Transfers Summer 2025 Part 1

OUT

B Team stuff.

 

Sold one youngster in Laudrup.

He played one cup game for us, but then got injured 2-3 times and was never avaiable if we need an extra RB.

Rennes came in with an 1,5 mio offer and off he goes for 1 mio.

 

De Smet and de Sart were backup HGN options. Since we got some academy players pushing into the main team, we dont need them anymore.

The big one this summer was Valdimarsson.

10 mio from Dortmund for a decent keeper. Idk if he is Dortmung level, but he is their main keeper currently.

I also decided to sell Fofana. He tried his best at left WB, but he is a winger. 6 mio is really good.

Transfers Summer 2025 Part 2

I treated myself with a transfer.

I got a soft spot for the Chinese NT since my save 2 years ago.

And once I saw Shi Lei in the Philly academy, I knew I wanted him.

 

Djalo is our project keeper behind Popa.

And Tweed I already mentioned.

 

Van der Bruggen is just a fringe player, but he got a value. 

HGC player for the CL and he is also decent.

Surely the early red card helped, but we played amazing.

 

I made two simple changes before the Lyon game.

I added "Work Ball into the Box" and changed our High Line to a Low Block.

Brilliant.

Man...

After bad first 50 minutes we did an amazing comeback.

But the game decided...nah F U...90+5 minute goal from BMG.

 

Anyways we got now 10 pts, this should be the next round.

Absolutely fuming abot the cup game.

Early goal from Cercle and an early red card for us meant this game was over pretty quick.

Well no cup final for us...

 

Anyways we finish the league with 9 pts ahead of Anderlecht and 12 pts ahead of OHL.

The January will be hard for the moral with games against Milan and Bayern.

What type of players do you look for in your current tactic? Are you looking for all around types who are good at everything or players who for example are technically talented but not great mentally/physically?

I was thinking about switching to a back 3 formation, and given the success you've been having with yours I thought that I would try it, depending on if I need to completly re-vamp my squad to make it work with your tactic.

Thats the lowblock version I use currently.

 

Couple of roles like SK; BPD, SS and AF should be clear.

Also WBs on both sides, here you can even get away with wingers with poor tackling and marking.

 

Natural WCBs are hard to find, so you need to use what you got. CBs or Fullback with poor crossing and dribbling.

 

Here coming the PIs in play.

For e.g. Taveres. He looks like a proper CB/NCB.

 

But with some PIs, you can just hide his weakness. 

 

 

 

In the middle I use B2B. 

Why? I can really say, I just gave that a try and it worked.

With only 2 CMs in the formation, they need be complete was my though process.

 

I still like the get one B2B type and one DLP type.

 

Here are my currently main 4, which I switch around.

They all pretty complete, but everybody got high workrate and teamwork. Thats the key in my eyes.

And Klich age 35 is the best out of those 4.

 

 

As DLF I like to use a TF type player.

Yes I use currently low crosses, but you will still see a lot of high crosses.

And someone who can win headers and score or assists with it, is also pretty key in my eyes.

Yeah, maybe.

Or Continental competitions, so you need to scout the entire world.

 

I saw a lot of heartbreaking stuff this season. 

So I will stick to the 13 in this one.

 

But we got one more checkmark.

Also Nagalo and Rafn Valdimarsson are starters.

 

Diomande is a very sad story.

He started the first 2 games of the season for Chelsea, then he torn his ACL...
