Pace attribute eats up too much current ability

...Isn't that an exact replication of real life? Lots of fast players out there with little skill, being fast is sufficient to succeed in many leagues. 

If anything, this is probably something that should be increased. The best players in the world are rarely the fastest, and the game has trouble recreating that.

There is the Database & Research section where you can raise what you think is wrong with specific players: Database and Research - Sports Interactive Community (sigames.com)

Keep in mind though that it is opinion based and the opinion of the researcher is ultimately what counts for FM. In many instances though having that pace offsets lower attributes elsewhere, you might not have to be the best marker or tackler if you can get back quickly enough. You don't have to be the best finisher if you fast enough to get into positions that give you a lot of chances to score.

No as they are player's in the game who are good at other things in RL but in game because there pace is too high they have to lower other attributes or the current ability rating would be crazy numbers

Yh I think I didn't leave enough detail it's more a Feature Request tbh I'm hoping for in future editions maybe have more ways of making it easier to make a player more realistic to there RL counterparts possibly an attribute overhaul or something along that line.

It heavily depends on the level of the league. At the lower tiers, this is definitely true, since players are not very good readers of the game, so physical attributes become much more important. However, at the absolute top tier, say the top 5 leagues or the CL, the time and space available is so small that if you are not a very good reader of the game and very good on the ball, you will always struggle. To put it quite simply, you can be a great player without being very fast or very strong, but you cannot become one if you are not a very good reader of the game.

While that might be true in real life, in FM it's the opposite. You cannot become a great player without great physicals. That's why year after year people flock to the Database and Research forum and plead their case to get these attributes raised, not decreased like the OP in this thread. And that is why those attributes cost more, because they are more important (in the game world).

Attribute guidance for researchers, and weightings in the ME, do change over time so those are good things to keep in mind as well. There isn't a finalised idea in this though from the OP so I'll move this to reviewed and of course we welcome future posts should any further thoughts come to mind.
