The team looks primed to retain the title and the title odds seems to confirm it. I had renewed the contracts of 18 of my players and I have not made any changes to the first team. No major transfers. All players brought in are 18 year olds or under to bulk up my u20 squad. My back up striker is getting serious interest from PSG & Real and I was unable to renew his contract. He wanted 300k per week when my highest paid player is on a 240k contract. Only difficult spot was at start of Dec when we went 3-0 and 2-0 down against Cagliari and Bologna respectively. Tristan has been a valuable first team player who had played a valuable role in shoring up our defence. He was looking for a more prominent role and had his head turned a bit with the interest from Gunners and Newcastle. I have inserted a loan back till end of season and 50% sell on clause And the reason I let him go was that I have a ready replacement already on rolls. Only positive from the Inter result in Copa is that we can focus on the big 2. Got another German opponent in the form of RBL awaiting us next month in the big one. Even though my status at the club is undecidfed, I have moved to lock in the contracts of all major players within the squad. Have plenty of interest in my young stars and most of the big wigs have been pissing me off with paltry bids (sometimes coming in at half the value of the players). I had agreed the fees with Swansea and had provided an adequate contract offer to the player when Ajax swooped in and offered him more playing time. Have an interesting option with Villa who were taken over by a Tycoon in 2030, but haven't made my mind up. May wait till European Championships are over to see if any interesting jobs come up. Moved quickly and triggered the clause in Eamon Scott's contract at Ajax All other transfers were before I signed up, including the weird Kalu transfer, where we invoked a buy back clause for some quick profits. We have 3 key players negotiating their way out for pretty decent amounts at the moment. I should have a decent kitty to upgrade my midfield Trying out a newly tweaked formation for the first time.
