[How bad is the youth development bug right now?]

I get all the arguments of more realistic development but doesn't this just seem abit boring?

 

I like the idea of developing players low down, progressing as the club progresses, seems like now players will only reach their potential, or even progress as a decent rate at a top club

 

Just takes the fun out of it

Perhaps you misread, players are doing this after completing and initial round of working on weaker foot (when weak foot is 9/20)

I've got two players doing it currently, so they used to just improve weak foot constantly in fm21?

Pretty self explanatory but what does this actually do? Like under the hood

I'm unsure how much information you're allowed to share on this forum but I'm aware that telling a player to work on weaker foot will raise it to 9/20 (show as reasonable in game)

Does anyone know what a player working on weak foot in spare time will achieve as I'm unable to tell a player to work on weak foot so I'm guessing it'll take it higher than 9/20

I've just tried to purchase the editor (hoped it would even be free with it being 5 years old but used to being nickle and dimed by games publishers) but I get the same error code 0
