If I buy fmm23 before 24 comes out, will it continue to work or will gameplay stop.

Always played on pc bit no longer have time, don't have netflix.

Ok cool, obviously I accept no updates or new features , transfers etc.

But you probably need to buy it before FMM24 comes out. SIGames normally set the old version to hidden when the new one comes out - so you can keep using it and can redownload it when you change phones, but it disappears for anyone who doesn't already own it and there's no way to buy it.

Just to mention this is a restriction on how the licences in the game operate rather than a 'decision' the studio makes (ie. in order to have licenced content in the game may be a 'cut-off' after which that product isn't allowed to be on sale*).

*If you think about it from the perspective of the leagues etc. it makes sense, ie. they might change their logos or similar and not want the old ones in common circulation years afterward etc.
