TerminalPortugal
YMSC BLUEBIRDS (BERMUDA) SEASON 2063/64 CINGULAR WIRELESS PREMIER LEAGUE We managed to win the league again this year, but PHC Zebras were right there until the end of the season. Our 3-1 win over them pretty much was where it went wrong for PHC Zebras, as they were two points behind us before that. Bermuda has started to turn into an arms race, the PHC team is full of Brazilians just like ours which is interesting it made me wonder whether the AI eventually starts to see what we are doing and joins in to be competitive. Anyway 50 points for us. BERMUDIAN FA CUP It got a little bit silly towards the latter stages of this tournament as we won the semi final 13-0 and the final 8-1 as we simply outclassed the opposition. Another 20 points on the board. SQUAD The squad is Brazil in Bermuda now, we have continued to improve the team to the point where domestic talent has no chance of playing in the team. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We are not less the 100 points away from the total requirement for the leg, so we are leaving YMSC Bluebirds right after the final and looking for a new job after another double win. I would rather not come back to Bermuda, because the arms race is really beginning to heat up, and if we have to go to another club, there are no guarantees we can topple Bluebirds or PHC Zebras, but never say never. TerminalPortugal
CD WALTER FERRETI (NICARAGUA) SEASON 2063/64 Having just finished the 63/64 season in Bermuda, we were in a job in under 2 weeks in Nicaragua at Walter Ferreti and back in the 63/64 season. They were one of the bigger sides in Nicaragua having won the league title 9 times in the past, but had been on a downward curve and were now sitting just outside the relegation places in the clausura stage. It was a risk, but I backed myself to get them safe and hopefully push the next season. If it went horribly wrong it might cost me a lot of points however. LIGA PRIMERA We reacted well to my entry into the club and went unbeaten for the remainder of the season. I believe in Nicaragua there is a final playoff for the title, so that will be between Real Esteli and Chinandega who won the Apertura but they also finish 1st and 2nd, so I don't know if its the Apertura and Clausura winners or 1st and 2nd in the main table. Anyway we finished 4th in the Clausura which gave us 6th overall and I am happy with that. We took over after the Ocotal loss. We actually looked very good against Real Esteli when we played them so I am hopeful going forward. SQUAD We haven't touched the squad, but it might be tough to improve much as we are really up against a small wage budget and have very little room to move on it. We will see what we can do. I suspect we might be able to challenge even with the current squad especially how we performed after I took over. We are bit thin up front and in several other places so wouldn't mind a few reinforcements. MANAGER PROFILE MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
CD WALTER FERRETI (NICARAGUA) SEASON 2064/65 PRIMERA DIVISION DE NICARAGUA The Nicaraguan league is split into the Apertura and Clausura, but I don't think it really makes any difference apart from the top two in the final league table play each other in the final at the end of the season. We managed to win both the Apertura and Clausura without too much difficulty, occassionally we would have a drop in form but it would soon pick up again. In the Playoff final we played Chinandega in a two legged home and away affair and we managed to win both games 3-1 to win the Nicaraguan title and 100 points, which completes the leg. SQUAD We reinforced the team where we could but on paper we were still worse than pre-season favourites Real Esteli. Manuelzinho who we brought in was amazing this season with 31 goals and 24 assists. He might well be the best player we have had so far in this career. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS NA9 is done and dusted and without too much issue. We had a long run in Bermuda before completing the leg in Nicaragua. We will be leaving all that behind and will be moving to NA8, which consists of Curacao, Grenada, Barbados and Aruba. So we are going back to the island. In fact I think Walter Ferreti was the first club we have managed that wasn't on an island. MAP Link to Map SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
SV VESTA (CURACAO) SEASON 2065/66 After leaving Nicaragua, we were out of work for about 4 months until we managed to find a job in Curacao at SV Vesta. They were newly promoted, but were predicted to finish 5th. They had half a squad and no staff and with only a month until the season kicked off, and the transfer deadline likely before that I knew it would be cutting it fine to get major improvements into the team. Against my better judgement and keen to get back into it I decided to accept the job offer. MCB FIRST DIVISION The Curacao league is divided into two stages, the league where the top six qualify for the second stage which is the Champions Playoff, where you then get five games; one against each of the other qualifiers and the top side is crowned champions. We had major problems with the squad for a good section of the league season, but it didn't really affect us much as managed to push to top spot in the first stage. In the Champions Playoff we lost our first game against Barber 3-0, which meant if we were to have any chance we would need to be perfect for the remainder of the stage, and we managed to do that. Going into the final game we were still left in a really tough situation, we would need to go away to Jong Holland, and needed to overturn and 7 goal difference between the sides. Since we were playing them on the final day, it meant we needed to win by 4 clear goals. I thought we had pretty much no chance, but we absolutely blitzed them inside 20 minutes and then held on to take the title. In the end it will probably be one of the most memorable titles we win on our journey, and probably one of the luckiest in truth, the likelihood of being able to overturn that goal difference seemed very unlikely and somehow we managed to do it on the final day. All that means we start with 100 points. SQUAD When we arrived we had 13 players at the club, and could barely field a team. The window closed before we could bring anyone in, but would fortunately open again in December early in the season. We were actually pretty good up until then, which surprised me and eventually we were able to get in some decent reinforcements. This team is still only classed as the 5th best in the league so we went some to pull of the title win. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS That went right down to the wire and somehow against all the odds we managed to pull through and get the title and 100 points on the board. That experience has actually influenced my decision to leave the club after the league win as the problem is we would have to do it all again, and at the end of the day the maximum amount of points available to us would be only 50 points and that just doesn't seem worth it. We will move on, and to be honest I might consider staying clear of Curacao as I don't like the format much. TerminalPortugal
SV RIVER PLATE ARUBA (ARUBA) SEASON 2066/67 We were out of work for almost 2 years, we had interviews but were rejected a couple of times for the job, this could be the fact that we have resigned a lot from clubs coming to play against us. However it was the second rejection that actually landed us here. River Plate are one of the weaker sides in the country, but their manager had managed to navigate them to 5th place in the league. Another club Nacional, a bigger club were sitting bottom, this was the club we applied for and were rejected in favour of the River Plate manager. This then opened up the River Plate position, and we decided to take that. This was a rare opportunity, we were part way through a season and still with an outside chance of taking home the league title due to managerial movements. CAMPEONATO AVB ARUBA BANK We managed to conquer the title in the end. Aruba has a very similar system to Curacao where the league ends and then we have a Champions Playoff, and this time it worked in our favour, as while we managed to improve form we would finish in 3rd place, but for the Champions Playoff we were unstoppable as we dismantled Dakota twice and that was the difference maker when it came to the title picture. We claim a league title after just a few months of being at River Plate Aruba. Interestingly the former manager, was not able to save Nacional Aruba and they were relegated, which wasn't the best career move. 100 Points gained. SQUAD The squad is pretty much as it was when we came apart from Andrezinho, who was a free transfer and could join the club out of the transfer window. We can definitely improve in a lot of areas. The striker department especially is a really weakness for us. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We were out of work for 2 years so we lost time there, but we picked up a title after just a few months, so we really only lose one season searching for a club. We are now on 200 points and well on our way. We will be staying at River Plate as there is a cup competition in Aruba, so there are a few extra points on offer that were not there for Curacao. TerminalPortugal
SV RIVER PLATE ARUBA (ARUBA) SEASON 2067/68 CAMPEONATO AVB ARUBA BANK We didn't have much trouble winning the league, winning the first league by 12 points and then the Champions Playoff by 4 points. Another 50 points in the bag. TORNEO COPA BETICO CROES We won the cup without much issue. We didn't really have to play any of the big boys so it made things easier. We get 40 points for the win. SQUAD We improved the team where we could but when we started the season we were only expected to finish 5th place. I think that improved to 3rd place by the end of the season, but we are not the best team in the country so we have overperformed to pull off what we did. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We have done well at River Plate Aruba and got points pretty quickly, but we are now done here as the points are going to start to get pretty sparse and thin. Hopefully it won't be years until we get our next job. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
QUEEN'S PARK RANGERS (GRENADA) SEASON 2068/69 We weren't out of work for long before we found our next management position in Grenada. We were to take over Queen's Park Rangers one of the best sides in the country but some way behind the best side in the country Paradise. We would do what we could to bridge the gap to them. GFA PREMIER DIVISION We were comfortable winners of the league, the loss on the final day against Paradise made it look a little closer, but we were well clear all season of them. The gap below the top two is a chasm so it really will probably be a two horse race next season. Anyway 100 points gained. WAGGY T-KNOCKOUT FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT We managed to win the Grenadian equivalent of the FA Cup, as we took Sunsetters down in the final quite easily. 40 points gained. SQUAD The squad was good before we arrived but we did need to bring a few new faces to give us a chance. We are still behind Paradise in terms of quality and we may never truly bridge the gap but we were good enough this season. We will continue to monitor the transfer market for ways to improve. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS A good first season at Queen's Park Rangers, that puts us exactly a double away from progressing from this leg. With that in mind we will be remaining with QPR next season. MAP Link to Map SUMMARY Edited February 18 by TerminalPortugal
TerminalPortugal
QUEEN'S PARK RANGERS (GRENADA) SEASON 2069/70 GFA PREMIER DIVISION We just got over the line in the league. We ended the season badly, the loss to Paradise brought them level on points and the draw should have lost us the title but they also drew on the final day. So we were lucky but we got another 50 points for our second consecutive title. WALLY-T KNOCKOUT FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT The double was needed to complete this leg this season, but Paradise got the better of us in the semi final and we were done in the cup for this season. No points. SQUAD We tried to continue improving the squad but it was difficult. We already had five foreign players which is the limit, and we are not transitioning away from certain players where we are finding better players so at the moment we still have a mish mash of players, some of which will be gone next year or at least not playing. Paradise have the best Grenadians and its difficult to compete but we have done pretty well so far with this team. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We could have been done this season with the leg, but not winning the cup means we have at least one more season to wait. We will need either of the league or the cup next season so I hopeful that we can win one of those and finally complete the leg once and for all. TerminalPortugal
QUEEN'S PARK RANGERS (GRENADA) SEASON 2070/71 GFA PREMIER DIVISION The standard that both ourselves and Paradise reached this season was quite something. We each lost on game respectively and in the it was just that we drew one game and they drew two. It was a very hard fought season and we needed to be at the peak of our powers to be able to come away with the title. The title that would give us 25 points and passage to NA7 WAGGY-T KNOCKOUT FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT Where the league was brilliant from us the cup was an aberation as we fell at the first hurdle to lower league opposition. Very disappointing as this happened early in the season and it put all the pressure on the league. Thankfully we did not need both but at the time it was bitterly disappointing to exit the cup in this fashion. SQUAD There wasn't a lot more we could do to the team. The main addition was Fernando Antonio, that might have even happened at the end of last season and Shevon Bedeau who was released by Paradise and we managed to pick up and instantly became our best AMC. This team achieved a lot against really what was a juggernaut in Grenadian football in Paradise. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS It was a tough road in NA7 and Grenada probably provided us the biggest challenge so far as Paradise were no joke in this league as they amassed crazy points and often got the better of us when we faced each other. We now leave behind NA8 and move on to NA7 which consists of Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent & The Grenadines and St Lucia. TerminalPortugal
HOPE INTERNATIONAL (ST VINCENT & THE GRENADINES) SEASON 2071/72 We arrived in the region and we were waiting about half a season, perhaps a little more to get a club. The club we found was a strange one. Hope International are the most successful club in St Vincent history and won the league last season, but when we arrived we had less than half the season to go and they were in a relegation place. There was no chance for points or silverware, but if we could save them we would have a good base to go from. NLA PREMIER LEAGUE We came in and turned things round completely. We finish in 5th place after taking the club in 9th place. Not sure what happened before I got here but they were massively underperforming. SQUAD We pick up what looks to me like a good squad. The lack of goals we had when we came in has been largely rectified in recent performances. We did manage to make one signing already as he was unattached and that is Luciano the Brazilian left winger who should improve us in that position. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS When we first arrive in a region it's always tumultuous until we find our feet and often we don't have a chance at points, this no different. Based on recent performances though I expect to win the league next season. MAP Updated Map with Logos I was having issues with the map it should be rectified. TerminalPortugal
HOPE INTERNATIONAL (ST VINCENT & THE GRENADINES) SEASON 2072/73 NFA PREMIER LEAGUE Much as I expected from last season we absolutely smashed our way to a league title win, winning the league by 20 points from System 3. 100 points in the bag SQUAD We improved the team heavily again mostly with agent offer Brazilians and anyone we could get our hands on. This team almost went perfect this season and remained undefeated all season. We most certainly have the best team in the nation. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS There is only one competition in St Vincent which is the league, so normally we would leave, but I have decided to stay one final season at Hope International, which will hopefully give us a second league title and then we will move on. TerminalPortugal
HOPE INTERNATIONAL (ST VINCENT & THE GRENADINES) SEASON 2073/74 NLA PREMIER LEAGUE An utter domination and we are champions with three games left to play. 50 points to the board. SQUAD This squad is overpowered for this division, we still haven't lost at the club and I would expect if we stayed on we probably wouldn't lose for a very long time. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Job done in St Vincent and the Grenadines, but we have left a very overpowered Hope International, which means it's probably not advisable to return unless this team breaks up. We have 150 points in the bag and have made some decent progress. We are leaving the club and seeing where we will land next. TerminalPortugal
GARDEN HOTSPURS (SAINT KITTS & NEVIS) SEASON 2074/75 We were not away for very long from the touchline, as we had quite a few clubs after our services when we left Hope International. The best prospect was Garden Hotspurs from Saint KItts and Nevis, which were one of the better sides in the country. The other nice feature of Saint Kitts was the fact that it has three competitions, so plenty of points on offer. SKNFA DIGICELL PREMIER LEAGUE We absolutely destroyed the league this season, no quarter taken as we won it by 20 points. We get 100 points for the win. SKNFA CUP We won the FA Cup pretty easily. 40 points won. PRESIDENT'S CUP The President's Cup was a little bit of a tougher test but we came through well for another 40 points. SQUAD We bought a few places but the main core of the team was already here and we performed very well this season. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS A very good season as we pick up 180 points from the various competitions. We will remain at least another season to see what happens and how close we then are then to passing to the next leg. MAP Link to Map SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
GARDEN HOTSPURS (SAINT KITTS & NEVIS) SEASON 2075/76 SKNFA DIGICEL PREMIER LEAGUE We won the league but by our very high standards we were horrid this season, absolutely terrible. The main issue was that the backup in defence were absolutely trash. Probably my fault for not addressing it better but it was comedy at times. Still 50 points on the board for us. SKNFA CUP Not what we wanted, if you get to the final and your the favourite you want to win it. This goes back to how horrible defensively we were, we scored 4 goals and still lost. That pretty pathetic. PRESIDENT'S CUP We didn't even make the final in the President's Cup as Superstars knocked us out, again we conceded way too many goals in that game, SQUAD I am very disappointed overall. I though we had things under control but the likes of Sawyers saw too much game time and he only played 218 minutes. Good performances at the back were few and far between and it was not good enough this season. In the attacking areas. The main story is the backups just weren't of the required standard and we perhaps didn't manage the team too well this season. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Only 50 points this season, when I was expecting 90, and to be honest we are very fortunate to come away with the 50 as we easily could have been overtaken towards the end of the season and its just that others team around us also took misteps along the way especially towards the conclusion of the season. We are leaving the club as there is just no point remaining. If we land at the right club with a league and cup double we would be done, so we leave on a bit of a downer with Garden Hotspurs. TerminalPortugal
GRENADES FC (ANTIGUA & BARBUDA) SEASON 2076/77 We were only out of work for 1 month or so, before we had a plethora of options to choose from mostly in Antigua and Barbuda, where it seemed a domino of sackings and managers leaving left us with a pick of clubs. The best club we had on offer was Grenades, who had finished 2nd last season and were one of the best teams in the land. DIGICEL/RED STRIPE PREMIER DIVISION We were absolutely perfect this season, no one could touch as we won every single game in the league season finishing with 90 points and a +141 goal difference, probably the most dominant we have been so far at any team. The league win gives us 100 points for our total. ABFA FA CUP The league form was translated into the ABFA FA Cup as we faced no issues, including the final where we played our own B side in the final. 50 points and this meant the leg was over. SQUAD We were able to improve the team markedly from when we arrived. Two guys stand out a lot, Tanzanian international John Ali was absolutely lethal this season with 54 goals in 34 games and Bolade Aiki got 41 assists as he built up a remarkable partnership with Ali. A great side that achieved amazing things for us. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We got to 500 points and exceed and so that means we are done here in NA7 and will be moving to NA6 which will consist of Cuba, Suriname, French Guiana and Guadaloupe, which I think we might have some kind of continental football. I will need to keep a look out to see what continental competitions we might be able to get into and so it might change our decision making. TerminalPortugal
AS ETOILE MATOURY (FRENCH GUIANA) SEASON 2078/79 We were out of work for a fair while until we could get back into things. Eventually we were able to get a job in French Guiana, at AS Etoile Matoury. They are mid table to upper mid table side in French Guiana and had sacked their manager despite being a pretty acceptable 7th in the table. We took over with just about a third of the season to go. LIGUE DE GUYANA We improved quite a lot after w took over and had we not dropped the points we did, we would have been champions but alas we will have to accept 3rd place which won't give us any points this season. SQUAD We haven't been able to make much change to the team. The team does need improvement next team if we are to push for the title I think. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We have a new club in a new region. I think as long as we get things right we can push for the league and the cup next season. Incidentally I haven't shown the cup as we were already out of that when we arrived. TerminalPortugal
AS ETOILE MATOURY (FRENCH GUIANA) SEASON 2079/80 LIGUE DE GUYANE A very comfortable league title for us this season. We only really opened up a big lead towards the end of the season, but 10 points makes it very comfortable. 100 points for us. COUPE DE GUYANE We found the cup very straightforward right the way through the tournament. 40 points for us. SQUAD There are limits of foreigners so we were a bit limited in who we could get in to improve the team, but we did enough to make the domestic competitions very comfortable for us this season. We will see if we can improve the side further next season. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We got the job done this season. It is still a mystery to me whether we will qualify for any continental competitions next season. I guess we will find out. If not then we will probably move on at the end of next season. TerminalPortugal
AS ETOILE MATOURY (FRENCH GUIANA) SEASON 2080/81 LIGUE DE GUYANE We won the league very easily, winning by 24 points. We take 50 points. COUPE DE GUYANE We found the cup pretty easy, winning the semi final 5-0 and final 4-0. 20 points for us. SQUAD We got some improvements to the squad and we have done brilliantly this season. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We leave Etoile Matoury having won a couple of league titles and a couple of cups, and it has got us plenty of points at the start of NA6. TerminalPortugal
US MATOURY (FRENCH GUIANA) SEASON 2081/82 We left Etoile Matoury after a very succesful spell and actually found ourselves with a very interesting job offer within a few weeks of leaving, to manage a team in the same city as Etoile in the form of US Matoury. They were roughly the second best team in the country so we would be starting with a team that had in theory all the elements to challenge our former club Etoile. LIGUE DE GUYANE It ended up being a walk in the park for us to grab our maiden title with US Matoury as we won the league by close to 20 points. That's another 100 points for us. COUPE DE GUYANE We needed penalties against our former club in the final to come through but the luck went our way and we lift the Coupe de Guyane, for another 40 points. SQUAD We got the job pretty close to the start of the new season, and we had problems getting scouts early on that limited what we could do with the squad in terms of additions. I think we are close to on par with Etoile as the best team in the country, but if we can improve again this year I will do it. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We are gathering speed in this region and are now well over halfway. Another season at US Matoury that brings the same kind of success will leave us one league title away from the end of this leg. So we will be remaining here next season. TerminalPortugal
US MATOURY (FRENCH GUIANA) SEASON 2082/83 LIGUE DE GUYENE We found the league very easy going this year, winning early on and we are leaving before it even ends after the Cup Final. 50 points added to us. COUPE DE GUYENE We fell short in the final of the cup to our old team Etoile losing 3-2. The cup actually was not a neccesity as the league title puts us only 100 points away from completing the leg. It would have been nice to win it, but in the end probably won't matter too much in the grand scheme of things. SQUAD We reinforced where we could but actually we went backwards in the pre-season predictions, expected to finish 4th, but we certainly produced better displays than that prediction. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We are now only 100 points away from completing the leg and that means we need one more league title and that will be that. We will leave this job and see where we land next. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
ASC REMIRE (FRENCH GUIANA) SEASON 2083/84 We left US Mataury, and about a month or two later, we had another job offer and it was again in French Guiana for ASC Remire. They are not a big side in French Guiana, but this season they were seen as pretty high when it came to pre-season predictions, so I was quite happy to take the job. The main task was to win the league and that would mean we would have completed the leg. LIGUE DE GUYANE Very easy league win in the end. We were lucky with injuries with a very short squad in the end. We were pretty perfect most of the season with the resources we had and we get the 100 points we needed. COUPE DE GUYANE It wasn't important to us, but we did actually go out pretty early on to one of our previous sides Etoile. SQUAD We had a very small squad and we struggled to recruit this season, fortunately we had plenty of quantity in the team to be able to produce the results we needed. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We are done in this region, and it was all done in French Guiana, which was a little strange. We obviously left a legacy in the country winning all those titles. We now move to NA5 which contains Panama, Martinique, Puerto Rico and Guyana. MAP Map Link SUMMARY

TerminalPortugal
AS NEW-CLUB (MARTINIQUE) SEASON 2085/86 We were out of work for about a year and half before finding a role at AS New-Club, a mid table Martinque side. MARTINIQUE CHAMPIONNAT NATIONAL The Martinique league is two groups followed by a knockout tournament for the top sides and we managed to win the league with a good performance against the best side in the country AS Samaritaine in the final. 100 points for us. COUPE DE MARTINIQUE We lost the cup final to Samaritaine 2-0. So no points for us. SQUAD We invested a lot in team bringing in anyone who was better than what we had. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS A good start, would be nice if we qualified for continental competitions, but as yet no real message letting us know whether this would be the case. TerminalPortugal
AS NEW-CLUB (MARTINIQUE) SEASON 2086/87 MARTINIQUE CHAMPIONNAT NATIONAL We won another league title. We were imperious in the league phase winning every game and that wouldn't change in the knockout portion of the competition, but the final was crazy. We were second away from losing it, it ended 4-4 at full time, 5-5 after extra time and we came through on penalties. Another 50 points. COUPE DE MARTINQUE We could only get to the Quarter Final before losing this year. No points. SQUAD We brought in players and we lost players, as it was a constant struggle to keep the players we had with an amateur club. Still we managed to enter the season as the best team on paper, but by the end of the season I would be surprised if that was still the case as we just kept losing players. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We never did win the cup, but we got two league titles, so that suits me nicely. We will leave the club now and look for another job. TerminalPortugal
CLUB COLONIAL (MARTINIQUE) SEASON 2087/88 We left New-Club, but very quickly had another job in Martinique with Club Colonial. They are one of the big sides in Martinique but were currently more or less an upper mid table side so we would need to improve the team to reach our goals. MARTINIQUE CHAMPIONNAT NATIONAL Despite finishing 2nd in the group phase behind a very good Golden Lion team, we managed to come through and win the playoffs, beating Golden Lion along the way in the semi final and our old friends Samaritaine in the final. 100 points gained. COUPE DE MARTINIQUE Penalties would cost us in the cup as we lost the final after a drab 0-0 game. No points for us. SQUAD The team was already mostly foreign players. We tried to improve where we could and we brought in Souza from New-Club who ended up having a great season for us with 24 goals in 25 games. It's a good team but not the best on the island. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Another 100 points is great for us, we will stay another season at Club Colonial to see if we can get more points. I wonder whether we will ever win the cup here, as it just seems like we jinxed when it comes to that competition. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
CLUB COLONIAL (MARTINIQUE) SEASON 2088/89 MARTINIQUE CHAMPIONNAT NATIONAL A very dominant performance from us saw us lift the league title. We were especially impressive when we got to the knockout stages beating former club New-Club 5-1 and then old nemesis Samaritaine 5-0 in the final. 50 points added. COUPE DE LA MARTINIQUE A very dominant performance in the cup as we finally got our hands on the trophy that had eluded us for some time in Martinique. 40 points added. SQUAD We added a few this year, but to be honest we have had some nice development out of some players. Enderson has become a real top player for us and Souza continues to improve. Almeida I believe came in this season and did a fabulous job. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS A good run with Club Colonial comes to an end and we are now just 170 points away from completing the leg. It remains to be seen whether we will resurface once again in Martinique or somewhere different for our next job. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
CD UNIVERSITARIO (PANAMA) SEASON 2089/90 Upon leaving Club Colonial, we were very fortunate that suddenly quite a few jobs became available including Bayamon in Puerto Rico, whom had been one of the best sides in Puerto Rico and Universitario, who had dominated Panama for many years now. Since Universitario gave us a job offer first and we were still waiting for an interview with Bayamon, we decided to go with them instead. LIGA PANAMENA DE FUTEBOL The league in Panama operates on a Apertura and Clausura system, but ultimately it all comes down to a final playoff between the top two teams or possibly the winner of the Apertura and the Clausura against one another. We won both the Apertura and Clausura and then followed up with an easy two legged win over San Francisco. We were way too good for the rest of the league this season, they barely had an answer to us. 100 points earned. COPA DE PANAMA We managed to win the Copa de Panama. It wasn't easy, we had tough games in the Third Round, Semi Final and Final but we managed to come out on top each time. Another 40 points. SQUAD The squad didn't need improving it was already the best side in Panama by a good margin. We only added Jonathan Castillo who came in from Tauro. Unless we lose players, I would be happy to keep things as they are. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We are now just 20 points away from completing this leg, that means either the league title or the cup next year will be enough to allow us to proceed to NA4 and I would be very surprised if we didn't get one of them, so I suspect next season will be our last with Universitario. TerminalPortugal
CD UNIVERSITARIO (PANAMA) SEASON 2090/91 LIGA PANAMENA DE FUTBOL We started the season with a loss and draw, but we soon turned that around to a fearsome run of form that extended from the Apertura into the Clausura. We have already won them both, but for reasons that will become apparent we would not get to the Playoff final, which was likely to be against Plaza Amador. COPA DE PANAMA The cup would be our first opportunity to finish this leg of the journey and we duly obliged with a very dominant display, winning the final against Plaza Amador 5-1 to win the Copa and get the 20 points required to finish the leg. SQUAD We made no signings as we just didn't need to make any, this team is very dominant in this league. Zapata got himself 50 goals from midfield, which is absolutely outrageous numbers. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS The cup win was enough to complete NA5, which we did mostly through Montserrat and then at the end with a very dominant Universitario side in Panama. We now move on to NA4 which will consist of Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti and El Salvador, and surely now we will be eligible for the Caribbean Cup as a minimum so we might get our first taste of continental football that might alter our strategy, that has been very linear for quite some time all the way through North America. TerminalPortugal
DEFENSE FORCE (TRINIDAD & TOBAGO) SEASON 2092/93 We arrived in the new region and had to wait around for some time for the first season to pass, but we would eventually get a great opportunity. Defence Force, by far the best side in TNT had missed on the league title on goal difference and that was enough to get the manager Peter Adams the sack, and we obliged to join. We instantly were qualified for the Caribbean Cup this season, as well as could go after the domestic league and domestic cup. TT PRO LEAGUE The league was not a contest, last season Central had won it on goal difference but this year they were 23 points behind us as we romped away with the league without much issue. 100 points gained. FIRST CITIZEN'S CUP The cup provided no real issues for us as we made it through the group with a perfect record before smashing Caledonia United and then in a closer affair we beat Jabloteh, but again we were not really under that much pressure. Another 40 points in the bag. CARIBBEAN CUP We found the Caribbean Cup to be pretty easy to be honest. The group stage was a massacre as we smashed almost everyone and beat Cavalier who were a threat to win the tournament. Mount Pleasant of Jamaica were next and while the first leg produced a draw, the second leg was one sided. We then faced Cavalier in the final and the first leg was a battering, even though we lost the second leg it mattered very little and we had won the Caribbean Cup, our first continental competition in North America. After looking at the tournament and others in the region I could only justify giving it a tertiary status and we get 50 points for the win. However here is where things got very interesting, this win qualified us for the CONCACAF Champions Cup for this season. CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP Having qualified for the Champions Cup via the Caribbean Cup I assumed we had very little chance to win this tournament. We faced off against CF Montreal of the MLS in the Second Round and I was very surprised by the result as we went through 9-4 on aggregate. Then we had a very tough tie against Isidro Metapan of El Salvador, where we were lucky to draw the home leg and needed late goals, but a very sturdy away performance found the 1-0 win we needed to advance to the semi final. Then it was the real test, quality Mexican opposition, but that seemed to change nothing as we beat Cruz Azul 3-1 and drew away. In the final we were up against it and it looked like we were going to come up short, but a late goal gave us the equaliser in the game and then a very late stoppage time winner gave us the title. Absolutely mental that we managed to pull this off. I don't think it was that lucky because of the calibre of performances that we had against the likes of Montreal and Cruz Azul but we were fortunate in the final. 500 points earned and the region done in one. SQUAD This squad delivered the onslaught that we gave out this year and I added very little to it. Kizza, Costa and Castellanos were the main signings we made. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Well that was a very big surprise for me, considering we weren't even qualified for the Champions Cup at the start of the season, to come away with that particular trophy and complete the region in just one season is very very special. With NA4 complete in as little time as possible we can now move on to NA3 which consists of Honduras, Canada and Guatemala. TerminalPortugal
CAVALRY FC (CANADA) SEASON 2094 It would be a long while we would wait until we found a job, and the first job we found we took in the form of Cavalry FC in Canada. They were probably one of the better teams in the league but were sitting in the penultimate spot, with about 8 or 9 games to go in the league. CANADIAN PREMIER LEAGUE We managed to force our way up the league and managed to make the playoffs, but we would only reach the Quarter Finals losing to Pacific FC on penalties. CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP The Canadian Championship is like a Canadian FA Cup, but it is a continental competition because it includes both MLS and Canadian Premier League sides. We overperformed to go on to win. The semi final was mental, we were dead and buried after the first leg, but fired back amazingly away against Toronto FC. I am not sure whether they rested players or what happened but it was amazing and then we needed everything we had to overcome Vancouver Whitecaps over two legs, but we did it. 50 points for the cup. SQUAD I don't like the squad at all, now that isn't everyone, there are guys I like in there, but the balance is all wrong. We need to make major moves in the transfer market and we have £12.5m to spend, but the issue will be the wage cap which we will need to comply with so it won't be easy. We have a lot of potential foreign player spots that we can exploit, but the wages will need to be right on anyone coming into the club. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS It's been a decent start. We have qualified for the CONCACAF Champions Cup due to winning the Canadian Championship, but I don't think we have much of a chance because we need to overhaul the squad substantially. The goal is to win the league next season and do well in the Canadian Championship and hopefully we are then ready for an extended continental campaign. TerminalPortugal
CAVALRY FC (CANADA) SEASON 2095 CANADIAN PREMIER LEAGUE We started the season very well but for factors that were to become apparent we only played 7 games of the season before leaving the club. CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP I thought we would have very little chance to win the Champions Cup, however this turned out to not be the case. We probably shouldn't have won it, but we managed to negotiate each tie to just about squeak through each time. Against Pumas in the first round we needed to come from a deficit in the first leg and did so. Against Isidro Metapan we drew at home and made it through on away goals after a 4-4 draw, our final goal coming in 98th minute. Pachuca was probably the easiest tie as we routed them in Mexico 4-0 before the home leg turned into a shootout that ended 4-4. Chivas again we required a resurgence at home to make it through against them and then in the final, we were probably the most stable of all the games apart from Pachuca away, where we got ahead and just picked Toluca off. Another Champions League and another rung done in very quick time. 500 points earned. SQUAD I said we needed to improve the team, and it was not easy because of how restrictive the wage cap is in Canada. We brought in Connolly, Thapelo and Neto and they made a big difference to the team. Not because they were much better than the players we had but they were quality players that could cover real weaknesses in the team and most of them played a few positions and that was key to being able to challenge as can be seen from the much better league form and the amazing Champions Cup run. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Well we have motored through NA4 and NA3, much quicker than I thought we would, and to be sure that has been an element of good fortune in the runs we had especially in the case of Cavalry where I felt we were probably not ready yet to win the big one, but having done so we now move onto NA2, which comprises only The United States of America and it is our first Golden Round, which will require us to get a total of 1,500 points to advance, so whatever happens we will be in the US for quite some time I am sure. The MLS historically has been a league that I have not been fond of so we will see if I can navigate it assuredly this time. TerminalPortugal
PORTLAND TIMBERS (UNITED STATES) SEASON 2096 We were waiting for about a year before the first MLS job came up, and that was the Portland Timbers. They were sitting bottom of the Western Conference, and had not won a game yet after 12 games of the season. The team itself wasn't anywhere near as bad as that and based on pre-season predictions was the 9th best side in the country. So with that information to hand we took the job trying to salvage the season. MLS We did manage to salvage the season and make it into the playoffs. We actually looked good value to go on a do something, but we would unfortunately fall to St Louis City at the Western Conference Semi Final stage and they would go on to be MLS champions. We deserved to beat them in the game with about 3 XG to under 1, but we lost 2-1 and that was that. LAMAR HUNT US OPEN CUP We managed to get our hands on the US Open Cup. We found the going not too difficult apart from our first tie in the Fourth Round against a very good Seattle side and the final also proved difficult against Dallas but we came through 1-0. We get 40 points for the win. LEAGUES CUP The Leagues Cup is a strange tournament, to be honest the way that North America does things is strange full stop. I thought long and hard about what the Leagues Cup was and to be honest you have to take it as the equivalent of the UEFA Europa League even though it is a competition between Mexican and American teams and therefore 200 points is on the line. We were brilliant in the Leagues Cup from start to finish, it was probably the period where we were playing our best football. We took Tijuana apart 5-0 twice, got through tough ties against Real Salt Lake, America of Mexico, Seattle and then eventual MLS champions St Louis City in the final. A great 200 points for us. SQUAD The bugbear I have with the MLS is completely down to squad management and the wage cap. It is a learning curve that I find a bit annoying to deal with. Due to that I am unsure of really how to improve the side. We are currently bang on the cap as we speak, and the team is decent. If we get rid of players I am unsure if we could replace them, so really I think the improvements to this team are going to come in the form of forced changes. If I am forced to replace a player because they leave then I will, otherwise I actually might try and keep the unit together. The annoying thing so far has been the constant moaning and destabilisation coming from a number of the players. I have mostly just told them where to go with their complaints or on the very seldom occassion placated their whims for now, but mostly with minimal intention of giving into demands. We will see where that gets us, but its problematic for sure. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Over 200 points in the first season, taking over the club rooted to the bottom of the table is very good going, and with the Leagues Cup win we did qualify for the Champions Cup, so that will be very handy for next season. Since we have managed to win the competition before with two very unfancied teams I give us a decent chance assuming we can just get things right. The thing about this kind of league is that as long as things go well I can see us staying with Portland until we achieve our targets because what upside is there really in moving with every club sharing the same restrictions. If something truly amazing does come along, I might consider a move, but at the moment that seems unlikely. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
PORTLAND TIMBERS (UNITED STATES) SEASON 2097 MLS In the MLS, we only get points for winning the MLS Cup, essentially the playoffs in the American system. We won our conference and the Supporters Shield which is essentially a unified league across the MLS and in the playoffs we made all the way to the grand final, but we would lose it to Philadelphia. Disappointing for us and no points earned. LAMAR HUNT US OPEN CUP We repeated our US Open Cup win from least year beating Atlanta United in the final 3-1. 20 points earned. LEAGUES CUP We repeated the Leagues Cup win beating Seattle in the final, as we were very dominant during the tournament. As it is a secondary continental competition, we get another 200 points for the win. CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP Early on in the year we entered the Champions Cup and we managed to go all the way in it to win it beating Dallas in the final 2-1. 500 points earned. SQUAD The squad management side ended up being pretty complicated for me. I wanted to replace all my designated players because they were old and no longer really of the calibre to be worth keeping in those kind of contracts. We managed to find buyers and moves happened and then we brought in new DP's in Lundstrom, Delbosco and Kvichia, but then when registering them we couldn't get the books to balance, so that meant we had to sell other players. Then I rediscovered that we could pay down contracts with general allocation money and that made things much easier, and we got in a few more players who wanted lower wages that qualified them for senior contracts. As part of one of the firesales we did we managed to acquire the No 1 pick in the Superdraft, which allowed us to pick up Nathan Gough, a super fullback which has been brilliant for us. In the end we were forced to change a lot of personnel, but the changes did improve the team to 2nd best team in the MLS on paper. I am happy with the team but that won't last because there are plenty of guys we currently have who we can't give contracts to because they would exceed a senior player salary and I don't think they are worth displacing a DP. So this coming season we will have to do it all again and more or less churn up the whole squad again I suspect. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We have been able to do really well this season and our points have shot up to just under 1,000 points, which is great after two seasons at the club in this extended region. The MLS cup loss was tough to take but winning both continental competitions was worth far more points. If we can win the Champions Cup again then we should be in a fantastic position to end the journey next season. We just need to get the inevitable change in personnel at the club right for the coming season. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
PORTLAND TIMBERS (UNITED STATES) SEASON 2098 MLS We were beginning to falter a little bit in the league to be honest. We started off amazingly with an 11-0 demolition of LA Galaxy but the squad depth started to show itself as a problem when we had long runs of games. We would not get to finish the MLS season for reasons that will become apparent. LAMAR HUNT US OPEN CUP We lost out in the Fifth Round of the cup against Seattle and we couldn't really have many arguments with our exit, we were well beaten. LEAGUES CUP It seems it rarely matters what is happening to us when the Leagues Cup comes around as we always seem to perform. We did need a bit of good fortune in the semi final against FC Dallas as we won on penalties and in the final we needed extra time against Colorado. 200 points won. CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP The Champions Cup win happened before the Leagues Cup win, so it would be the Leagues Cup win that would confirm we had the points to move on to the next round. In the Champions Cup we were very composed until the final when it was a little crazy in a 4-4 game that we won on penalties. It was 2-2 at full time, 4-4 after extra time and Inter Miami missed I believe all their penalties. 500 points won. SQUAD It was a bit of a disaster with the transfer market. We knew who was leaving and what they were earning so we moved in the market to get a few squad players. However the rules changed so to speak and we lost "international player" slots which meant the vast majority of the players we brought in we had to waiver. It really is incredibly hard to manage in the US because of all the rules and the lack of information about what will happen in coming seasons. Anyway the team is weaker, but we kept a lot of the key players. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS The two continental competitions are enough to move us on to NA1, the pinnacle of North America as we move on to another Golden Round in Mexico. TerminalPortugal
ATLAS FC (MEXICO) SEASON 2099/00 We waited around for a while for a job to become open in Mexico and the first job that became open was one that we were interested in. Atlas had just finished in 12th place in the Apertura championship and the manager had been sacked. The Clausura was still to come and I thought the job was one that was pretty good for our purposes. Atlas were about the sixth best side in the country, so with the right moves we could potentially challenge. LIGA MX CLAUSURA We had an immediate impact on the team in the Clausura and were able to proceed up the table, and only Cruz Azul hung close to us. Of course none of that mattered for much because there was playoff to decide the champion. We faced Monterrey in the Quarter Final and it was tight but we came through it. The same could be said for America in the semi final, where again it was a one goal margin over the whole tie. In the final and in what should have been the toughest test we faced Cruz Azul and it was much easier as we overcame them 3-1 away and then 4-1 at home in a tie that was ludicrously badly affected by international call ups, which probably affected both sides. Because Mexico does not have a playoff between the Apertura and Clausura, each Apertura and Clausura will count as titles and they will depreciate one another. So we get 100 points for having won a Clausura. SQUAD It is a good squad and I like the composition very much. The main issue was a lack of depth at left wing and we were able to bring in Piedrahita from Venezuela to provide that necessary depth, although we did have periods where both him and Duran were out anyway forcing me to deploy Salas on the unfamiliar wing. The striker Alfaro will proabbly be going I would expect, because we struggling to tie him down to new contract because of wage demands and Guardado in defence has had his release clause activated by a whole host of clubs and he will almost certainly go also. So next season we will need to bring in new faces, preferably Mexicans so that we keep registration nice and easy. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We are now in Mexico in earnest and we have 100 points on the board. I have not yet been told whether we qualified for the Champions League, and am not sure whether the Clausura counts towards that, but hopefully it does and we can compete again for more Champions Cups. It's a good start and hopefully we can kick on. MAP Map Link SUMMARY

TerminalPortugal
ATLAS (MEXICO) SEASON 2100/01 CAMPEON DE CAMPEONES The Mexican equivalent of the Super Cup came around early in the season and it was again played during an international break, which hampered both sides. However we came through resoundingly 6-1 for 20 points. LIGA MX APERTURA We won the league phase quite easily and then ran through the playoffs in rather easy fashion as well to get another 50 points. Our first Apertura, but we did win the Clausura last season so this is worth 50 points. LIGA MX CLAUSURA We were extremely dominant in the Clausura phase racking up 47 points an going unbeaten. The playoffs didn't provide a huge challenge until the final where it would be a home 1-0 win that would get us over the line against America. 25 points earned. LEAGUES CUP The Leagues Cup always seems to be our trophy wherever we area and we did not disappoint running through the opposition easily apart from a tough tie against Colorado where they gave us a few scares. 200 points earned. CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP We smashed our way past Real Espana of Honduras in extravagant fashion winning 10-0 on aggregate before smashing Sporting Kansas City in the home leg to win 8-4 on aggregate. Cruz Azul were powerless to stop us as we advance 4-0 on aggregate and the final was a real tough one. We were the much better side during the game but the it would end 1-1 and we would rely on penalties to win our maiden Champions Cup. 500 points bagged SQUAD The squad is super strong. We lost Guardado last season but we replaced him with Ladino who has been brilliant for us. The other major signing I can remember was Juan Roman Romero for £7m from America who has been brilliant as well. Also the other main signing was a new goalkeeper in Gonzalo Lopez, who came in from Argentina. Our other keeper had retired at the end of last season and was another move we had to make in the market. But generally when it has come to transfers it has been a case of less is more really, as I wanted to keep the core which I have managed to do and just add a few extra tools where possible. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS We gained 795 this season, and it has been a fantastic season as we came away with every possible piece of silverware we could, as we dominated domestically and in North American football. A similar season next season will be enough to complete North America altogether. MAP Map Link SUMMARY
TerminalPortugal
ATLAS (MEXICO) SEASON 2101/02 CAMPEON DE CAMPEONES We got points without having to play a game as we were awarded the Campeon de Campeones without needing to play a game by virtue of having won both the Apertura and Clausura titles. We get 10 points. LIGA MX APERTURA We had a dominant league stage but it was all in the balance when we lost the first leg of the final in the playoffs to Monterrey 3-1, but we would turn the result around at home, coming back 4-1 and winning 5-4 on aggregate. That meant we won 12 points for the league. Half points are always rounded down. LIGA MX CLAUSURA The league phase was a lot closer in the Clausura as we finished above Monterrey on goal difference. During the phase we were good but had the odd bad result. The Necaxa result particularly was an outlier as they scored 4 goals from 0.32 XG. We would however go through the playoffs without much issue apart from tough ties against a Monterrey side in the semi finals. Another league title and thats 6 points for us. CAMPEONES CUP Not to be confused with the Mexican Super Cup was the Campeones Cup, essentially the champions of Mexico vs the champions of the US. We came through a tough tie and claim 40 points for the continental super cup. LEAGUES CUP For once our performance in the Leagues Cup failed us as we were too reliant on penalties and eventually DC United put pay to our chances. CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP We bagged another Champions Cup. DC United proved difficult in the Second Round, and so were Toluca in the Quarter Final. In fact the only game where we were very comfortable was America in the second leg. In the final we would overcome the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1, to claim another Champions Cup and 500 points. SQUAD The transfer window, would weaken us pretty substantially as we lost Ladino to Bayer Leverkusen for £20.5m rising to £24.5m and Leandro to Tottenham Hotspurs for £4.1m rising to £5.25m. We would bring in Ahmed Zein to replace Ladino for £6.25m but he was not the same standard as Ladino, so it was a downgrade there. Leobardo Nelly came in from Monterrey, a late developer from Puebla on the right to replace Leandro. Early in the season we brought in Hiram Chavez from Pumas for £3.6m as defensive midfield cover. A weaker squad but still a very good squad. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS Another good season with plenty of points, however the Leagues Cup exit put pay to any chance of being able to advance this season to Asia. We are very close to the points total required, some 34 points away from the promised land. However with the heavily depreciated domestic tournaments as they are, it will likely require some continental success to complete the region at Atlas. We will be staying on at Atlas, as it seems to be our best opportunity and changing now would come with significant risk I feel of potentially not getting a job or not winning anything. TerminalPortugal
ATLAS (MEXICO) SEASON 2102/03 CAMPEON DE CAMPEONES We once again got the trophy by default because we won both stages of the league last season. 5 points for the trophy. LEAGUES CUP The Leagues Cup was the first opportunity to progress and we took it as we swept all before us for the trophy and 200 points. SQUAD We lost a couple of players, and brought in a few to replace them. Ultimately we leave without having much chance to examine their performance, but we built a great Mexican side here at Atlas. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS So our job in Mexico and North America is done. Overall it took us 63 years, 5 months, 12 days to conquer North America and it was quite a journey through most of the Caribbean islands, some of Central America and finally through the powerhouses of the continent in the USA and Mexico. We now move on to Asia and AFC15 which will consist of East Timor, Yemen, Northern Mariana Islands and Oman, and we will be back to 500 point rounds. TerminalPortugal
FC LERO (TIMOR-LESTE) SEASON 2104 We waited for quite a while leaving Mexico, before the first job came up after the Timorese season had ended. The club in question was FC Lero, who had a team that had finished mid table. They have never won the league and only won 1 Timorese Cup, so they are not a household name, but I felt we could quickly turn things around for them and us. PRIMEIRA DIVISAUN We had a little wobble in the middle of the season, where it looked like we might be reeled in by the other sides but we put that right quickly and sailed off into the sunset winning the league title by 15 points in the end. 100 points won. TACA 12 DE NOVEMBRO In the cup we managed to go all the way. Zebra gave us the hardest test as we needed extra time to see them off. In the final we played Second Division Kablaki and I always felt we would get the job done. 40 points earned. SQUAD This is an amateur club and so are the vast majority of the other sides in the league, so we would periodically lose players and often our best players, but we would get the odd player in. It was not as perfect as at other amateur clubs we have been too where we just picked up whomever we wanted but we did manage to get enough quality to be able to challenge in the end across all fronts. MANAGER PROFILE MANAGER THOUGHTS A very positive start for us in East Timor as we pick up the double in the first year and we picked up 140 points. The most important thing was that we qualified for the AFC Cup which at least gives us a shot at continental points next season.
