Makoto Nakamura
Crewe United Football Club was formed in County Antrim in 1963. Within a short space of time the club acquired its own ground in Glenavy, fifteen miles outside the City of Lisburn and twenty-five miles from Belfast. Over the years Crewe worked its way up the football structures and currently play in Northern Ireland’s Mid Ulster Intermediate League. We have been affiliated to the Irish Football Association for over 30 years. The club has developed Crewe Park over many years to make it a football venue for all the community and boasts some of the best facilities is local football with two grass pitches and a 3G training pitch as well as a fantastic clubhouse. The club has senior men's and ladies teams as well as underage team which take part in the IFA Small Sided Games and the Belfast Youth League. Our aim is to provide the best facilities and environment for kids to just enjoy football. Like any other club Crewe has had success and failure on the pitch, but there is something that sets our club apart. We aim to bring all sides of the community together through the medium of football. Crewe has sought to develop understanding and respect and to be tolerant of differences, whilst acknowledging common characteristics and interests. Throughout the troubled history of Northern Ireland Crewe has been a leading light in showing that football can bring a commonality and shared interest that no other medium, and very few other clubs could provide. Really good academy coaching! We have some shocking players, but here are the good ones: This is what we've got to work with, this is a one club save and the aim is simple, to go from an empty trophy cabinet to having a cabinet bigger than Linfield, the club with the biggest trophy cabinet in world football, all without ever signing a player. Quite the comparison.
Makoto Nakamura
2023/24 Pre-Season What a pre-season! An absolutely perfect start to get us ready for the league with Mark McCullough scoring 21 goals in 10 games! We've lost four players which leaves us with just 18 players for the season which moves our predicted finish to fall from 3rd to 5th.
Makoto Nakamura
I shouldn't have mentioned Mark. Scored two goals in the first half of competitive football of the season and in the second half this happens.
WhiteCat33
FM can't let you have too easy of a first season, hope you have some decent depth up top. 18 is still a large initial roster, even if some are garbage.

Makoto Nakamura
August 2023 PSNI did the damage with us losing Mark unfortunately we haven't carried that result on. £15 for a draw, lovely. And we're entered into four cups! We're already out of one though.

Makoto Nakamura
September 2023 Well Joe Todd can find the net as well as Mark so that's going well! The board were disappointed that we didn't progress in the Mid-Ulster Cup despite the fact that Glenavon are second in the Danske Bank Premiership. I'm liking it, the new screens look very nice but it doesn't feel all too different. I'm likin the player of the week stats and the like but I'm not using the scouting interface or the squad planner. I'll definitely spend more than 1,500 hours on it again so it's worth the money.
Makoto Nakamura
January 2024 Through in both the Irish Cup and Irish Intermediate Cup but a loss to Portstewart pushes us down to 2nd. And with three players leaving we're down to a team of 15.

Makoto Nakamura
February 2024 More dropped points and our next game is against Dollingstown which is effectively a must win now! A capacity crowd turned up to see us keep it close against Linfield (well, they put out their backups) but it was still a good result for us!

Makoto Nakamura
Our vice-captain and starting MR decides to retire uninjured (Well, he stubbed his toe 13 days before the shock retirement) with two league games remaining!
Makoto Nakamura
April 2024 A mixed month but we save the most exciting game for last, we're away at Armagh City who in the two games we've already played against tem have both finished 1-1. Makoto Nakamura
2023/24 End of Season Review We've done it! A win away to Armagh City seals promotion to the 2nd tier whilst they fall down to 3rd. I like this! I like this also! 2023/24 Best XI Geoff McKinty Tiarnan McAuley - Jack Wasson (ResB) - Dylan Whiteway - Denver Taggart Mark Shannon - Noel Halfpenny Conall Delaney Eamon McAllister Joe Todd (ResC) - Mark McCullough

Makoto Nakamura
August 2024 We'd started rather well, I'm hoping the back-to-back 3-1 losses aren't a sign of things to come. We're now in a Loughgall sandwich as we've faced them in the NIFL Cup and we now face them away from home for the next two games, in the league and in the Mid-Ulster Cup. Makoto Nakamura
September 2024 That's the first time I've gone 2-0 up after 2 minutes to then go on to lose the game, typical. No cup runs for us this season but we still have the Irish Cup in December.
