Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 4 Match #30 Burnely HOME Considering that this is a team that beat Man City 3:0 couple of weeks ago i am quite happy with the result and the match Joe Gelhardt had. This is how the table looks like with 8 matches left before the end of the season. Considering the matches that are left to play it is going to be really hard reaching the place that leads to the European competition. With Tottenham being the only direct competitor for European competition place i play against, if i lose to them then i dont have much to hope for. Im counting on at least 12 points from wins in the next 8 matches, in best case i get 3 more, and i doubt that will be enough. Lets wait and see. That would be enough FM for the day. Time for a break. Edited February 27, 2023 by Pearomaniac

Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 4 Match #32 Newcastle AWAY After losing this match like this i lost my will to play the game and wanted to finish the season ASAP so i just simulated last 4 matches of the season. . Here are the results of the last six matches of the season. And this is the final situtation on the table. After all setbacks and weird results it was still CIty who took the title on the last day of the season. Pearomaniac
SEASON REVIEW I would agree on the signing of the year, Kirkland played great at moments and proved to have great partnership with Gelhardt at the attack. Since i finished the season one or two spots lower than the last the finance are lower too. Board is satisfied what i did in the PL and in the FA Cup but im far from happy with the results. Its weird that i got the biggest win of the season in the midst of a heavy injury crisis. I havent changed much of the players in the first team but my strikers pair worked out like a treat scoring almost 40 goals combined. The fans player of the season is Joe Gerhardt who led the scorers list with 19 goals.

Pearomaniac
PRESEASON REVIEW What happened behind the screen. FRIENDLIES Good mix of low level teams and stable first league teams. Even had one match broadcasted on local TV. Transfers IN Well, this preseason was much calmer compared to previous one transfers wise. I brought in three players BUT i hope they will become key players for my club. Koni De Winter DC - Al Gharafa €17.000.000 - DC who i plan to be a first team player next to Alejandro Gomez. Jorge Rodriguez AMR - Wolfsburg €7.750.000 - Player who is also brought in to be a first team player as i have lost my confidence in Radmore. Benjamin Amoah ST - Burnley €19.500.000 - I will ease him tino the first team this season as i still believe in my last seasons first team strikers. Transfers OUT These are the players i have sold and i am quite happy that i have managed to keep all my key players this season. Budget I still have a decent budget to work with as i have loaded off some U21 players that have been playing for decent wages but have not been earning them on the pitch. First Team And finally, this is the first team i have in my mind. Major changes are wingers, Gordon deserved his place in the first team by using chances he got from the bench in the best way possible while Rodriguez is a new signing who needs to do a lot of proving to keep that first team position. Other big change is De Winter who has been brought in to be a first team player while Amoah deserved his first team spot in the preaseason but i wont give him every single start, i still owe my strikers from the last season. Diaz is going to be moved to U21 squad ASAP as i have plenty of players in that position and im going to let young Londono to have a few more starts this season. Pepple is going to be used more as AMR then striker as i am short with players there and i dont think Radmore has the quality to fill that position while Gerhardt deserved his firs team place with his goal scoring abilities in the last season. I plan starting Gerhardt at least for a half a season and play Amoah as sub and then switch them up and hope that is work of a genius not a mad man.

Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 5 Match #2 West Ham HOME Not a bad match but it looks like we havent gotten over the child diseases in the PL, keep conceding after taking the lead. At the end it was Amoah who scored on his debut to save the match.
Pearomaniac
EFL CUP Round #2 Crawley HOME Draw was rather kind to me this season in the EFL Cup, in round one i got Championship side Huddersfield, and then in round two i got League Two side Crawley. It took some time to break the deadlock but it was all easier after that.

Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 5 Match #10 Fulham HOME Mr. Kovac did not had kindest of words before the match. I had to respond accordingly. And now when i look back on it, it was a loot of huffing and puffing for nothing, match finished 0:0 with no significant chances on any side. This is how the table looks, quite impressive i must admit. It all started so damn slow as i could not find a win in first five matches of the season and then i could not stop winning, and all that thanks to my ST Fiacre Kirkland who has been playing fabulously at the start of this season. This is how Kirkland was doing in this couple of matches. And for the end of this update... yeah, nice and sweet so far.
Pearomaniac
7 minutes ago, Stuniverse said: What are the the AFC Wimbledon Board and Supporters expectations for this season? And, most importantly, what are your expectations? Its weird, they are all hoping just to survive the season in the PL without getting relegated, i had a meeting with the board trying to convince them to change their expectations for this season but i was thrown out of the office like a suitcase. I am aiming for Europe, at least Conference League. Last two seasons i was just away from it, this season i hope this might be it. If i keep playing like this i might win it lol but form is temporary, class is permanent and we still lack a bit of it

Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 5 Match #16 Leeds HOME Its been a while since i updated this thread so here i am, back again. i havent got a win in six matches, and it looks like my form is coming in waves, finally a good, certain win after a wave of bad results, but if u consider that i played against Arsenal and Man City without conceding a goal u must admit thats not that bad of a result. Pearomaniac
FA CUP Round #3 Rotterham HOME What a misserable match against Rotterham, although we created numerous chances we were simply unable to convert chances, even those from inside the penalty box. Pearomaniac
FA CUP Round #3 Replay Rotterham AWAY Much better show of converting chances, this might also be due to the fact that at the first match i havent played my first team strikers. Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 5 Match #26 Newcastle HOME A really, really important matcha against an opponent who is my direct rival for a place in Europe. It was a really tough match, equal in stats but it was one shot that made the difference and brought us the win. When u take a look at the table u realize why is this an imoportant match and why could it be crucial for this season. It was a great win but it costed me my best striker. Fiacre Kirkland is going to be unavailable for the next month or so. Big kick in the groin.
Pearomaniac
FA CUP Round #4 Swansey HOME A great match we played at home with my second striker scoring twice. Our goal was not even threatened until deep into the second half when they scored consolation goal. The draw for the next round is made and its mighty Liverpool. Pearomaniac
FA CUP Round #5 Liverpool HOME Such an exhausting match, physically and psychologically, we were under the pressure for most of the match and fought for every inch of the field but we just could not keep our goal safe. I am glad that Kirkland is back on track after the injury and that we got the win, feels bad that we conceded but nobody is perfect. Seven more matches left to play and we have more than realistic chances to reach Europe this season. Pearomaniac
10 YEARS RECAP Where Are They Now? This is how the team first looked when i got my hands on them. Assal was by far best player on the team, Maghoma and Young Coombes were loaned players while Deri Corfe was my only signing that season if i remember correctly. That first season we finished 7th in the League Two and the very next season we won the League and got our promotion. This is a story of those players. Alex Woodyard was one of those players who had a spot in my heart, he decided to retire at the age of 30 after a recurring injury and i could not let him go so i offered him a job as a coach that he still works. David Fisher was one of my revelations, he played wonderfully and scored some important goals but we just could not agree on a new contract. Assal, Davison, Kalambayi and Ogundere were the players that spent most time with me in the club but i could not reason with them to lower their demands for the wages and just had to let them go because when i got to the Premier League i had players that were two times better then them and are playing for half of them wages. It was unreasonable to give them so high wages. The player who is not mentioned in this text is Will Nightingale, player who has been with me through thick and thin, current record holder as a player with most apps for AFC Wimbledon which retired as a captain of a PL side Wimbledon some two years ago. Synonym for loyalty and a great personality. Lets see what was going on in the world for the past ten years. Here are some history fact in this world. These are past World Cup winners. Portugal won the last cup with Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes being frontrunners in the team. European Championship has been played three times With England wining it two time and Portugal once. Looks like Portugal nation is a force to be reckoned with in this game, and even my nation managed to get into the finals but we lost on penalties. Glad i havent managed them that year. Here is what is going on in the Champions League for the last ten years. Liverpool has played finals of the CL amazing 6 times in ten years wining it 4 times. Quite an amazing achievement honestly, and one of the most surprising winners in the past ten years is definitely AS Monaco which won without any big names in the team. For the end i have left the FIFA Best Player of The Year. A reward that has being handed hand to hand between Haaland and Mbappe but one year a huge surprise, 36 year old Bruno Fernandes won the reward after an amazing season in football. Perfect season to retire yourself after. That would be it. If you have anything interesting to see in this past ten FM years feel free to ask and i will do my best to find out.
Pearomaniac
Preseason Review How and whats... Transfers IN Probably signing of the season, Kaide Gordon and Chace Johnston have together had 6 assists and 1 goal scored which is unacceptable for me and that is the reason i looked for a new AML on the market. Since i have sold Jorrel Hato to Leeds i was in need of a decent cover for a LB and Garbutt was my solution. Same story like Garbutt. I have sold my cover for DMF and was looking for something similar on the market but by the look of it i might be looking at future first team midfielder here. And finally, a player i decided was too good to be let slide for free, i plan to give him a few starts and try and cash in on him at the end of the season. Transfers OUT These are all the players that i have sold, Vaughan and Hato became unsettled so i had to let them go while Diaz was probably my biggest dissappointment in last few seasons, players wise. Good preseason, had a great run of matches and i made all of my players fit and match ready. And this is the first team i have in my head, not many changes except AML being played by Marianelli and possibility that De Winter might be pushed out from the first team during the season. Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 6 Match #16 West Ham HOME WOO! Looks like someone woke up Amoah, he was nowhere to be seen for quite some time but here he is, a hat trick in this London derby where all four goals were scored in the first half, beautiful. Since i got that win against Everton i havent looked back until i ran into Liverpool which gave me another defeat in this season, but this last win of ours proved that the morale is still high and that we are not shook that easy. Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 6 Match #17 West Ham HOME I have created a monster Benjamin Amoah scored two consecutive hat tricks in the Premier League, and if the last result was surprising for me, this one absolutely blew me away. We are playing football of a life time right now. Also, why is this even more surprising is that because i have neglected some of the squad players i allowed them to play some matches for U21 team which happened today so they were inelgible to play for me and the only AML that was elgible was injured so i had to play that greyed out regen that shows up when you are lacking players in the team on certain position and guess what, he got an assist. United and Arsenal in a matter of 12 days and i was expecting nothing but defeats but this one happened out of the bloom. What a time for my new signing to start scoring goals. We played fabulously, fought for every inch of the field, for every loose ball, and we have won against a top placed team in the Premier League. Pearomaniac
Well THIS is a day that will go down in history as a first time ever i was dubbed as a favorite to win in a match against Manchester City. 27th January 2034. Pearomaniac
PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 6 Match #30 Liverpool HOME Here we are, its that time of the season again. March, eight matches left to play in the season, only difference now is that i am in the best position on the table at this time in last 6 years. By avoiding defeat from Liverpool i am staying firmly in competition for a place in continental competition next year. As you can see bellow in the league table, Man. City took one position for the UEFA Europa Conference League from the league by wining the EFL Cup. That is all Conference League, Manchester City participating in it. Cant believe it, the first time i get to fight for the Conference League with realistic chances, Man City takes one spot away from the league. Great! TABEL FIXTURE 29/30/31 I am notorious at finishing the season in a worst possible way, but i think this one is going to be different. Wish me luck.
