Subs question

I'm playing in Serie A and the rule state five subs but once I started the league it only allowed me three subs it's the start of the 2020. Am I missing something?

It should state 5 subs from 3 stoppages, not so? That should be how it works.

Yes it does say that. does that mean I'm only allowed to stop the game three times to make subs or only make subs three times for the whole game?

It means you have 3 intervals/stoppages in which to make the 5 subs. You can make 2 subs, 1 sub and then 2 subs, in the 3 stoppages, as an example.

Just to add, you can make a sub at half time and that won’t count as a stoppage
