Thomassje123
Hello everyone, I play with a custom database in the Sanmarinese League with Folgore. I am doing allright, I get in de Champions League group stage regularly and I get the necessary coefficients points. The Sanmarinese league is 21th in the nation coefficients and the club is now sitting 38th in the coefficients. I am in 2042 now. To progress in the game I need the other Sanmarinese clubs to do better but unfortunately they haven't reached the group stage of the Conference League yet. Slowly but surely they are getting better. I want to loan some players of mine to them but they just don't even try: This season I have 8 players that are available for loan towards one of the others clubs in the league. I decided to run a test. I picked 5 teams, got a new manager in the game and tried to loan my players. Some players actually came: Faetano: 5/8 came on loanTre Penne: 3/8 came on loanLa Fiorita: 3/8 came on loanMurata: 3/8 came on loanTre Fiori: 4/8 came on loan To me that looks like it is not a bad score. Then the second question is if they are a good player for those clubs. Actually they are, see here beneath: Spoiler So for me there should be no reason for them to not take any player at all. They want to come and are good players for them. I offered them for free (no fee and I pay the loan fee) and they still don't want to make an offer for them. This is making my build a nation here in San Marino a lot harder and I can not progress like this. Now I am wondering if anyone has some tips or maybe know the reason/problem is? Reputations: Spoiler Rules Or is it this rule that prevents them for making a loan offer? Sorry if the post was a bit too long but I am curious about your thoughts and what I can do to make the other Sanmarinese teams better
Overmars
One thing to consider when trying to loan out players is that the player himself needs to want to be loaned out. Sometimes the game doesn't show you that part. The bids that the player would outright reject sometimes never get made.

While this is true, the OP has demonstrated that at least some of the players are willing to move. I would imagine a large part of this is due to AI squad building, even though the players offered may be of a better quality than the players the teams already have, they may not view there as being space in the squad for them. Logically, it doesn’t make sense to sell a player to replace with a loanee in the medium term (beyond the length of the loan) to make that space. And while they may be getting the loanee for free, they would then still be paying the player that was fulfilling that role.
toolkit68
I have to agree with Gunner here. The AI has some really weird preferences in terms of player selection especially in terms of 'learned position'. Where we as human managers see the potential to use a player in various positions based on their stats and performances the AI is simply too dumb for it. So unless the players you try to loan out are exactly trained for the wanted position at the loaning club they wont take them. I experience the same every single time in my 2. Team. The AI will constantly choose completely different players than i will despite the Manager of that team having decent tactical knowledge of the style we generally play and shares the same formation preferences etc. A simple example is using a winger on either side of the pitch when they have at least a decent other foot - the AI will never do that.
