Winless month as we wrap up the year before winter break. We are 5 points above relegation places. I am quite confident that we can pull through. The players are still improving, the ones that we have introduced from last intake. 

 

Polish FA Cup

We confidently go into quarter finals where we will play against toughest opposition out of them all. A shocker as Baltyk Gdynia from 4th tier is also in QFs.

A mixed month back after the break, But we played Rakow and Lechia who is shockingly good this season. 11 games left and we are 7 points above relegation places.

A narrow loss at home, but we earn about 250K out of it so not too bad.

We have had quite a lot of suspensions for Pogon game. We then turn around to win against Zaglebie and Slask, what is amazing considering Slask sits 4th and Zaglebie finished 2nd last season. 
We then get smacked by Notec and win against Wisla Plock to assure our safety for this season. 
3 games left and we don't really play for anything anymore.

 After a difficult start we managed to pick ourselves up for really strong second half of the season. I think we played a really young team at the beginning who have been developing the more we played. Next season can be really good if they keep developing as they are. 

 

Polish FA Cup 

 Another good run in the cup. If we had beaten Notec we would have had a really good chance of getting the title as the opposition wasn't as strong.

S34 - Season Preview

We are predicted dead last, however. I think that we can finish about mid table like last year. I think first half of last season was pretty poor, but our youth players are only getting better. 
This season we are joined by 
Stal Mielec - They have been a jo-jo club for the last 7-8 seasons. 
Odra Opole - Last time they were in top flight was a single season 3 years ago and this is only their second time they managed to get promoted. 

Radunia - This is their debut season in Ekstraklasa. They had their ups and downs this save but they certainly made some progress.

This is a very decent start to the league ! losses against LKS and Motor have been narrow, and we should have won both. All in all I am happy with how the young players developed. I'll show you a couple of standouts. 

 

Zalewski(33c) He is still 16 ! Scored 4 in 5 so far this season. I just hope that we can keep him. 

 

 

Nawotka(32A) was a standout in the last intake and also still being 16, is developing quite nicely.

We have made little money from some fringe players who did have their part getting us up to Ekstraklasa.

So last season, they have only finished 6th in First Division and have been eliminated in Promotion Playoff Semi Final. 

 

This season however they are already top of the table, it wasn't however so good at the beginning, I think they after 3 games they sat 11th with 1 win 1 draw and 1 loss. They did pickup the pace since then.

 

They are of course favourites for promotion, however their salary spending per year is not as big difference to the rest of the league as I would expect. 

 

They are doing pretty well financially , at the point when they were relegated they were in red. Money is quickly declining however. 

They sold players worh of £28M what probably got them financially stable again when they got relegated

We started the month off well, however our keeper got injured and then we have been struggling. Anyway losing against Slask and Jagiellonia with a 16 yo keeper was by only 1 goal not too bad.

Finances are pretty decent. I am tempted to ask for some facilities but I am a bit worried that the board will start accepting some bid for our players if the bank balance will get too low.

We have been playing really well so far. Gornik and Radunia games i expected that we would do well as they are struggling but a draw against Notec is massive and also a 4-1 win against Lechia away, who last season finished the league in Europe places. We currently sit 7th what is a shocer and potentially in the chase for europe places next season ????? It is fair to say that we should be safe this season from relegation unless something horrendous happens in transfer window.

Decent win against 2nd tier Wisla, however a win against 3rd tier Siarka was too close to comfort. Gornik up next.

We are still doing pretty well. Currently shockingly sitting 5th as we approach last month of the year. Nawotka is being sensational scoring almost every game.

Loss against Cracovia, I rotated massively due to fitness issues after the cup game, and I forgot to rest the players. We get back at it straight away with win against Zaglebie. 
At half way stage we are currently sitting 4th!!

Seriously though, decent progress. I'm shocked Notec didn't win the league last season though after being so dominant for so long, I'd have assumed even the AI couldn't mess that up.

Thanks, a lot! We had 2 really good intakes recently what helps. 
If I am comparing the my Stomil run to Notec run, I feel like we are progressing at similar speed. BUT with Notec we went up quickly to 2nd Tier and got stuck there for a bit and with Stomil we were stuck at 3rd tier for a bit before progressing straight through to Ekstraklasa. 

I am quite shocked about Notec as well, prior to last season where they didn't win the league, their manager was poached by some other club and whoever they hired couldn't take it, add on to that the fact that they are spending ton of money in wages and feels like they need do cuts every season. 

This year it looks much better for them but looks like they might not win the title again.  AI managers at their best lol wasted a club with perfect finances and set up for future

We pickup where we left off before winter break and win 4 straight games Albeit Pogon was a lucky one, all others we were better teams and deserved to win. Again, Nawotka is carrying us forward. 

 

Transfers

I am please to say we did get some transfer money, Not much, but for a fringe player its decent. Stefanski was a backup option for full back for us, I never really tried giving him much first team football as he was lacking development. £275K + 40% sell on if he ever gets sold.

Finances dropped a bit since we had 1.5 months of no football, meaning no gate receipts.

Not a good month for us. We should have won against Kotwica, but we weren't good enough to score. Slask and Jagiellonia were sort of expected, we are still pushing way above our grade and are still holding up to 3rd place. If we can hold to European places this season that will be huge financially.

Amazing month for us. Zalewski is back from injury and Nowotka in great form. Highlight of this month must be a win against our old club and a win against Lechia. 
As Jagiellonia ran away with the title we still have chance to finish 2nd as we sit 1 point behind Notec. With Rakow winning the cup there is one less european spot that goes to league however I think we can make european spots this season!

S34 - Season review

 Crazy season with us finishing in CL places ! I think last season we gambled and played a lot of youth players straight from the intake and this season they have developed massively and turned up. Adding to that some players that were already quite decent for our team and very little rotation during the season, here ware in 2nd place ABOVE Notec Czarnkow ! Great season, and I feel like next one can be similar if we keep the players. 

Jagiellonia wins the title again by massive difference. They did have Tycoon takeover about 7 seasons ago so this is expected that someone is pushing the money in constantly. 

I think this could be the first time that all 3 teams that were promoted get relegated this season.

S35 - Season Preview

We are still predicted dead last this season.  Also suprise at the top where Jagiellonia is tipped to win the league again. 
This season we are joined by Legia who comes back after 2 year spell in 2nd tier

Wisla Plock after a single season in 2nd tier spell. 

KGHM Zaglebie after 3 season spell in 2nd tier. 

 

We are no longer last in terms of reputations in the league. Yet we are last 2,5 star club before going 3 star

We are going to get improvement on that in couple of months to lift us up to around 13000 seater stadium.  I will ask for another expansion straight away however as it seems like we could be selling this one out as well. 

 

Sponsorship

Although we made some progress, we are still last. Look at Jagiellonia with their Tycoon money.  Oh and Rakow also had Tycoon takeover last year.. didn't notice that. We have 2 tycoon clubs in the league now. 

 

Transfers

Well, Here it is. Our main man goes to Rakow for potential 15M. He was great for us, but we can't reject that kind of money at the moment as we need to improve the facilities and expand the stadium. We need to find another youth player to take over from him.

We've had a bit of false start here. didn't win in the first 4 games. We severely miss Nowotka who was our main goal scorer, his replacement is not up to the level yet. 

 

UEFA Champions League

Anderlecht was much better then us. We drop to Europa League but fixtures do no look optimistic to me.

Well, Finances are not a problem anymore until we spend it on facilities.

I've been away from these forums for a while, so let me get this straight. You took tiny club Noteć Czarnków and using their own youth only won the Champions League twice?!?!?! And now you're trying to do the same thing with a second club in Poland?

Yes ! I've had lots of success with Notec as some decent youth players were coming through, and I was really pushing for them not to be sold. 

I think this time around it will be much more difficult to do, as at some point I have added top 5 leagues to be playable so of course they produce more better players, but at Stomil I would really like to build a new stadium. Maybe it will be named after me by the time we gather the money? 

After I finish the save I feel like I might simulate few years ahead to see what is going to happen  I never played such a long save. 

I also have an idea of continuing this save after I get bored at Stomil, by just picking another club, and max out their facilities (with using Youth Only system) . After that completes, move on to the next one. Like a Youth Only build a nation type of thing.

Month of struggle. I was rotating very much for European games and these are the results as we might have good starting 11 but we do not have any backups. 

 

 

UEFA Europa League

Played the strongest team in both games and managed to win both. I think I need to change the rotations and play strongest team in league rather then in the UEL.
