steff91
So ive been intrigued for a while to start a save in Kazakhstan for some very odd reason so ive decided to take the plunge and get started in a save where i have literally no knowledge of at all. Using a DB that i found on another site ive added in Kazakhstan in as a playable league, and decided to start with a save with Qairat Almaty who play in the OLIMPBET Cempionat League (Premiership basically) I love reading other stories as well as taking on a fair challenge and i think ive found my match here thats for sure!! The Main Challenge Fierce rivals Astana are clearly the team to beat here in Kazakhstan,we are predicted to finish 5th place which is not too bad in all honesty,we have been handed a transfer kitty of £643k which will give us a bit of scope for a squad rebuild,a good few will be moved on as well after we have a full analysis of the squad. The training facilities here are excellent with great youth facilities too,so hopefully we can some good young talent come through the ranks!!.Comepetition wise theyve always been hovering very near the top of the table having last won it in the 20/21 season, lets hope we can do it again!!
steff91
Squad Assesment Goalkeepers Ustimenko is the obvious starting keeper, with Uljanov more of a prospect just now, a more experienced backup will be required Right Backs This is an area of concern and will be one of the areas of the team that will be looked at first,Sergeev takes up a foreign slot and i dont really like his stats,Tkachenko is nowhere near good enough Left Backs Yo'ldoshev looks a cracking player on loan from some other Kazakh team i think :/ Akhmedov looks a good backup prospect who will get chances,Kurgin is nowhere near good enough and will be moved on at the earliest opportunity Centre Backs We have a good bit of depth here which is handy, the big russian Vasin is a cracking looking player and will be one of the first names on the teamsheet, the others are more than capable when needed by the looks of things, but i guess we will see when the time comes, not an area we need to look at just now thankfully Centre Midfielders This is an immediate area of concern and will be one of the main things addressed when looking at players, none of these players are anywhere near ready for first team action just now Wingers Joao Paulo has no interest at all in staying with us for some reason so he will be moved on at the earliest opportunity which will get a replacement in who wants to play for the club, the others look like decent prospects who will get there chances Forwards With the only real other half decent forward being Santana, this is another area of the team that will need looked at,Seldakhmet doesnt look too bad though too The other issue we have is that only 8 foreign players can be in the match squad so players who are brought in must be first team ready immediately thats for sure!! - We need to be careful

steff91
My RightHand Man We have cleared out the biggest majority of the backroom staff at the club as there stats are nowhere near the expected levels required, most notably though we brought this guy in as the asst manager,a very familiar face to many!!.. A legend back in Ukraine with Dynamo Kiev and Arsenal in England he brings a bit of experience to the backroom team, stats are good for this role i feel..i will be relying on him solely for player advice and reports etc Edited July 4 by steff91
steff91
General Save Setup Now what ive done here is add a few countries that border Kazakhstan to kind of keep the game regioanllised a bit, excuse the spelling...so ive added Russia to the north,Uzbekistan to the south, and Turkmenistan too,China and Turkmenistan ive ignored, due to me wanting to stay in Europe obviously, and Turkmenistan is just a bit too much tbh.. On another note ive also added Armenia,Azerbaijan,Greece,Turkey & Uzbekistan as playable leagues just as random bits and bobs Kazakhstan is yeh very random as a lot of you guys can imagine, but lets see whats what, and what pans out..
steff91
Lets meet the staff then One thing that i always do that i feel is very important is to see what the backroom staff are like as they are an integral part of the club,in this case ive got rid of the biggest majority of them and brought my own guys in,given the stature of the club this may have been tricky to attract decent applicants to a team in Kazakhstan right?...Lets find out, with the exception of Oleg Luzhny who was appointed as Asst Manager Lets just call this guy "Mr Q" Bit of an unknown but comes in as HOYD stats look great and hopefully can help nuture some talent through the ranks The legendary Rene Stam comes in as goalkeeper coach,he should be a good addition to help the keepers in the squad, could be handy for younger players too as you can see Comes in as fitness coach, self explanatory really in all honesty, will try keep the players in peak condition Attacking coach hopefully show the boys up front how to bang the goals in And at the other end of the pitch this man will be responsible for training the players to keep the door shut for us,his stats look good Now all these guys have been appointed on at least 4+ year deals to ensure there stay at the club, otherwise we will get some cash if the are required from other clubs
steff91
Pre-Season Results Our preparations for the new campaign are coming along nicely with a good few warm up games against lower league/amateur opponents with just 3 goals conceded and a good whack scored!! This will certainly help confidence thats for sure even although the lineups contained many trialists and young players, some that we will be looking to bring to the club in the near future which i'll put in a new update The league season now begins with a home tie against Qyzyljar Edited July 7 by steff91
Tombull_
Love seeing saves in Eurasia, should have included Kyrgyzstan as they don't count towards the foreign player cap.
