Similar premise to my Tongue save except I've switched 8th tier Westside & 10th tier Dingwall Vics so that I can start in the bottom Highland league with a club based in the Western Isles, and Barvas, where we're located has the highest percentage of Gaelic speakers in Scotland so we'll be going youth only to try and keep that going! I have also reduced Westsides' reputation from 75 to 50 to match the other teams in the league and lowered all of their facilities to 1 so that we're really going to start from the bottom.

I'll sign any grey players so we can keep having a full squad until that first intake, and two of our four best players are in positions I don't use!

Oh, a fellow restarter! Were you finding the last one too easy so decided to go with more restrictions?

I'm ba**s-deep in the editor preparing for a new save, adding Ireland and Wales to this Scottish db. I'll be starting in the 13th tier again as well, probably with Shetland.

Limiting yourself to Gaelic speakers is genius! Best of luck with that :brock:

That's me! It wasn't that I was finding it too easy, it was that I actually wouldn't be able to progress anymore. The players at better clubs wouldn't join us on loan and I'd reached the best players I could get from clubs beneath us so it would have been relying on youth, of which I didn't get any.

I wouldn't say I'm limiting myself to Gaelic speakers because I'm now going fully youth only so no signing players from Ness, Stornoway, Tarbert or Tong but I will be signing players from off the island that come through the academy.

I look forward to your new save! :D

£10,000 doesn't put us back into the black, but it certainly helps as we win our first silverware of the save in the Highland Amateur Cup! We managed to put four past North Caley side St. Duthus as well so we can be proud of that whilst we've also managed to seal ourselves a nice looking promotion already as well!

So we finish as league winners with 54 points, Highland Amateur Cup Winners, Scottish Amateur Cup Semi Finalists & Jock Mackay Cup Quarter Finalists, two points better off than with Tongue United where I was actually signing players, make it make sense!

Two 2-0 wins to finish the season, perfect! And with this good youth intake the team wants a top half finish next season which is possible, since Portree Utd who finished 3rd and won promotion last season have now won the division above as well whilst Sleat & Strath and Melvich suffer back-to-back relegations.

I guess that intake was pretty good considering that we're predicted right up in 5th as a newly promoted side! Not that we have the money anyway but at this point I might as well see how far we can get without improving the facilities at all.

Through in two cups! Already better than last season! :D And we also don't have an early lead in the league. We have now got a new Highland Amateur Cup record, since we went out on penalties last season it was technically a draw, so we are yet to 'lose'.

Gerry was a backup goalkeeper, no biggie, we still have two.

We're still getting the niggling injuries but they're really not damaging us at all as we now sit 14 points inside the promotion spots and still unbeaten with a goal difference twice as good as the next best club!

Another excellent intake but a 3rd one with no A rated players.

I really didn't think we'd hold on, especially with us being against 4th placed Kyleakin & 2nd placed CSK Highfield in the final two games of the season, but I needn't have worried as we're promoted to the top tier of Highland amateur football following an undefeated league campaign! :D

We destroyed 5th placed Kirkwall Rovers before completely dropping the ball against Stornoway Athletic in 7th place but we're still a point ahead of Bonar Bridge and their goal difference of -2 where we also now have a game in hand.

17bce4200867fa8c1bf45ebf79cded92.png

We have an A rated player! Unfortunately it's a winger which means he'll need re-training to either wingback or striker.
