imagine in alternate timeline have the Court Judged in favour of the Supporters who had ownership over the stadium

so what SAD would do build an new club or buy the club

They would have been able to organise buying back the controlling interest from this other third party and presumably there would likely have been no issue then. Although they might still have decided to split at some point.

and Belenenses will still start in AF Lisboa Second Division and SAD would ended up buying Benfica CB or maybe Abrantes

Thoughts

Firstly as you can see we made quite a few moves in the transfer window. I just felt we needed to improve the team a lot to have any chance, and I still expect us to struggle to avoid relegation. We did start our campaign this month, and that was to exit the League Cup at the first possible opportunity, although to be honest it was expected. We have a pretty big team now and I am not sure we managed to improve in every area I wanted but I think we probably have a lot more quality now in the team than we did before.

Thoughts

It has been a really bright start to the season for us as we go unbeaten in the month and pick up two wins including one of the wins against Rio Ave. Two players to single out here at an early stage and they are Ateef Konate and Latyr N'Diaye who have set the early form for the side. I will take survival this season, and the early season form suggests we can get that this season.

Thoughts

We signed a new contract this month which is nice and even nicer the good results continued this month as we continue to remain undefeated. We sit in second place behind FC Porto B. We managed to get through in the cup beating Atletico CP in the 2nd Round. In terms of performances Latyr N'Diaye has stepped it up another gear this month as he banged in 8 goals in 4 games. Correia has also been excellent scoring 4 goals in the same amount of time. Also worth mentioning has been Wallison Bahia who has been extremely good from the right wing for us. The good times keep going and we already sit 11 points above the relegation places.

Thoughts

We suffered our first defeat in the league and it came against Torrense, who were also expected to struggle this season, but we have responded very well winning the remaining game in month as well as getting through in the Portuguese Cup where we beat Varzim convincingly and judging by how good they were last season that is a very good result for us. Our home is really key for us, we look unbeatable at the moment in front of our fans. N'Diaye continues to run amok in this division as he now extends his goalscoring record to 16 goals in 12 games. Correia also continues his good form with another couple this month. Ateef Konate and Corentin Jacob have also had good months for us.

Well we came back down to Earth a little bit this month as we lost two straight games in the league, first at home to Maritimo and then away at Nacional da Madeira. We certainly were not overshadowed or outplayed but it just went that way. Over the summer we invested in some analysts to provide us some insight into how we are doing and, what is really clear to me is that we are doing really well but underperforming our XG and it is mostly in how we concede goals, and the prime suspect appears to be our new goalkeeper Almeida, who is a mile behind expected goals preserved and shot save percentage. So that is an issue, and we will have to keep an eye on that as the season progresses as it is costing us at the minute and we can't really replace him this season. In terms of good performances Mario Correia has been pretty brilliant this month, scoring in every fixture and he continues to impress me.

Thoughts

We had some bad news on the financial front, as the club felt there was no other way than to slash the wage budget so we are now quite considerably over the wage budget, which will affect us going forward. They did however find some money to put into the finances, but we continue to lose money every month, and that is already with selling out almost every single week. On the pitch it was another tough month as we faced some of the better sides in the division but we didn't do two badly, with two wins, two losses and a draw. My expectations are still just to stay up and I would worry a lot about us if we were to get promoted this season. It would also start the 15 year clock on our time at Juventude, so part of me hopes that we don't go up in a way, however with the finances the way they are, this may well be our best chance for a very long while. In terms of performances on the pitch, I have seen no improvement in XG from the goalkeeper so that is pretty worrying to us, in terms of positives Correia bagged 8 goals this month which was outstanding. I should also mention that we made it through the cup beating Vitoria de Setubal 7-1, and we will face Boavista in the next round away.

Thoughts

It was another tough month for us. Our issue is that we are not the same team away from home as we are at home and this month had a good number of away games to contend with. Having said that, we are not out of the promotion hunt yet. Rio Ave are long gone at this stage but Maritimo are catchable and failing that we are still sitting in the playoff place. Correia missed quite a few games this month, and so we missed him but N'Diaye stepped and got four in four in five games to help us along. it should be added that we also exited the cup this month, it was always going to be unlikely that we could upset Boavista and we didn't, we did quite well against them but could not in the end get one over them.

Thoughts

A real poor month from us, all things considered. It wasn't just that we lost two games, it was the manner of the defeats that were not good enough. It is now looking a long shot for us to make the promotion places. If we do completely lose it then relegation is not out of the question yet so we need to be careful. I don't think anyone really stood out for us, maybe N'Diaye can hold his head up for three goals in four, but the general play has not been good enough.

Thoughts

It was a really crunch month for us, that would either keep us going or kill us off in the hunt for promotion and we really performed well, as we took three wins and a draw from the months action. That included key wins against Leixoes and Nacional as well as a draw against Maritimo that are all in and around us. We now move into the business end of the season knowing that as things stand it will be in ours hands to finish in at least the playoff position of the league. We can still catch Penafiel, but Rio Ave looks like they are little too far ahead of us at this time.

Thoughts

It was another really hard month of games against some of the best sides in the division and we were really good this month especially with consideration of the opposition, to take 10 points out of a potential 12 at this point in the season is absolutely perfect and we are now pretty close to promotion, but we probably still need to win our remaining two games of the season to be absolutely sure that we will do it. This month Konate, Jacob and N'Diaye have been the best player for us.

Thoughts

Well, it was a long road, but we managed to do it in the end. The win against Belenenses proved to be the decisive blow that would get us to the promised land of the Premier League. That does now mean that the 15 year clock starts on our time at Juventude de Evora, so we no longer have any real time to waste. There was a lot of other important news that came this month. Our budget was announced and it is roughly doubled, so that should give us some scope to try and bring in players to attempt to survive. Final plans for the new stadium, name to be Vitorino Lelo Arena have been announced and it will hold just shy of 10,000 people. However that will only be ready in 2027, so for now we will be playing in Beja at the 4,000 capacity Complexo Desportivo Fernando Mamede. The stadium move has come with an £8m bank loan that we will have to finance going forward, so we will see whether that cripples us going forward. At least it is still in the Alentejo. The season finished with N'Diaye the top goalscorer and we decided to give him a new contract as I think whatever we happen to do in the transfer market he will have a role to play in the coming season.

Six signings in and I am not sure that is enough but was all we could manage. We are already out of the League Cup losing to Academico de Viseu, which was a little disappointing but the competition is not a priority, the only thing I care about is surviving in the Premier League this season and then hopefully we can move from there.

We have had a great start to the season, which has somewhat surprised me. I am not getting ahead of myself, but we were even pretty unlucky to lose against FC Porto. It is still early days, but if we survive this season, we may well have this start to thank for it. In terms of performances on the pitch N'Diaye and Correia have continued their old partnership in the absence of Dietz who has an injury for over a month. Elsewhere Bahia has continued to do great as he seems to grow to each new challenge, now doing well in the Premier League. Although by no means outstanding Vigoreaux has been pretty good and has prevention of 1.4 positive XG and is saving 81 per cent of shots, so the problems we were having with Almeida have not persisted with the change of keeper.

Finally it about time that Juventude de Evora are promoted to primeira liga that it never recoved from 1980-1981 season

and now they must qualify from European Competitons to become the first alentejo team to play in Europe

Imagine how Lusitano de Evora Supporters are get very mad that Juventude de Evora are promoted while they stay in Portugal Championship

I feel like Europe will be tough to achieve for a while.

Yeah Lusitano fans are probably not best pleased, but they should look at it differently and look at as a fellow Alentejo club fighting against the big boys.

Another decent month, we were always going to lose to Benfica, so to keep it to two goals is pretty decent from us and then we managed to beat Chaves. N'Diaye has just gotten injured and it'll be a few weeks until he is expected back so that could put a dent in things, but so far we are doing very well.

Another good month, where we managed to win all but one of our games, and that was the game I least expected to lose. Looking at the analytics we are definitely overperforming our XG, which means at some point we are likely to go through a bad patch. I am just enjoying the fact that at the moment we are playing some great football and riding high in the league.

A very difficult month for us as we only got one win, but it did come against bottom of the table Vitoria de Guimaraes who are seemingly have a horrible below par season so far. We did exit the cup to fellow promoted side Rio Ave, and to be honest I don't mind since we are not focussed at all on the cup competitions this season. Florian Dietz has been finding his feet and has moved onto 6 goals this season and N'Diaye continued his good form with a couple of goals this month.

The good times continue to roll, as we have seemingly found another gear, and are now on a long unbeaten run that stretches back to October in the league. This month we managed to overcome Sporting, which was pretty fortunate they more less battered us but we kept picking them off on the break. At the moment we sit in fourth which would see us in the Europa League, and it is 11 points to Estoril who sit just outside of the European places currently, so European qualification is definately on, but it is still very early days.

Guimaraes were expected to finish 9th, so they have blown up this season very badly. I still think they will probably survive. Europe is looking a half decent shout for us, but still have a feeling things can go very wrong in one of the coming months.

We lost to Benfica, but we recovered for the rest of the month and now it is looking almost odds on that we can qualify for Europe this season. Portimonense or Sporting Braga would need to make up 14 points on us to knock us out of the European places, assuming that one of the top clubs wins the Portuguese Cup as that can affect European qualification; but they have every season so far so no reason to assume this season will be any different. Dietz got himself 5 in 3 this month and N'Diaye bagged a hat-trick in our demolition of Estoril so things are going well. The main issue we have is the money side of things. We continue to haemorrhage money every month, and are now about £2.5m in the red. European qualification may be the only thing that can save that, and perhaps once the new stadium is built the larger crowds might well help as well.

One point of note, is that this league pack has Under 18 leagues built in but they weren't loaded so from next season they will be loaded, as our Under 19's only play friendlies (and greyed out games), so it will be good to have that loaded and actually be able to improve the standard of the Under 19s which soon might become a priority for us. We still have not improved a single facility at the club mostly because we are so poor at the moment, but I feel in the coming three or four years that will be the focus. At the moment we appear to be  Under 19 Second Division which I believe is the third tier, but as mentioned I can't see the results or the league tables.

The new stadium name I think is in one of the posts, but it is Vitorino Leal Arena. So now as part of the rule set, from when I reach the top division I have 15 seasons at Juventude before I must resign and this manager is not allowed to return there during their career, and I will have to move on to a new Alentejo club.

Sorry the name is actually Vitorino Lelo, he is a club icon apparently (presume it is this guy https://www.soccerzz.com/player.php?id=324129&epoca_id=116).

Those two clubs are options as they some of the better teams in the region. But I guess it will depend what jobs are available when I resign.

A very difficult month of fixtures comes to and end and to be honest we probably did better than expected, especially getting the draw against Sporting CP. The gap to Boavista has now closed to 8 points and they have a game in hand so hopefully we can hold out.

A good month for us as we win both league games and continue our league position of 4th place. We are continuing to add pressure to the chasing pack and we are now really close to confirming our presence in Europe next season. N'Diaye was the man this month as he bagged himself four goals including a hat-trick.

It is official, we will be playing at a minimum Europa League football next season. It is still mathematically possible for us to catch Sporting CP in third place, although I think that is very unlikely as they have a five point lead with three games to play. But if they mess up and we can keep winning that is still possible. This month we just kept doing what we have been doing for quite some time now and that is picking up wins.

I have been thinking about ways to make money. European football will help, but it is not Champions League football so the money will be quite a bit less, probably more than enough to start balancing the books, but I also think next season we will be creative with our friendlies in pre-season and see if we can't raise a lot of money that way.

We finish the season in 4th place as Sporting CP held their nerve to capture the final Champions League spot, so next season we will be in the Europa League. I have to say it is an amazing season from our perspective. I simply wanted to stay up this season but we just kept moving in the league and in the end we accomplished something quite remarkable. I believe we are the first team from the Alentejo to ever qualify for Europe. We had some remarkable performers this year. N'Diaye ended up with 30 goals and is officially now the top league goalscorer in our history. He has seemingly been able to just pick up at any level and get the goals. Dietz was a good acquisition for us and he did a great job for us. The likes of Bahia and Konate have also outdone themselves this season and again have proven themselves at a higher level. The board have not really given us much to work with for this coming season as we already have that wage budget now, so really we will need to let players go before we can bring anyone in. I don't think we will be able to do too much in the transfer window and I am hoping that we can rebuild the clubs coffers this year to then allow us to start to improve things around the club.

Plenty to get our teeth into here. We were pretty restricted in our transfers and we were only able to bring in four players, although I feel they do improve us as a team. We set up a set of cups that we will run every year until we feel we do not need to and we were able to make around about £1m this year. Sponsorship had already brought us out of the red. The position will get worse all year I am sure unless we do well in Europe so we will need to be mindful of that. In terms of results, they do not really matter, the games are being played one after another and so really the main thing is to avoid injuries and the injuries have not really happened in the matches more around them. Still the money is very helpful for next year, where hopefully we will have a lot more of it, to pursue a better overall squad of players. We were able to get the first step in improving facilities and it has actually come in our networking by improving our youth recruitment a little bit. It is a necessary step in the right direction as we look to set this club up for the future.

It's been a good start to the season as we picked up three wins and a draw away to a struggling Sporting CP side; a game we should have won. Dietz is having a field day at the moment and that included a 5 goal masterclass against Boavista as he stakes his claim to the golden boot early on. The Europa League participation money came in and that has meant we have been able to convince the board to finance some improvements namely to increase the Junior Coaching, and improve both Youth and Training facilities, which is a big step in the right direction.

We are absolutely cooking on gas at the moment as we win all games in the month including our first ever European tie against Hungarian opposition. The incredible thing about the start to the season has been just how bad Sporting and FC Porto have been. I mean Sporting haven't been very good by FC Porto are bordering on a shambles at this early stage and they already look out of the title race at this early stage. On the pitch the two main men up front N'Diaye and Dietz have moved onto 10 and 11 goals already and they are looking very lethal in front of goal.

You get variety but you lose the dynamics of a group stage, where you going up against particular teams. I am also not a big fan of it to be honest.

We are absolutely flying at the moment, as we go the whole month perfect. That includes hosting and beating FC Porto, who are having a torrid season and then beating Benfica at the Estadio da Luz to take the leadership of the league. It has been a really weird season, Sporting and Porto are absolutely nowhere floundering in mid-table and we seem to be possessed at the moment, winning absolutely everything. The winning has also continued in Europe as Slovan Bratislava and Dnipro to keep a one hundred percent record in the Europa League. We got through in the Portuguese Cup without issue and won our opener in the League Cup group stage, with Braga still to come in that one. Dietz has continued his goalscoring but suddenly have had quite a few goalscorers pop up with Kevin Cannavo, Bahia and Aouameur just some of the scorers this month. Long may this form continue.

It was mostly to do with money, this way they can have two extra group games and an extra round of games. More games = more money. Presume another European competition would have some real dross in it and presume that wouldn't be attractive to the sponsors. Secondly I think it was the top clubs that put pressure on having this format, since it is more likely that they can all get through and have less likelihood of the weaker teams managing to upset another team in the group stages.

Presume another European competition would have some real dross in it and presume that wouldn't be attractive to the sponsors. Secondly I think it was the top clubs that put pressure on having this format, since it is more likely that they can all get through and have less likelihood of the weaker teams managing to upset another team in the group stages.

oh man i wish Platini never became president and instead Beckenbauer became the UEFA President in 2007

Imagine on what UEFA would have been Like had Beckenbauer been the UEFA President

UEFA And FIFA are ruined football for no god damn reason

We continue to be top of the league as the form in the league continues to be pretty brilliant. Benfica are just 3 points behind us and breathing down our necks, but for now we can bask in the uninterrupted view from the top of the league. We did lose this month in the Europa League as Fiorentina came to Evora and beat us 3-1. We were pretty bad in front of goal and probably could have done better but these things happen. There has been significant progress off the field as we continued to improve our youth recruitment and convinced the board to find our first affiliate which is fellow Alentejo side Estrela Vendas Novas. At the moment we don't really have really many good prospects to help them out, but in the future we should be able to help them out a lot with our youngsters. The plan continues to be to improve the club facilities and infrastructure and hopefully we can continue the results both domestically and in Europe. The money from Europe to be honest has been extremely useful in keeping us in a nice financial position.

The fight for the title as I have now to call it is heating up. We were very good again this month but we did host Benfica and they did get their revenge for us beating them in Lisbon as they won 2-0, but they immediately handed us back a lifeline as they drew to Boavista. While they sit top of the league, we have a game in hand that if we win will take us back top of the league. I should note now that I have absolutely no idea what on earth is happening at Sporting CP this season, they are absolutely hopeless. Porto have more less recovered although the title for them is gone, and they might have trouble even catching us. At the moment a Champions League spot for next season is starting to look increasingly likely, and that would be an amazing achievement for us in just our second top flight season. We had the youth intake and it looks alright, the graphic is relative to our current crop of players so, if they are saying some of them are good there is a chance that some of them are pretty good. We managed again this month to convince the board to increase the Junior Coaching budget again, so we continue to improve the infrastructure at the club and that will continue for the coming seasons.
