Dom111
So I saw this on reddit and it's on a thread on how to spend the wage in fm and I thought this was the best idea that wouldn't make it too much like the sims but still give it some importance " I think rent/buying a house could be a feature. If you're renting after a year media could speculate that you're not settled, board may not be as willing to extend your contract or grant long term requests if they think you're not committed and vice versa. If you buy a house it could give you a temporary boost to board confidence especially if you're not on huge money they may think twice about sacking you if they know you've just spent big on a house. Other than that if you could spend it on some sort of lifestyle choices, a new car, a holiday during the off season etc that impacts your morale. If your morale is high you could have better chance of having positive interactions with players/journalists/other managers maybe even a slight boost to your attributes, nothing major but maybe they rise like 5-10% quicker than usual if you have full morale"
SI Staff Michael Sant Posted December 5, 2021 SI Staff Share Posted December 5, 2021 We do receive suggestions like this from the community and while we take it on board so far it hasn't been something considered as part of the philosophy behind where the game is currently going. We will keep this idea in mind though and it is something that may be declined, or following further development could go on to be a part of the FM series.
