Coulthard's Jaw
This is the second game at the Education City Stadium, it has yet to see a goal... Uruguay Interesting mix here of old names we all know and love, and some new exciting players. Maybe lacks the middle bit to go deep in the tournament but are a dangerous team to face. Last won the World Cup in 1950. South Korea For a team that reached the semi finals in 2002, have not really built on that since then. Son Heung-min is their best player, even with a fractured eye socket. Teams Head to Head Uruguay knocked South Korea out of the 2010 World Cup, 2-1. Rob1981
Feels like a WC too far for a lot of this Uruguay side. Martin Caceres in the MLS now, Godin and Suarez gone back to playing in South America. Muslera on the bench though, which is weird. Why keep faith with Caceres and Godin at the back, then leave out a keeper they've played 100 international games with and pick someone different with only half a dozen caps. South Korea to run them ragged, Uruguay to try and scrap and roll around enough to take a point. Edited November 24, 2022 by Rob1981
CFuller
Just now, craigcwwe said: Better than ITV's effort. Massively disagree. ITV's intro isn't fantastic, but at least it looks like it's promoting a World Cup in Arabia and doesn't sound like something they'd play at Guantanamo Bay. The BBC's intro looks like it's introducing "Most Epic World Cup Moments Ever" on BBC Three, narrated by Comedy Dave.

In which case, drop out some of the ancient defenders. You can make a case for them starting if they've got an understanding with the keeper which goes back years and years. If you want to play a different keeper, you may as well put some fresher legs in the back line as well.
