Pearomaniac
After around 10-15 matches i have realized that my tactical approach has stopped working and that it is time for some changes. I liked to play on the counter, fall back, let them in, give them possession, soak in the pressure and try to kill them on the counter. It took me quite a while that it is not the same when u let EFL League One team hold possession and when u let Man City hold possession, something needed to be changed. I came up with this, the formation is the same but the tactic is totally different. Since we are struggling on creating the chances and we are conceding too many goals i want to slow the pace down, numb down the match and control the pace of the game by playing short passes and building up the attack from behind. Dont let them to do with the ball what they want, push the defense higher up and look higher line of engagement and hope for the best.
Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 1 Match #14 Man City HOME Interesting match where i shared the possession with the Citizens and although i expected a heavy loss we managed to get two goals against them. We did not look bad on the pitch, they were not suffocating us with pressure and we handled it quite well, we even had more possession then them. I might be on to something with this tactic.

Pearomaniac
So this has been the song that we have been singing home and away for weeks now to ease our pain. We are on a ten match run without a win. Just loook at the matches that we have been playing in the past feew weeks, just horrible. We are going to need a miracle to stay in this league. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 1 Match #28 Burnley AWAY This one was a record breaker, in many ways. It was our first win in ten matches and what a crazy match that costed me a lot of nerves. First we broke a record by number of goals in a match, and another record that was broken is number of goals scored by a player in one match which was 5, Aribbim Pepple was on fire (it was about time) in this match. The 0:4 by the 32nd minute and i literally could not believe it but it didnt took long before our bubble started bursting, it was 3:4 before you could blink, all in all match ended with our win and the score was 4:6.
Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 1 Match #29 FULHAM HOME So, i decided to change my attire since im in the more serious league now and it worked. We got quite an surprising victory in a match where we allowed so many risky shots that it is a true miracle how we havent conceded more goals. At the end, it was the penalty that brought us the comfort and secured the win. Heres how the table looks like 30+ matches into the season. This is going to be tough, not much left. Pearomaniac
I really dont know how but it seems that AFC Wimbledon made the biggest profit in the PL this season.
Pearomaniac
Its there, we are 5 more matches away from the end of the season and its tight on the bottom of the table. If it is to believe it to the numbers there is no less than 8 teams who might get relegated. Southampton is practically already out and im going to reign them in search of new players for the next season, IF i survive this one in the PL. If i could get a single point from any of the top 6 teams that i am playing that would mean sooo much.

Pearomaniac
Both Newcastle and Chelsea whooped my ass. This means that i will have to beat already relegated Southampton and get at least a point from 6th placed Aston Villa. And pray that neither Leicester nor Watford get a win. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 1 Match #37 SOUTHAMPTON AWAY Southampton is beaten, we went behind quite early but Chace Johnston is one of the players who gave us wings and who turned the result around with a goal and an assist. One more match left. Its Aston Villa, home!
Pearomaniac
This is it, last one, for survival. Luckily our teams atmosphere has been good since the last win against Southampton and i dont want too add extra pressure on the team with a meeting, lets just get out and do this. Besides, i have players who are trying to raise team spirit even further.
Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 1 Match #38 ASTON VILLA HOME We failed in getting a draw in this match. We got a win How? Beats me, i know the result is two one and that the winner was scored by my RB, new signing here and he scored a thunderous shot from just outside the box. Wow, what a painstaking season, i dont remember when was the last time i suffered so match. I was by FAR the worst team in defense, i have conceded 86 goals in a season while the second worst team conceded 69. I gotta do something about this for the next season.

Pearomaniac
So as it seems AFC Wimbledon is forced to play home matches away from our original home once more in history. This time we will be sharing Stamford Bridge with Chelsea until the planned expansion of our stadium is completed. We plan expanding our stadium for around 6.000 more places which will bring our stadium capacity just around 20.000 places which would be just enough for PL standards. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 2 Pre Season END So, pre season has ended and we had our training camp away in Netherlands and playe a decent number of matches which u can see in the next few shots. Got a chance to see new signings in action and to asses the teams qualities. Pre Season Matches Teams Condition Released Players Since i had issues with renewing contracts of some of my players which actively had a part in the first team i have decided to release six of them. I was wondering where are they playing now and and three of them are playing for lower league clubs while Kalambayi, Davison and O'Neill are free agents. New Signings I have splashed a lot of cash on new signing so i hope they do really good in the team. My DMF which i payed 20mil euros. My striker who is also payed just above the 20mil euros mark. And a GK who has a huge potential.
Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 2 Match #1 Man. Utd HOME What a glorious day, Manchester has fallen. I am overjoyed with the win but i cant say that i am a bit concerned with a number of shots on the target and number of saves made by opposition GK. Anyway, thank u Dayot Upamecano. Im gonna enjoy this day and end it right here as i think it can not get much better than this. And yes, for the firs time ever in the PL, AFC Wimbledon player won the player of the week award. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 2 Match #10 Everton AWAY It is obvious that i am conceeding far less goals last season and hopefully that is to the improvements i made in players at the back. Everton is not the best team in the league but i will always take a draw away in the PL. Here are last few results that i have skipped, so remember last season, Arsenal scored 12 goals in two matches, this 0:1 loss now feels like a refreshment. But Chelsea's team is amazing, i was totally outclassed for the whole match and it is only a miracle how i conceded only two goals in that match. This is how the table looks like after ten matches in the league, compared to the last season this is much, much better.
Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 2 Match #11 Leeds HOME Interesting match, we had our fair share of possession and shots, we better used our chances and thats it. City HOME Nothing to be ashamed off, we showed our teeth and made citizens worry once more about their points. Nothing easy on Stamford Bridge. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 2 Match #20 Aston Villa HOME Great win at home, Pepple starts playing like its expected of him and he shares the best goalscorer spot in my team with my new signing Irfan Abdillah. This is how the table looks after 20 matches, more than happy. Pearomaniac
FA CUP Round Three Charlton HOME Although the numbers say it was an easy match, it wasnt really. Only scored goal on the match was some cross that rattled off of two defenders before it layed down in front of Pepple who thundered it behind the GK back. Pearomaniac
FA CUP Fourth Round Huddersfield HOME Surprisingly easy match in the fourth round of the FA Cup, we were in control of the match and in charge even when they had the ball, besides that, i had my AML Chace Johnston playing one of the better matches this season with two assists and a goal. But i would say this is where my luck ends in the FA Cup, next rival in the Quarter Final is Chelsea, a team i already said before has one of the best teams in the PL. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 2 Match #33 Leeds AWAY Well this was one of the bore draw matches written all over it for the most part of the match, no real good chances, most shots outside of the box finished in the row Z. Last chance looked like nothing will come from it but it was a throw in at the oppositions corner flag which was thrown in into the heart of the penalty area, passed by my CD on to the penalty spot where my LB smashed it into a top corner which brought us this a bit unexpected win. And when i look at the schedule of the last five matches we have, boy am i glad we got the win.

Pearomaniac
2029/30 Season Review AFC WIMBLEDON Another season is behind us and we could call it a successful one. Final position of the season we took was 14th, much better than the last one where we spent most part of the season in the relegation zone. Im surprised to se my GK being named the signing of the season when both my ST and DM had good seasons but ok, thats FM. Ah that first match of the season, unstucking Mancs. Of course thats the best match of the season. Again finances keep getting better and better, my transfer budget this season is around 80mil. Player of the season, unsurprisingly was Aribim Pepple who was our best scorer too.

At 22, he's not that young either so I'm not sure how much he will improve. How much first team football has he played and at what level? 50 million is a lot of money. I bought this newgen for 450k in the Championship and he isn't even a week on week starter for me. The lad above for me currently looks at L1/Champ level... Pearomaniac
So here they are, four players i managed to bring in during the transfer period. Player i brought in to be my second option at RB or CD if needed, nothing special, havent spent a lot of money so i could even earn a few bucks on him. Here is another defender since my main goal in the PL right now is to reduce the number of conceded goal, i am expecting this player to be my first team CD along with Johnatan Vila. "One for the future" like my scouts like to say, MC who is already a decent player but also can improve a lot. Payed him around 20mil. And Mr. Diaz, BY FAR the best player that was bought in to the AFC Wimbledon and i am expecting a lot from him, i was lacking of a good MC playmaker. And yes, i guess you noticed i have brought in a lot of foreigners, i decided to use my scouts the best way possible so i have gave them assignments looking for high profile players on every single continent where football is played on this earth.
