 years. We're at the stage of the save where we need to win now and rely on the academy to produce suitable backups. Right Wing Back Central Midfielder A short preseason, and we lose the Super Cup but I don't really care too much about that. Still predicted 4th, but I think we can win it again. shaunvamos
August 2035 Our strikers are firing early, scoring 13 of our 15 goals so far. A ridiculously tough group, but I think we can manage 2nd over Monaco. Porto get a silly draw and can probably only hope for 3rd place. National Team Forgot to mention this, but we've defended our Nations League title, defeating world champs Germany in the final.
