Why am I having a month break in October each season?

Not sure if there is something obvious I'm missing but in my last two seasons of my save there is a month long gap between fixtures from mid-September to mid October. Went back and looked and it has only started happening in the last two years, both of which I'm in the Champions League for so not sure if it is related to that- although it seems like every team has this break, Europe or not.

There is the normal international break but then no games for two weeks afterwards.

Last season it ran from 19th September to 17th October. This season it was 18th September to 16th October.

Hello, starting from 2026 onwards there is a new international calendar which has 4 successive fixtures in that period.

This means there is a gap between club fixtures, it's not necessarily a month break for everyone but it can be for some clubs such as yourself. 

This is an intentional change as it is based on the real life planned schedule from 2026 onwards.

Just arrange some friendlies thats what i tend to do,keeps the players match sharpness up
