I'm sure it won't last, but great to have this many points on the board early. Academy Spotlight. The only academy graduate to play in these early days is Adam Kowalczyk. He's a natural in M(RL), a position that I don't use. I've been retraining him as a CWB(L), which he's unhappy about. But because we lack depth in that position he's come off the bench 4 times and made one start. His average rating this season has been 6.60. Our previous 2 games against Lech were 1-2 losses and I was expecting something similar this time around. But I'll take a win against one of the top teams! @Hanys I wish I knew how to get my guys to play like this every game. Maybe Lech were too complacent and once we scored a couple their morale probably fell off a cliff. One thing is for certain, their GK had an absolute stinker. DomD Posted October 6, 2023 Author Share Posted October 6, 2023 Puchar Polski (Polish Cup) Unlike last season, we had a very favorable draw for the first round of the cup. Facing 4th tier side Wissa Szczuczyn meant we could give some of our fringe and youth players a run out. Kowalczyk and Mazur both started and both had assists, Kowalczyk with 2. Unfortunately I had to take Mazur off right before the half because another of my players got sent off (2 yellows). Andrzej Krasuski (Y1d) a D(C) who I'm training as a DM made his debut. He has some great mental stats, but passing 1 and heading 4 mean he'll might never become a regular starter. (too bad) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

But his Casual personality probably means that he'll never reach it. Got his debut because of an injury crisis that we're going through right now. I'm sure things will get more difficult at some point this season, but I'm enjoying the ride so far. Our balance is still good, but we've lost money that last two months. I rotated the squad a bit, but they are mid table in 1 Liga. Also the team who's stadium we're currently using. But we're still doing well in the league and safety is secured already I think. Unfortunately, it only went up half a star to Below Average. So here is the intake. Some interesting potential, but of course one of the best ones has a Low Determination personality. DomD Posted October 9, 2023 Author Share Posted October 9, 2023 January - April 2025 The new year saw our excellent form continue. At one point we were sitting in in 2nd place. But results have started to drop off, understandably. I even dared to dream of European football, but Poland only have 4 teams that qualify, one of which is the Cup winner. None of the top 3 are in the Cup final, so even if we manage to hold on to 4th that won't be enough. But I don't even expect us to be able to do that. We host Śląsk Wrocław next, who we've lost to all 4 times we've played against them. Then we go away to Wisła Kraków who are pushing Legia for the title. At first it felt like we missed out on European football because of dropped points in some games that we should have done better in. After spending most of last season on the treatment table Oskar Frygier really lit it up with 18 goals and 7 assists. Just the youth. Hopefully we can get some pushing for starting spots next season.
