Took them from mid table in division 2 to champions of Uruguay in 4 seasons. Not one coaching course request accepted in all that time. For the BS reason of 'bettering yourself could lead to a bigger club coming in'. What's insane is that I've just brought in a former player to manage the U19s and the DOF has sent him on a coaching course straight away. Maybe implement it so you ask the board they say no then an option comes up ok I can fund this myself at no cost to the club and the board gve you the go ahead or no as your influence is needed on the trading pitch?
