FM24 Hitchin Town F.C Season 25/26 Update Season two started the same way most seasons start with me...brilliant. But it didn't last long. Getting two points in 12 games between October and December left us in 20th place with one point clear of relegation. Our right winger went from prime Messi to prime Djemba Djemba...but, but but. Star youth intake from last year Ben Wallace finally became a man, scored 15 goals in the second half of the season and helped us stave clear for one more year. The statues are being built already. Young work horse midfielder Daniel Idiakhoa was probably our best player all year round, bossing the midfield and contributing to goals. Our defence is a lot worse than last year, I'm guessing playing a 16 year old attacking playmaker in DM doesn't help. F.A Cup- Picked up easy wins in the first two qualifiers. Drew National League Scunthorpe in the fourth qualifiers and we smashed them. League one Oxford UTD in the first round at home next. Leading 1-0 till the 70th then they equalise. We hold on for a replay away and that sweet sweet money. Got bopped 6-0, doesn't matter 100k in the coffers means we can finally improve some facilities. Youth recruitment and Junior coaching saw a bump and hopefully the future of this save is somewhat secured. F.A Trophy- Lost to Chester, but they got promoted so it was expected. Youth Intake: Forgot to grab screenshot but was an excellent intake. Here are the stars of it. Re-training to play Inside forward on the right cos Ben Wallace will be our striker for years to come. With goal kepper injuries, he's going to come in very handy. Facilities: Summary: In theory we shouldn't be any worse than this season, so onward and upward. Still some decent money left so should be able to improve youth setup again this year

After so many, I believe I have found the one. Say hello to Hitchin Town F.C Season 1 2024/25 Vanarama National League North - After looking at the profile of players, I realised for once we could actually play decent football for this level, a patient-passing play, call me Pep De-Zerbi. I was wrong, we could not score goals to save our lives. However, keeping 70% of the ball also meant we barely considered. Our right winger Arnold Matshazi scored bangers here and there and we scraped enough wins together to survive another year. The FA Cup - Drew a team in our league in the 4th qualifying round and they made easy work for us. Too bad because Hitchin don't really have the fans to make money through tickets. It'll be a while before we make enough for any facility improvement. So hopefully we do better next year. The FA Trophy - Double jeopardy as Spennymoor boped us 4-1 in our very first outing. Squad - Our wingers were amazing but couldn't stay fit. One game Arnold scored four and assisted two, I have extended his contract by two more years. Our Aging CDM playmaker and Creative forward which the tactic were built around are now retiring. Although as luck we have it I think we got their exact replacements in our intake. One of our Centre backs I thought will be instantly replaced once we got an intake just kept improving and is now actually a decent player for this level. I'm happy with the team going into next season. Youth Intake- Quite pleased as the best players were exactly the positions we needed. Ben wallace is going to be our deep lying forward And Jake Callow our CDM playmaker Summary - Hopefully we make a cup run and make the playoffs so we can start seeing some money for facility improvement. But the current intake should develop nicely. P.S normally I wouldn't hire coaches, just me and the Ass Man to save costs, it has worked for me in the past with young players still developing through game time, however this year coaching and training are way more important than they they've ever been to player development. Once I hired a coach and got the training stars up, a lot of my younger players started seeing remarkable improvement.

Is there a bug with viewing your under 18s? I know it exist cos I accidentally came across a player there and moved him, but can't see the full under 18s Also three weeks in and not a single response to my staff ads
