Mojby
I dont know about anyone else but I tend to make my first substitution at around the 60 minute mark. I think it would be a good idea to have an option to stop the game at a set point so that you are automatically reminded to make a substitution if you want to. Anyone else think this is a good idea? hursty2
Not really a real manager doesn't have an alarm to tell him when to substitute
Ediocy
I think most people base their substitutions on either replacing tired/injured legs with fresh ones, or shaking up the tactics in an attempt to carve an opening/chase after an equaliser/hold onto a fragile lead. Having an option to pause matches at set times, without having the capability to factor in all the above considerations, would result in this option being massively under-utilised in my opinion. Guest brenttroost
As real manager I do use an alarm for my substitutions. So yes an option to stop the time for substitutions would be nice.
eXistenZ
no, bad idea
BeN82
with all due respect, I fail to see the usefulness of this feature being implemented.
AcidBurn
Surely you can just look at the clock on the screen and press the pause button. Very strange idea this one.
easternhawk2
What could be implemented into the game is say when a player's energy levels go below 75% in a match it beeps and recomends you substitute the player off.

easternhawk2
It was only a suggestion, doesn't mean you have to moan at me for not noticing as many things as everyone else.

Mojby
Surely you can just look at the clock on the screen and press the pause button. Very strange idea this one. But, lets say that for some reason you are engrossed in the game play and do not notice that all of a sudden it is the 75th minute, or you have to get up for some reason and leave the computer unattended! There could be many reasons why you might want the game to stop at a set time. Just a thought thats all!
dr_pratt
It's a feature I'd like, the number of times I get distracted with a phone call, something on TV, friends... and suddenly I look back at the game to find it in the 86th minute without having made a sub

stuboy
what I'd like is a return to the old way when the game only stopped when you could make the tactical change, would stop the stupid situation of something changing, a goal, injury etc, between you setting a change and it being implemented. Administrators Lucas Posted February 23, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 23, 2009 No, I wouldn't. I've been known myself to make first half tactical subsitions if they just aren't cutting the mustard or if I'm getting overrun..... Long as it was optional, why not? Brian Shanahan
It's an idea that could be implemented fairly easily (I remember playiong LMA 04 i think and being allowed to set when subs came on if i was quick playing the game), and you could ignore or use it as you wished. Neil Peters
He actually does if you look at the right screen, cant remember what its called during the match, but it tells you "xxxx xxxx looks tired" etc.
