James Ferguson
How do you choose your team? Is it based completely on stats and if so how do you go about comparing 3-4 players?

ahmufcwafc
Whoops sorry about that. I usually stick with the players given to me for the first season or two.
James Ferguson
Out of your current players, how do you choose who is first team? Thanks for the replies
minisav
Assistant team report to see where I need players and then I go scouting. I see if the current players fit my various tactics and see what I need. Obviously you want pacey wingers and atleast 1 pacey striker and then I try and get a big one to go with them. wearesporting
I listen to what the coaches tell me about them and work from there. You'll find out soon enough who's a turd and who isn't.

DougyMarshall
I always play as the club i support so i dont need to learn about what players are effective and where because i already know all of the players, the reserves, the under 19's and their positions... who the opposition are and how likely they are to beat me. Ive done that since i got into FM back in 2006.... It might explain why i end up quitting any other team merely a few games into their seasons... i dont know their players like i do Rangers players so i quit. Most ive managed to do is become Scotland manager and thats usualy only because i then select most of my Rangers team.
