  1. Arda Kurtulan currently has Albania and Northern Macedonia nationality added as well as his caps for the U21 teams of both nations. I have changed the ordering of his nationalities so Albania is the first nationality, Northern Macedonia is second and Turkiye is third. Hopefully he will make more appropriate decisions in the game based on this.
  2. Specific to the screenshots added. 1. Figueiredo does not have the ability to ever represent Turkey so he shouldn't gain citizenship/count as a domestic player any time before 3650 consecutive days spent in Turkey. 2. Valentin Rosier has played for France at the U21 level. At the time he played for France, he wasn't eligible to represent Turkey so he can never switch nationality to play for the Turkish national team. So he shouldn't gain citizenship/count as a domestic player any time before 3650 consecutive days spent in Turkey.
  3. It works in reality as follows. To become a Turkish citizen a player has to apply. To be eligible to apply for citizenship, the person has to have resided in Turkey for 5 consecutive years. So technically a player can apply for citizenship 5 years after arriving in Turkey. Once the application is received, there is of course some processing time for the application and the person to gain citizenship. The FA requires that a player can only play as a domestic player if: The player gains Turkish nationality and resides consecutively in Turkey for a further 5 years (so 10 consecutive years), the player can be registered as a domestic player in the following transfer window. The player is called up to the Turkish national team at any age level and represents Turkey, the player can be registered as a domestic player in the following transfer window. It is technically possible for a player to get their citizenship fast tracked by decree of the Turkish Republic cabinet. This can even happen a day after the player arrives. However FIFA rules require a naturalized player to reside for at least five years in the nation they will represent. Since at least 5 years have to pass from the player's first arrival to represent Turkey, the citizenship by decree route for citizenship is irrelevant. For the purposes of FM, If a player has played at least 5 seasons in Turkey, has not played at any age level for another nation and can immediately walk into the Turkish national team (the rule I requested is a CA of at least 140), then he receives citizenship. If the player has played at any age level for another nation or does not meet the CA requirement after 5 years in Turkey, the player doesn't gain citizenship. The text in the game for this player should probably be more informative than "awaiting paperwork". Specifically if a player has played for another nation then "not eligible to play for Turkiye" if a player doesn't meet the CA threshold then "awaiting callup from Turkiye" Both players should then gain citizenship and be eligible to play as a domestic player after 10 years in Turkey.
  4. The way we had requested this was that the new club owner would make a decision to continue the policy or to abandon it. I am not aware of any instances where the policy continues after a change at the top, though that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Just that nobody has reported it. This may certainly need some tweaking if abandonment of the policy happens every time. I'll log something regarding this and hopefully the developers can take a look under the hood.
  5. We have set the region to correspond to the regional groupings that the Turkish FA uses to group clubs in regional divisions.
  6. @pietonbambe Thanks. The scheduling issue, I defer to folks at SI who are better qualified to deal with it. You will probably need to provide a save game so they can figure out why the match was scheduled on 30/11/2023. This is something I have not observed before. As I wrote in response to feedback provided by others: 1. Angelino's information is entered correctly in the database. I do not know why it is not appearing in the game and there is already a report for this. 2. Turkish cup details were announced too late to be reflected in the initial release of the game. This has already been reported and should hopefully be fixed in a future game update. 3. Galatasaray's first kit is red and yellow. If we set the third kit to also be red and yellow, the third kit will never be used in the game, leaving Galatasaray to use only 2 kits in the game. Also, the kit that you posted has been declared as an alternate 2nd kit to the Turkish FA. GALATASARAY A.Ş. - Kulüp Bilgileri TFF The smart thing to do here, I think, would be to set the striped kit as a Champions League first kit instead so it can be used in the game. Again, until we saw how Galatasaray was going to use this kit, it was prudent not to reflect it as a kit that will never be used in the game. As a final thought, it's probably useful to recognize that we often have to make choices and prioritize certain things when doing research given our deadlines. What you deem as carelessness is more often than not going to be errors which arise from a mismatch between when information is made public and when we have to deliver the data to be included with the game. Or perhaps we may simply prioritize functionality in game (for example Galatasaray's striped kit) rather than aestethics.
  7. I tried to post this in the Bug Tracker but for some reason it just wouldn't post. I started a game as a test in the Turkish league with all players from the top division in Europe loaded into the game as well as all international players from other continents to get a database with approximately 51K players. This should hopefully provide sufficient players in the market to fill the appetite of Turkish clubs. All clubs in the Turkish Super League and Turkish 1. League are subscribed to the continent scouting package, which should allow them to see sufficient transfer targets. My primary goal in running this test was to try to understand why Turkish lower divisions erode in player quality a few seasons into the game. Below is a table which shows the number of players in each CA range as of September (post transfer window close) in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. So the 170 row shows the number of players with CA between 170 and 179; 160 row shows the number of players between 160 and 169 etc. << See uploaded screenshot AI_Player_Hoarding_Table_1.png >>> The table to the left shows evolution of the total number of players in the active divisions. The main observation from this table is the fact that the number of players with 110-149 CA declines quite significantly. The table in the middle shows the evolution of the total number of Turkish players in the active divisions. The 110-119 range declines, the 130-139 range increases, everything else pretty much stays as it should be. The 1-60 range, I'm not paying too much attention since this is a result of the newgen explosion as the game progresses. On the right is a table which shows the evolution of the total number of Foreign players in the active divisions. The decline in the 110-149 range we observed for the total arises from the decline in foreign players. So essentially Turkish clubs aren't signing players from abroad. Is it merely a financial issue? Not really. Most of the clubs have a portion of their wage/transfer budget remaining. They could also use the loan market to supplement their squads, bringing in players who aren't going to be getting much playing time at stronger clubs. But this doesn't appear to happen. Where are these players that could potentially be signed by these clubs, on permanent transfer or on loan? Let's examine this. The table below shows the best 30 clubs. On the left is the best 30 in 2023. On the right is the best 30 in 2026. I am only taking into consideration the best 25 players at the club. Mean shows the average CA of those 25 players. Std shows the standard deviation of CAs of the 25 players. Min shows the CA of the 25th best player at each club. << See uploaded screenshot AI_Player_Hoarding_Table_2.png >>> Avg Diff column shows us the CA difference of the same ranked clubs. For example in 2023 R. Madrid's best 25 has a CA average of 153.7 and they rank first in the world. In 2025 Man City's best 25 has a CA average of 161.4 and they rank first in the world. The first ranked club has improved by 7.8 CA. However this improvement isn't a result of better players in the starting 11. It's a result of better players who would be deemed fringe players in the squad. The weakest player in the top club's 25 player squad has gone up from 115 CA ot 140 CA. The second club's weakest player has improved from 113 to 147. The third weakest club's player has improved from 116 to 139. On average, the best 30 clubs have improved an average of 4.8 CA points for their 25 player squad. And the weakest player of these 30 clubs have improved an average of 18.5 CA points. Should these players on the weaker end of the squad be content with their fringe player status, instead of going elsewhere to play more regularly? If we extend this list to the top 50 clubs, the average CA increases by 4.3 points for the 25 player squad. The weakest player in the squad is higher by an average of 15.5 points. When the top clubs hoard players, the lower divisions start to lack quality as the game progresses and it only takes a matter of 2-3 seasons for this to happen from what I can see. This also impacts the makeup of squads in the game. Stronger clubs (ie. those with a higher CA average for the 25 players) end up with less dispersion in quality while weaker clubs end up with more dispersion in quality, contrary to what we have in the database. Table below shows the average standard deviation for groups of 25 clubs. << See uploaded screenshot AI_Player_Hoarding_Table_3.png >>> 1-25 shows the average standard deviation of the best 25 clubs' squads. Note that in 2023 these clubs have the highest standard deviation, meaning the spread of CAs in these squads is quite large on average. That is, you can have a squad of 25 where the weakest player is 115 and the strongest player is 190, for example. By 2026, the standard deviation is quite a bit lower. When we go down to the 76-100 ranked clubs, in 2023 the squad spread is relatively narrow. So you basically have a squads where the weakest player is 115 and the strongest player is 140. By 2026 the standard deviation is quite a bit higher. If I were to extend this to the 1000th best club, in 2023 the standard deviation in CAs will be around 7-8 while in 2026 it will be around 12-14. I haven't done the number crunching for this using this data but anecdotal evidence tells me the result in the table above will persist.
  8. Not happening in full release. However I am seeing Turkish Super League clubs hold on to too many 20 and 21 year olds in the squad rather than loaning them out to lower divisions to gain experience. I think the fact that clubs don't have to register U21 players is making them hold on to breakthrough/future prospects rather than sending them out to gain experience. The same goes for unregistered players, they should probably be getting loaned out somewhere for free rather than just sitting around collecting dust and having their value go down due to not playing. But perhaps this is a wider issue than just for the Turkish leagues since I'm also seeing foreign AI managed clubs holding on to players who could easily be getting much more playing time elsewhere. For example Beşiktaş have 36 players in the senior team currently at the club, this should probably be no more than 30. Fenerbahçe, on the other hand, has 42 players in the first team at the club. Again, this should probably be no more than 30.
  9. Unfortunately this is beyond the scope of my knowledge of the pre-game editor. You're probably better off asking in the Editor's Hideaway.
  10. Looking at the values we entered in the database, this shouldn't be possible. You may want to report this as a game bug rather than a database issue.
  11. Thanks. I don't believe this to be an issue. The strategy to use only Turkish players is one that the current club owner imposes. If he sells the club and departs, there is no reason to expect a new ownership will continue the strategy. They may, or they may not depending on their own preferences.
  12. Thanks. Looks like he doesn't have his jobs table filled and ideally he shouldn't be in the database unless he's an active chairman. This will be fixed for a future data update.
  13. If you don't allow the game to move matches for TV, then they all get played on the same day, at the same time. This is a feature that's commonly used in online games so that all human managers play their matches at the same time.
  14. @Bora4587 That shouldn't be the case. I wonder if you made an adjustment to the match scheduling options to prevent them being moved for TV?
  15. Thanks. I agree this is not an ideal way to handle the attributes which aren't crucial to a player's playing position. We have already become aware of this and will be making some adjustments to our process to ensure this doesn't persist.
  16. I am not quite sure at the moment. Best I can say is when SI decides.
  17. Thanks. Unfortunately the FA announced the clubs in the division after our data lock so these will be done in a future update. Also by my count there are 13 of them that need to be added. Şırnak Petrolspor is already in the DB as Şırnak İdmanyurdu Spor and have just changed their name. Arhavi 08 Spor Kulübü is also in the DB as Arhavi Gençlik ve Spor and have just changed their name. Cheers.
  18. Thanks for all of this. 1. Club finances are a factor that we use in determining club reputations. While Hatayspor represents an important city in Turkey, their finances are not at a level which befits a reputation higher than the other clubs you mentioned in our estimation. 2. Youth Recruitment is primarily related to the birth place of newgens created at the club. If a club only recruits youth players from their own city, using 1 is the appropriate way to reflect this. 3. & 4. Amateur and Super Amateur clubs are primarily in the database so that we can enter them in player histories. Given that there are more than 3000 clubs at those levels, we do not have the resources to constantly keep those up to date. If you would like to join the research team to help fix these quicker, you would be most welcome. 5. Same with 3 & 4. Although when we last talked about this with an assistant who was working on amateur clubs at the time, we had decided that since the FA keeps changing how groups are set up depending on the number of clubs participating it's probably not the best way to go. 6. Turkish Cup is still in the process of bring updated. This is to be fixed in a future game update. Unfortunately since our FA tends to change cup details every season and announce the details quite late, it hasn't been possible to get the Turkish Cup correct at game release for several seasons now. 7. The name change was approved by the FA after our database lock, this will be fixed. 8. Can you elaborate on this please? 9. See answer for 3 & 4. 10. You will have to provide more details on this please. 11. See answer for 3 & 4. 12. Commercials? We set total commercial income, which in Turkish should translate to toplam ticari gelir. This could include a variety of things such as income from a club owned gas station or social facilities, or sponsorships etc. We tend to use this to ensure clubs have sufficient income stay afloat and be able to sustain their current level. Below Turkish 1. League, I am not aware of payments to clubs from the Turkish FA aside from some very small amounts. If you have further information, I would be happy to get this reflected. 13. I do know a few clubs are a bit too low, since last few years' inflation made Turkish Lira worth very little. I'll have a look and make amendments where necessary. It's probably also useful to mention that the primary role of ticket prices is to simulate club stadium income. There is of course very little information about this at the lower ends of the pyramid. Finally, the Turkish Super League, 1. League and 2. League are the active leagues in the game. To ensure sufficiently researched clubs feed into the 2. League in later seasons, we are required to keep the Turkish 3. League partially researched. Anything for clubs below that, we do so voluntarily and if there is sufficient time left over from our actual tasks. So if you have an interest in these leagues 2, 3 or 4 levels below the lowest active level in the game and would like to see them updated in the game, the best thing to do would be to get involved in FM research. Do send me a DM if you have such an interest please.
  19. Very strange. Though not a data issue since players don't actually have the nationality of the nations by which they are being called up. Would appreciate a moderator moving this to an appropriate area so it can be fixed.
  20. Do point them out if you want them fixed. @burakcakil
  21. I think your best option is logging this as a bug and having coders take a look at it. Since that's not my role, I have no idea what may be wrong.
  22. Typically clubs announce the amount that they will pay the player net of taxes. In Tadic's case that is 4.2 million Euro. The withholding tax for the Turkish Super League is 20%, so the cost of Tadic to Fenerbahçe is 4.2 million / (1 - 20%) = 5.25 million This difference of 1,050,000 is eventually returned to the sports club to be used for other sports such as basketball, volleyball etc. Since we are only interested in the football entity, this money doesn't get returned in the game.
  23. A lot of times these clauses start to get voiced in the media when the player's departure is imminent. I'll mention Isak Vural to Swedish team and see what we can do.
  24. There is this piece of news about him @Kane10. https://ajansspor.com/haber/ferdi-kadioglu-secimini-yapti-imzayi-atti-596990
