Stadium Expansion Planning Permission

Every season I ask for my stadium to be expanded as I'm playing in the Scottish Prem with a 750 capacity stadium. Every season the board say yes, and then the council block planning permission. Will the council eventually say yes or am I wasting my time?

They can eventually relent, but having to build a new stadium may also be an eventual solution.

I was under the impression that if an expansion gets blocked, it means the ground is already at the maximum capacity defined in the database. Things night have changed now though, might be worth loading up the editor and looking at the ground in the pregame DB.

I think you lose the option to even request it from the board if you're at max capacity.

I had same issue as OP before and council relented after 4 years.
