AI transfers

Unsure if this is a bug, or just me. But, I was Man Utd for 5 years. All the big teams come in regularly for 2 of my players. Always low balling at around 70-80 million. They won’t budge above. I leave and join another team. Next transfer window both these players leave Man Utd for 120m and 136m. But I can’t get anywhere near that figure as a player. 
Has anyone else had this issue or could offer some decent advice.

There's a few Toobers shows ways to mitigate this but it's messy and too convulated/time-consuming/annoying to be honest.

In one of my saves Man City bought Miker Merino for 4 mln euro in first transfer window, so it can go both ways.

In FM2021 I tested AI bids, and i'm pretty sure theres hard coded max bid values dependent on CA/PA/Rep.

I think it’s linked to a few factors… manager rep compared to yours. Club rep. Current form. If the manager likes you. Then the ai takes this equation and comes up with an offer.
