Champions League 2024/25 - League Phase - Game Day 4

The gameplan worked until the 80th minute.

A stupid rebound cross after a corner destroyed everything....

 

After 4 games we are 26th.

We need to get in the top 24 to get into the next round.

UCL new format just ****ing sucks

i was wonder if the teams from same country can play each other in league phase and knockout phase in this format

Idk Im still open to that, I wait 2-3 years ingame then I judge.

 

Looking at the league phase, they are no teams playing from the same country.

Idk for the KO stage yet.

Huge W from the boys.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is leading us age 35 to this victory.

 

We are still in it.

In January we need to play Inter and Ajax.

I guess we need 3 points to get into the top 24.

Big sell in January.

Nagalo had 18 months left on his deal and a 20 mio release clause.

And he announced that he will leave at the end of his contract.

 

He was wanted by 5 teams, so off he goes.

Thats part of this save.

He played pretty damn well for us.

We bought him last summer for 3,3 mio from Nordsjaelland and now he goes for atleast 15,5 mio.

This means we need one CB and one Shadow Striker.

Time to got to our U18s!

 

Ceccon will get the call up to the main roster.

Only just bought in the summer for 1 mio from the relegated Zulte.

The 2nd Shadow Striker will be Ndongo.

Bought for 2 mio from Niort two season ago.

 

Already 3,5 start CA and he developed really well.

Only his natural fitness bl*ws...

 

We got a 2 year extension, which we (hopefully) can trigger next summer.

I have played a save as Eupen in FM22 and they are a mess - huge loans, most of which are due after one season, which is basically impossible to solve financially. The administrators often come in and sell youth and/or training facilities, which does earn money, but leaves the club renting others so not really feasible. The finances in Belgium don't help much too.

 

Looks like you are making good progress here - keep it up!

Thats sounds really really bad.

I always looked at Eupen and wanted to play them at some point because of the connection to ASPIRE.

No the new board didnt injected any money.

 

But our finances are looking very good after the CL and the two big sell in the winter.

Ayoub Aidir could be already a starter for us.

Jumping, Anticipation, Tackling and Work Rate at age 15...holy moly.

We retained our league title and Supercup.

But we missed out of the Croky Cup.

Very good team. And its gettin better and better.

There will be not many chances, since we are out of any financial troubles.

 

Auba will retire at the end of the season.

And Klich, now age 34,  impressed me and I think himself too.

He signed a new deal.
