deez0r
The Save With Gibraltar now available to play I have decided to jump into a league I have never done. My aims are to firstly reach the top of the Gibraltar pyramid, then see if I can make any inroads into Europe and potentially get into a group stage. After that I will be aiming to build the nation up! The Club I have decided to go with the present that most men get at Christmas in Lynx! We currently only have
deez0r
Transfers In Signed a total of 6 players with a few more scheduled for January. My only mistake was I didn't realise we need 5 players trained in Gibraltar in our starting lineup! So we have a few players starting who are nowhere near up to the task in terms of current ability
Sizeman21
Once you get better facilities, that rule should be easy to work around. Good luck with Lynx! I love a good Gibraltar save!
deez0r
Mid-Season Review Results A great start to our season. 12 games in and we have only lost once. We aren't great at keeping the goals out but we are great at sticking them in. League Table We sit 3pts cleat of the Imps and 5 clear of Mons Calpe! If we could finish anywhere in the European spots it would be great Player Review - Daneo Caroo One of the better signings we have made in pre-season. He has 4 goals and 1 assist in 9 games and is performing well. Finances We are losing a lot of money this season so far (over £150k) so we do need to find a way of making money at some point which I presume would only be through Europe! Youth Intake Preview As expected nothing to look at here!

deez0r
End Of Season Review Results A really solid 2nd half of the season. Some of the signings which you will see below who came in January really helped us. League Table Well that couldn't have been much tighter! Level on points but a better goal difference and head to head record means we win the league! Rock Cup It wasnt to be as the team we narrowly beat to the title knocked us out in the semi final. January Transfers In We brought in some well needed quality to the team including 2 Gibraltar based players to enable us to better our starting 11! Rian Jamai Graeme Torilla Mirko Marmouget Douglas Santos Dimos Dimitriou Francis Gyamfi Dylan Borge Player Of The Season - Michael Negrette One of the players we had to start due to the 5 home grown player rule. He really stepped up though with 7 goals and 16 assists in 25 (2) games! Young Player Of The Season - Dylan Borge A signing we made in January to replace one of our home grown players up top. A little bit of potential here and he managed to score 9 goals and get 2 assists in only 9 games! Gibraltar Teams In Europe Lincoln Red Imps Well that was unexpected. A team in the group stages! Amazing performance to win 2 of their qualifiers and even managed to nick a point against Brann in the group stages! Magpies Unfortunately out in the first round of qualifiers in the conference league although did manage to pick up a draw in one of the legs. Europa FC Similar story here. Out in the first qualifier to Irish side Derry City. What does that mean in general? A jump of 7 places up in the competition ranking and a jump of 2 places in the European nation coefficients which means we now get another team in the first qualifying round of the conference league!
deez0r
Champions League Qualification Well I was not expecting this at all. In fact to show you how ridiculous it is lets have a look at our qualifiers: The first 2 teams in Qarabag and Milsami Orhei we were relatively comfortable and matched them in both legs. Now here is where we "rode our luck". In 3 of the 4 games against FCSB and AIK our new keeper was man of the match including a 10.0 rating away at AIK. This is frankly ridiculous but the money could make a huge difference to this save even though we will get battered in every game. An astonishing turn of events
deez0r
Improvements There was already a few other teams in our league at professional status so it was critical we could get this done as quick as possible. Our request for training facilities was turned down but we managed to convince them on youth facilities! Had to convince them on this but with our need to have 5 home grown in nation players the quicker we get this increased the better. Unfortunately youth recruitment was rejected

deez0r
Improvements We managed to get them to agree to training facilities! And another improvement in the junior coaching. Unfortunately no joy with youth recruitment yet!
deez0r
Mid-Season Review Results A great start followed by an almighty struggle in December. Injuries and suspensions really affected us here especially when it was for the better home grown in nation players! League Table We sit top but have struggled in the last month or so. The lack of quality home grown in nation players is really hurting us currently. I am off scouring the lands for improvements in these areas. Pepe Reyes Cup A poor start to the season as we lose in extra time to the Magpies in the Gibraltarian version of the super cup! Champions League As expected we are rock bottom with 6 defeats from 6. We did amazingly briefly hold the lead at St James' Park though! Transfers Out 4 players left. All 4 got some game time last year but with none of them being home grown and younger players brought in last season they were no longer required. In I struggled this summer in bringing players in. A couple of loans to bolster the team along with a free transfer and a small fee for Andrey. My main issue currently is trying to improve those trained in nation players which I wasnt able to do at all during the summer. Player Review - Graeme Torilla One of the home grown players I am currently using mainly at right back. 4 goals and 3 assists in 21 games is a good return. Gibraltar In Europe Lincoln Red Imps It wasnt to be for the Imps this season as they fell at the first stage with a close defeat to Georgian team Torpedo Kutaisi Magpies Magpies lost out comfortably to Georgian side Dinamo Batumi. deez0r
End Of Season Review Results Whilst we struggled in December we bounced back after some new signings and won every game in the league in the 2nd half of the season! League Table It ended up being a comfortable win for us in the end after a dodgy December! Rock Cup We make it a double with a cup win. A trio of 3-1 wins means we lift the Rock Cup! Champions League Well we managed to score at both St James's Park and Anfield! What a moment for the club even if we didnt pick any points up! Transfers In We managed to bring in 2 Gibraltarian players which improved our home grown players ability. The others I tried to start bringing in some 18 year olds who would become home grown in nation as well as some other players to improve the squad. This in turn really helped us in the back end of the season! Out Was never going to get game time so Nino left on a free! Player Of The Season - Michael Negrette Despite me trying to move him out of his home grown spot by signing Coombes somehow he just keeps performing. 8 goals and 16 assists in 19 (17) appearances is a great season! Young Player Of The Season - Lucas Ramirez The main reason we managed to get into the Champions League league stage. That alone was enough to win this award! Gibraltar Coefficients We have moved up a further 11 places. Thats 18 spots in 2 years which is great for us.

deez0r
Europe Champions League We managed to get through 2 rounds this year including an astonishing game away at Astana! Shakhtar are simply a step too far for us currently although an impressive draw on the 2nd leg! Europa League Well we are entertaining arent we? Two 6-3 wins means for a 2nd year in a row we will be playing European football!

deez0r
Mid Season Review Results Well this is what I will kind of expect moving forward. We should start to dominate from now on the home front. That is even with us having to play 5 home grown players who if this rule wasnt their wouldnt be in the first team at all. League Table Despite winning every single game we are only 5pts clear of the Imps who have only lost to us and drew 1 other game. Pepe Reyes Cup We seem cursed in this super cup. Magpies beat us AGAIN! Europa League Well some great results here. We were actually the better team at hearts before stealing an amazing point at Bilbao despite being battered. A win at home to Dinamo and Glentoran means we have 7pts from 6 games which is great but 2 tough games to finish off means I think we will finish just outside the knockout round spots. This is unexpected but we are going great thus far! Transfers Out Dimitriou threw the head up when I turned down an offer from QPR. So ended up selling him for a very nominal fee. The other 3 I couldnt fit into our CL/Europa League squads and became unhappy so where sold on. In Some solid additions in here as well as adding a few more slightly better Gibraltarian players. I have also signed some more 18 year olds who if they stay for 3 years will become home grown. Player Review - Joe Trevino One of our best signings in the summer. He will become home grown and has slotted in brilliantly so far. He has 17 goals and 6 assists in just 21 games! Home Grown Players We currently have 7 players who are home grown in our first team. Out of these I dont think any would start if the rule wasnt in place. Torrilla, Britto, Caull and Coombes can do a job but the others are 2 star players at this level. We have 9 players who will become home grown in our first team. Ramirez became unhappy as I had to drop him from the Europa league squad. I am going to play him in the league in the hope he becomes happy again. Gyamfi becomes home grown this summer and he has much better CA/PA than the current home grown players. Next season 4 more will become home grown which will really help us! Gibraltar In Europe Magpies 2 tight games against my local side in real life! St Josephs Nice to see them go through 1 round. Unfortunately the draw wasnt kind and they managed to keep it respectable against Sporting! Europa FC Disappointing here in what was an easily winnable tie. I feel that if the Imps had managed to finish in top 4 they would have got past here!
deez0r
Gibraltar Eligibility Would love if these young players I bring in all start to change their Nationality to play for Gibraltar! deez0r
End Of Season Results An unbeaten season although we rode our luck in a couple of games! League Table It was comfortable in the end but the Imps were only 5pts behind us going into the Championship Group! Rock Cup There would be no double this season as the Imps knocked us out in the semis en route to winning the competition. Europa League We did brilliantly in the group stage. 2 wins and a draw gave us 7pts. This really should help our coefficient Transfers Out A few of the older players in Boula and Blas leaving as they are no longer required. Villar complained about playing time and Jamai/Allen didnt leave up to their potential. In 4 more players coming across the pond. Again all of them are 18 and will become home grown. 2 of which are in and around the starting 11 already. Player Of The Season - Michael Negrette In what could be his last season for us he really stepped up again. He might have the best of ability but he really has performed for us. 4 goals and 16 assists for us this season is an incredible return. Young Player Of The Season - Joe Trevino The young American has a great breakthrough season getting 19 goals and 7 assists in 25 (3) appearances. Gibraltar Coefficients More good news as our league pops up another 11 places to 85th!

deez0r
Mid-Season Review Results Still undefeated and only 2 draws should leave us comfortably clear.... League Table But we are actually level on points with the Imps albeit with a game in hand. Pepe Reyes Cup We finally win this again after an awful run in it! Europa League Well we have been simply great here. 3 wins 2 draws and a defeat means we may have a good chance of European football after Xmas! We currently sit in 12th and a big 5pts above last place in playoff spots Hajduk Transfers Out Some players we brought in but didnt work out in terms of potential In I wont dwell too much on these as 95% of them are 18 year olds I am hoping reach their potential and become home grown for us. Player Review - Steve Stewart One of the few signings who came straight into the first team. 2 goals and 4 assists in 9 games thus far. Gibraltar In Europe Lincoln Red Imps The Imps managed to get through one qualifying stage before losing out to Omonoia! Europa FC Europa also managed to get through one round on penalties but Molde where a step too far. Magpies And to complete the treble Magpies also managed to get past Welsh side Llanelli before a very respectable draw with Sparta Prague at home before being drubbed away. deez0r
End Of Season Results Another unbeaten season here with just a couple of additional draws to add to the sea of green! League Table Similar to last year the Imps pushed us hard until the final 3rd of the league when they fell back. Rock Cup We win the Rock Cup this year although it did require extra time in the quarter finals away at Europa! Europa League What an incredible run we had this season. Firstly making it to the groups and then not only qualifying from the groups but also beating Club Brugge in a knockout round before Benfica comfortably beat us. Transfers Out Lincoln came raiding on deadline day. Both Marino and Bermudez where unhappy and the other 2 where youngsters who needed game time. Trevino we lost to a ridiculous release clause! In 3 youngsters and a young Gibraltarian to help with home grown players. Player Of The Season - Carlos Massanga A great first season for the Mozambican with us scoring an impressive 25 goals in 24 (9) appearances along with 9 assists! Young Player Of The Season - Goncalo Pinto One of the youngsters we brought from America and he had a great breakthrough season getting 12 goals and 9 assists in 16 (7) appearances. Gibraltar Coefficients A further 12 places have been climbed in the European competition rankings which is great. This has led to.... An additional team going straight into the 2nd qualifying round! deez0r
Improvement More facilities work! deez0r
Mid Season Results Results Still unbeaten. That is 2 and a half seasons but in the Europa FC game we were 3-0 down going into the 88th minute. We scored then and then in the 95th and 96th minute to rescue our unbeaten run! League Table Like most seasons we seem to not be able to pull away from teams early on despite our dominance! Pepe Reyes Cup It was far from straightforward but we win the super cup again Champions League We managed to qualify for the Champions League. Outside of the Djurgardens game where we required a big comeback in the 2nd leg it was quite straightforward. What followed was the biggest win in the history of the club beating Liverpool 4-3 in the league phase. We have also beaten SC Austria and had really good draws with Slavia Prague and Sevilla We sit just inside the top 24 but with PSG and Napoli to come unfortunately we will fall out of this. Transfers Out 2 young players went out on loan and our old favourite Negrette is off on loan before he leaves at the end of this season. Aleman and Beier where both not improving at all and so where sold off for minimal profit. In Nearly all the players signed where young players for the future. Tereso below is our biggest ever signing. Good current ability and solid potential as well! Player Review - Alex Vega One of the many players to have come across the pond. Vega is one of them who really has developed into a very strong player for us. Being utilised mainly at right back he has played nearly 50 games for us so far. Youth Intake Preview This is the first time we have had anything above an E! Please give me something good! Gibraltar In Europe Lincoln Red Imps A tough draw here and they gave them a good scare away from home leading until Europa FC This was a very winnable tie for the but they couldnt make their dominance count and lost on penalties Magpies Another disappointing result here against a beatable side

TheLutterworthFox
Just read through the whole of this. What an amazing time you've had so far. I did a Gibraltar save on FM23 and it took me a good 4 or 5 seasons to even get through a qualifying round of the Champions League so to get into the league phase that quickly is incredible work from yourself. As you can see the hardest bit is to get the other teams in Gibraltar doing well in Europe, I ended up filtering money down to the other teams after maxing out our facilities to try and get them improving quicker. Hopefully you start getting better intakes soon. Have you had a new TV deal yet for the league? This is one thing that really helped me, a whopping TV deal came through once I qualified into the Champions League proper, helped the whole league out with shed loads of money

deez0r
End Of Season Results Results Another unbeaten season for us! League Table Similar to past few seasons we pulled away in the 2nd half! Rock Cup Again in one of these rounds we required extra time otherwise it was quite straightforward Champions League It was an amazing season as we qualified for the champions league and got 2 wins in the league phase, including an amazing win against Liverpool. We finished only 2pts outside the qualification spots Transfers Out Well Vega threw the head up and wanted to leave and was upsetting the team. He was our starting right back and was tough to replace. We have a 40% of next transfer fee. He is now valued between £500k-6.4m In More young 18 year olds coming in as well as me spending a bit of money, one on a Gibraltarian player in Woods from Forest and a panic right back signing in Gamarra! I am planning on doing a squad review this summer. Player Of The Season - Carlos Massanga He is simply tearing this league up. 34 goals and 11 assists in 27 (6) appearances. However is now transfer listed by request and unfortunately will be leaving this summer for a fairly nominal fee. Young Player Of The Season - Omer Sari Another youngster brought in who stepped up quite well this month. 15 goals and 6 assists in 19 (3) appearances. Gibraltar Coefficients Up another 12 spots in terms of reputation in the competitions ranking This has also meant we have moved up 5 places to 28th in the coefficients table. This has led to another improvement in a 2nd team jumping straight into the 2nd qualifying round!

deez0r
Transfers Out A lot of transfers out this summer. I will break these down. Firstly the loans out are all those players who cannot become home grown with us but need the game time. This can only benefit them and us in terms of their progression. We then had a clear out of those players which werent developing the way we wanted or else where getting in the way of others who were developing. Myles, Kremcheck, Stewart, Ugarte, Joseph, Perez, Fandl, Van Den Bergh, Fernandez, Orozco and Sosa all fit that bill. Fortin was our first choice keeper for quite a while but we have quite a few younger players with good potential who can also become home grown so he left. Now onto the slightly bigger fees. Massanga you know about, we didnt want to sell but he forced our hands and at least we got a good sell on clause. Tereso was similar. We managed to squeeze £2.5m out of Sporting for him. Ure also through the head up and wanted to leave and I managed to get 850k from Chicago but unfortunately no sell on fee. These were all first choice players but we got decent money for them. Gamarra was a panic buy in January and we let him go in the summer. The one you wont recognise is Palazuelo's. You are probably wondering where he came from? Well we signed him at the start of the summer but couldnt fit him into the CL squad for qualifiers so he requested a transfer and was sold! In Once again nearly all of these players where 18 or below and brought in for potential and to become homegrown at club! There is a few who join the first team and we spent £1m on a player! Coupled with 2 very solid loans I believe our team is in a strong position this season!
deez0r
Squad Review U23 I wont go too deep into this but wanted to show you the type of potential we have in our u23 squad currently. With nearly all of these due to become homegrown we are in a good position for the future! There are some here which could definitely be of use to the first team but would rather they play games at this level for now. First Team Goalkeepers Took a slight risk selling our best goalkeeper in Fortin in the summer. However he was only 3 star current and potential ability. With Ramirez being homegrown now and Alfonsi due to be homegrown next summer I believe it was time to run with these 2 for now. Right Backs Bounguendza was going to get a lot of game time this season but when a loan offer game in I decided to take it so that the homegrown issue didnt come into play and he didnt play much. Cochran and Heap are both more than good enough for us currently. Left Backs Tenore I am trying to loan back to America but not getting much joy currently. Britto is in the first team simply due to being homegrown. This will be his last season at the club. He has been a great servant and has had a great start to this season. Hudock will be the main rotated player when Yeto, who we got on loan from Villareal, needs rested. Centre Backs We are well stacked in this area. 2 of our high potential players are out on loan. A few others will be utilised more in the full backs area. That leaves us with Jiminez and Munox who will be our main starting pair along with Woods, Roumain (who would have went on loan bar his homegrown status coming up at end of the season) and DePuy being the backups. Centre Midfielders This season will probably be the last for a couple of players who are being kept around for homegrown reasons. Corcoran has had a lot of injury issues and lost his potential and Carrizo is really stagnating. This is an area I will probably look to improve next season with some quality. Mohammadi and Stewart are the main starters and I am going to start giving game time to Hayirliogu further back moving forward. Wingers An area we are really well stacked in is on the wings. Gyamfi has complained that I havent strengthened the first team which is frankly ridiculous. I hope he stays as he has been somewhat a cult legend so far. No worries in these areas for a few years! Strikers A few players here where this will probably be their last season with the club as we have a good amount of players becoming homegrown in 2029. Belaj has been a great servant for us and Healy will probably leave in the summer. Other than that we have great cover in this area. If anyone wants to see any of these players please let me know. Also anyone doing saves like this please load USA! The amount of players I am getting from there is crazy!
