shaunvamos
2028 Preseason Transfers (Out) We move on some youth players who wouldn't make the grade, so we've turned a decent profit already. Transfers (In) A couple of familiar faces here, as Kapralik returns to the club for less than what we sold him for, and we also got money back as part of a sellon Oswald also joins permanently after a loan spell a few seasons ago, we lost out to Mainz on buying him last season but we have him now. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder https://gyazo.com/6f8d4663e8470f6829eda08e2b4629ff Central Midfielders Strikers A lot of green here, and the 10-0 win in the cup is a particular highlight. Predicted 4th now, let's see what we can do!
shaunvamos
August 2028 Transfers (Out) We lose a few players I didn't want to lose due to release clauses being met, as a starting CB, WB and ST leave. It's annoying, but we do get money and our transfer policy means players can just step in and replace them. It's a little comforting to note that we made 4.5m profit on it, but they will be missed. We get off to a strong start in the league, but with our departures we'll see how long that lasts. It's not the worst group we could've received, we can definitely beat Basel. Salzburg could push for the Europa League as well.
shaunvamos
September 2028 We blow a 2 goal lead against Liverpool, give Wolfsberger their only points so far and then Basel smash us. It wasn't a good month. National Team On a more positive note, my first two games in charge of Austria went well, with 10 uncapped players named in the squad we beat Croatia and held Spain close.
shaunvamos
October 2028 Just the losses to RB and Lyon, and we're solidly in the top 3 of the league. National Team We've beaten Croatia twice but we're still not out of danger.
shaunvamos
November 2028 The league has righted itself, and we sit outright 2nd. In the Champions League two home wins have sent us 3rd, with one game to go. I keep forgetting that the Swiss league is loaded and Basel are a lot stronger as a result. National Team We survive. shaunvamos
December 2028 We head into the winter break tied at the top with Salzburg, and we're playing knockout continental football as Lyon beats Basel. I think we can scrape past PSV, and Salzburg should beat Frankfurt as well. Excellent, you say?
shaunvamos
Winter Break/February 2029 Transfers (Out) Just loans. We're out of the cup and out of top spot, but players needed to be rested for the Europa League. There are no easy teams from here, and Sevilla is no different. shaunvamos
2029 Youth Intake Alexander Figge 8A - Till Meier 8B - Axel Wenzel 8C Damn, not really that great.
shaunvamos
March 2029 A quiet month with only 2 league games, and it's back to being really close for the title between the top 3. We got past Sevilla after an excellent home performance, and we get Nice. We've beaten Lyon, arguably a stronger team, so who knows? National Team We get wins against the two weaker teams in the group, but Serbia look like the team to beat, flogging Azerbaijan 12-0.
shaunvamos
April 2029 Well, I think we can wave goodbye to the title this season. Salzburg just had our number in a big way.
shaunvamos
An unbeaten end to the season, and a Champions League group spot is secured for another season. shaunvamos
2029 Preseason Transfers (Out) A lot of players left for free this window, but despite that we made a small profit of 1.2m. The loss of Lovergine stings a little, but due to our routine buying there's a replacement ready to step up. Transfers (In) Only Vesely and Sedlacek are good enough to start at this stage, but Hutka, Grahl and Vassallo will all have bench roles. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder Central Midfielders Strikers A short preseason, but still strong. Predicted 3rd now, but the media experts think it's Red Bull's to lose.
shaunvamos
August 2029 Transfers (Out) In one transfer window, we've lost our first, second AND third choice keeper. Luckily our 4th choice one is till pretty good Off these sales we've made a cool 5.4m and 6.6m overall this window. Our start has been excellent, and we need to be able to keep this up. Why? This is why. A shockingly difficult group, we'll be lucky to get a point At least Salzburg could get 3rd. National Team Two nervy wins see us on top for now. shaunvamos
September 2029 Sturm Graz end our unbeaten start in the league, and Juventus crush us in something I'm expecting every game to go that way. National Team Luka Resichl scored every single goal for us this window as we hold onto top spot.
shaunvamos
October 2029 A loss to Ried knocks us off top spot, but we've had a good run in Europe and we're second at the halfway point. National Team More wins, and I think qualification is all but secured even if we lose to Serbia.
shaunvamos
November 2029 Strong in the league, and we have a slim chance at getting into the Europa League. National Team We're going to the World Cup
shaunvamos
December 2029 3 wins in the league and we're back on top, and we're also through to the Europa knockouts again against all my expectations. Benfica was tough, but fingers crossed.
shaunvamos
Winter Break/February 2030 Transfers (Out) We get through the month undefeated, including two great performances over Benfica. shaunvamos
2030 Youth Intake Senid Djedovic 9A - Martin Droste 9B* - Paul Busche 9C The HOYD downgraded our intake down to average from excellent, and he's right.
shaunvamos
March 2030 It's the time of year where our progress is halved, and it turns into a shootout with Salzburg. We ease past Bilbao, which puts us against 6th placed Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, who got past Chelsea in the previous round. Not sure how to feel about that. On a more positive note, Salzburg also make the last 8 but will likely get flattened by Barcelona. National Team Some friendlies to keep the national team active. shaunvamos
April 2030 We are doing our absolute best to bottle this. It all comes down to a home and away set against Salzburg in our final 2 matches.

shaunvamos
Austria's 2030 World Cup Campaign Second Round So this happened. More than double the xG against the number 2 nation in the world too! Do we dare to dream? Or will this exhaust us? Apart from Brazil, France and and Holland are the biggest casualties in this round. Prediction Efficiency: 13/16 (81.25%), 41/64 (64.06%) overall. We've beaten Serbia in our qualifiers, so I'm much more optimistic about our chances than the Brazil game. shaunvamos
Austria's 2030 World Cup Campaign Third Round It ends here But still, it should've ended against Brazil so no disappointment at all. shaunvamos
2030 Preseason Transfers (Out) A transfer window that's produced 10.6m in profit, we say goodbye to St Polten centurions Clarino (106) and Yeboah (120), as well as starting CM Blechschmidt returning home after Schalke met his release clause. Transfers (In) We had our biggest transfer budget to date, but nobody here is good enough to start immediately. Only Noah, Omodu and the returning Gencturk will appear on the bench, and the rest with likely be sent on loans for development. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder Central Midfielders Strikers Predicted top 3 again, but I really want to end Salzburg's hopes a lot earlier this season. shaunvamos
August 2030 Transfers (Out) The only big loss here is starting CB Hutka, as we make an overall loss of 575k on these transfers. But overall the profit was 10m+, so all in all pretty successful. A strong start, and we have the early edge as Salzburg drop points. Even as first seeds we get a ridiculous group
shaunvamos
September 2030 It's advantage St Polten with a win over Salzburg, and the Champions League gets off to an awful start. shaunvamos
October 2030 A few injuries and unavailability lead to two straight losses, but we still stay top. shaunvamos
November 2030 An annoying loss to Klagenfurt closes the gap to Salzburg, and our final game against Sociedad decides where we finish in our group. shaunvamos
December 2030 We head into the winter break with a super slim lead. We got a win over Sociedad, and now we play Benfica again, who we beat comfortably last Europa League.
shaunvamos
Winter Break/February 2031 A great return to competition, and we have a chance to extend the league lead to 5 points. shaunvamos
March 2031 We blew away Salzburg after Lukas Sulc scores four from corners, and we have a 4 point lead at the top. We played well against Lazio, and are rewarded with the easiest team left on paper in Slavia Prague. Let's hope we can beat them and move to the last 4. shaunvamos
April 2031 A few dropped results, and Salzburg get revenge on us despite us dominating the game. I think Chelsea will be far too good, but at least we made it this far.

shaunvamos
2031 Preseason Transfers (Out) A big sale as starting CB Petr Vesely departs for La Liga for a club record sale. Overall, we made a profit of 9.9m, most of which came from that sale. Transfers (In) We've spent some big money here, most of which is on backended deals obviously, as we start to prepare for a crack at the Champions League knockouts. Of these transfers, Marcato, Bamonte, Malek, and Ozyurt will start, while Kovacec and Benedetti appear from the bench. Goalkeeper Central Defenders Wing Backs Defensive Midfielder Central Midfielders Strikers A near flawless preseason, and we jump up to 2nd in the media predictions. We've made significant upgrades to the squad, so I'm hoping we win and win comfortably. Edited August 24, 2022 by shaunvamos
shaunvamos
August 2031 Transfers (Out) We were absolutely raided this month, losing our starting keeper, striker and libero. But that is the nature of the game, and we'll reinvest our profits, all 8.7m of it. This is why we recruit for every position every preseason, so there's a reliable backup in case this happens. A slow start in the league, but the good news is that RB Salzburg have had one too. It's a horrible group if we want to reach the knockouts, but Anderlecht should be taken care of. Salzburg stand a chance to finish 3rd too.
shaunvamos
September 2031 We're rolling along nicely, and we almost got points against Barcelona despite being 2 men down for the last half an hour. shaunvamos
October 2031 Another strong month, and we've extended our lead in the league. shaunvamos
December 2031 We head into the winter break with a small lead, while Salzburg enters the break last. zethani
It is funny that both clubs of Salzburg are at the bottom, especially since Austria Salzburg has been the club founded to maintain the legacy of the original club that has been renamed once bought by Red Bull.

shaunvamos
March 2032 I advanced too far past the youth intake to sign them properly, so I had to go back. Only to end up with Dortmund anyway National Team Couple of comfortable friendly wins in the leadup to the Euros.
